I think I forgot to blog about this amazing range of papers from Graphic 45. "Once Upon A Springtime" is inspired by Peter Rabbit and is the MOST GORGEOUS line of papers! Here are just a few of my favourites! Today in at the shop we have the Blossomwood and Family Album classes starting at 10am. Tomorrow night at 7pm is the first of Jane's "A Box Of Memories" class - you wont want to miss this one! I am also teaching "Scrap the Girls" at 7pm and Friday Kathy is teaching a repeat of the Copic Class at 1.30pm. Here is a sneak peek of next months AMAZING "Card With A Difference". Hi!! I'm so thrilled to finally be back! For the past few months each time I started using my crafting tools my wrist would take a turn for the worse. I truly hope it is healed once and for all. I'm back in my craft room, joyfully whiling away the hours on whatever inspires me at the moment. Lately my crafty thoughts have been filled with the flutter of fairy wings and lush, secret gardens (my Irish heritage peeking through again!) This fairy garden shadow box I created for my grand-girl is a glimpse of what has been going on in my mind's eye. Now my granddaughter will have a little something from me to inspire her own magical dreams. I also entered this in The Shabby Tea Room's weekly challenge. It's my first time doing something like this and I am having a lot of fun with it! If you have any questions about the products I used just leave a message and I'll be happy to answer them. Much has happened during my little break. Our youngest graduated high school and we moved him to college 4.5 hours away from home. He's happy and had a smooth transition to college life. We are officially empty nesters. I was filled with dread over this and shed many a tear in anticipation of my 'baby' leaving home. So far it is not quite as horrible as I anticipated. I miss him. My heart aches when I walk past his room and he's not in it. But I can happily report my life did not completely end when our last child went off to college. A week ago we attended parent weekend and sat in Death Valley for our very first Clemson football game (Go Tigers!) We had an amazing time! I even had my toenails painted orange with tiger paws. I intend to be the best college parent I can possibly be! I had my sweet grand-girl over for a slumber party last night. We spent the evening playing Littlest Pet Shop and watching Despicable Me. My little angel is an early riser so at 6:45 this morning we started our day with pancakes. These tender, fluffy, scrumptious pancakes are so easy to whip up that I never use a box mix anymore. Let your imagination take flight and make a fun Travelers Notebook Mini Album using Graphic 45's new Imagine Collection! There are so many great images and sentiments to use in this great collection. I've put together a tutorial showing you how to make the cover AND all the inside pages! There are a lot of steps in the Snapguide Tutorial but it's easy to follow. And if you want to flip through thepages, check out my video. Here's the mini opened up so you can see both the front and back covers. I love to make dangles and added one on the spine. It just adds that little extra touch of pizzazz to a project! The roses are Little Birdie and they match this collection PERFECTLY!! I love how they come with open roses, rosebuds and leaves. How great is that? This would make a wonderful travel mini with its adventure sentiments. I have a few friends that I bet would love to receive this as a gift! Here's a close up of the closure that I made using a ribbon, keyhole and velcro. It's a great way to make a closure and I show you how in my tutorial. This style of mini has elastic bands inside and you simply slip each of these booklets, called signatures, under the elastic, and presto, instant mini album! Evening everyone, I thought I'd squeeze one last post in before heading off to Peterborough in the morning. This was the last of the layouts I've put together for the show set and also my own scrapbook album that I'm slowly building up for the boys. This is their mum (me) and their grandma (my mum) who sadly they never got to meet. Its nearly 40 years since she died and this is one of the few photo's I have of us together. I thought I'd create us a layout for my book using the Once Upon a Springtime signature sheet, a backing paper and the large frame from the collection. If you're a G45er you'll know that Graphic 45 always give us great signature sheets in each collection and it's great fun to deconstruct them, and restructure them to make a fabulous picture. Начинаю потихоньку творить весенние работы и конечно же делюсь с вами результатами своих трудов. Совсем недавно я вам показывала подгляделки того, над чем работаю и вот уже готова показать итог). Этот пост начал рабочую творческую неделю в блоге ScrapTherapy. Надеюсь, вдохновлю вас на создание чего-то сказочного, светлого и немного волшебного). Тем более выбранная мной коллекция бумаги к этому располагает. Коллекция Graphic45 "Once upon a Springtime" мало кого оставляет равнодушным, я тоже не исключение. Очень она мне нравится, особенно тема с кроликами Беатрис Поттер. Коллекция 2010 года пользовалась огромной популярностью, и в 2015 году ее перевыпустили на радость поклонникам Graphic45 Буквально за два вечера сложился у меня вот такой милый и пухлый мини-альбомчик, в который его юная обладательница сможет записывать свои истории, секреты и вклеивать фотографии. Уютный и атмосферный дневничок). Который может служить и украшением девичьей комнаты). Размер альбома 11 см*16 см, толщина корешка 6 см Альбомчик сделан по аналогии вот с этим - mini-book Cafe Parisian. Только на этот раз я сделала альбомчик в тканевой обложке. Хлопок увидела в местном магазине и сразу же купила - он чудесным образом подходит под эту коллекцию бумаги. Ждал своего часа почти два года). В минике 16 разворотов, много места под фотографии разного размера. В основе крафт - картон Palazzo и листы из коллекции В дневничке достаточно места для записей (10 страничек из крафт - картона). И немного оттисков штампами Graphic45. А так же есть кармашки - секретики. Все отвороты и раскладушки закрываются на неодимовые магниты. Это моя любовь со времен осеннего совместного проекта) Для завершения образа волшебного альбомчика-дневника я добавила маленький pop-up элемент на одну из маленьких книжечек внутри альбома) Вчера настолько увлеклась показом альбома на камеру, что забыла показать - помимо этого элемента, книжечка откидывается вниз и там еще умещается 2 фото). Приглашаю вас на просмотр видео - обзора этого альбомчика! Вот такой небольшой сказочный мир получился у меня в порыве вдохновения. Кстати, обложку я оформила благодаря чудесному скетчу апреля, который нарисовала нам Марина-alesanalovesky . Не забывайте присоединиться к этому заданию! Hello! Just wanted to share one of my latest projects, an ATC tag album made with Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime paper! (Truthfully, it has remnants of Baby 2 Bride as well.) Tutorial below--whee! If you're wondering how the heck I got this paper, it's seriously all the leftovers from my original 2011 stash. I was pretty excited--VERY excited--to see that G45 is bringing back this paper line. It means I can replenish this beloved collection! I have another project that I made with the same paper; I'll post photos as soon as that one's done, as it goes hand-in-hand with this one. Supplies Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime 12x12 paper pad Graphic 45 Baby 2 Bride 12x12 paper pad Graphic 45 ATC Tag Album - Kraft The ring from a Graphic 45 Regular Tag Album - Kraft Graphic 45 Staples - Metal Butterflies, Brads, Shabby Chic Keys Spellbinders - 2" Oval die, Decorative Labels Eight die - 2nd largest size Stickles - Aqua, Seafoam, Star Dust, Copper Foam dots Blue & green pearls Instructions Step 1. Remove tags from packaging and place face up. Ink and distress edges; apply some Copper Stickles around edges as well. 2. From Springtime paper pad, remove a blue striped paper (blue butterflies on the reverse side). Cut (6) shapes using the 2nd smallest Decorative Labels Eight die. Lightly ink edges. Step 3. From Springtime pad, fussy cut the following fairy and flower images. Apply Stickles to their wings. Step 4. From Baby 2 Bride, remove paper with light blue stripes (baby images on reverse) and paper with white background and blue vine (blue floral on reverse). The pink stripe paper is on the reverse side of the fairy paper that you cut from. Take a 2" oval Spellbinders die and cut (2) ovals per design. Ink edges. Step 5. Use foam dots to adhere blue stripe mats to the tag base. Adhere oval shapes to blue stripe mats with foam dots. Then, assemble each tag per photos. Graphic 45 Design Team Final Round Projects: ABC Primer Mini Album with Tutorial, Once Upon a Springtime card, and Vintage Stove Recipe box.

It's with a very heavy heart that I'm saying goodbye to the Graphic 45 design team after having been a very proud designer for this amazing company for 2 years. I've definitely had the most wonderful time designing with so many gorgeous products and the people behind this company are also all wonderful, passionate people to work with. But as I have been on this design team for 2 years, I felt that it was time to give new designers the opportunity to be a member of this design team. So yesterday's post on the Graphic 45 blog was my very last one. This is the lay-out that I made especially for this blogpost using the gorgeous Once Upon a Springtime collection. Na 2 jaar is het moment dan daar...mijn laatste blogpost op het Graphic 45 blog kwam gisteren online. En dat vond ik eigenlijk toch best een beetje lastig. Ik heb een geweldige tijd gehad als designer voor Graphic 45. Niet alleen hebben ze prachtige producten, maar ook de mensen achter het merk zijn allemaal schatten en heel gepassioneerd over het werk dat ze doen. Maar na 2 jaar vond ik dat de tijd was gekomen om andere mensen een kans te gunnen bij dit design team te komen. Daarom maakte ik deze lay-out met de mooie Once Upon a Springtime collectie om (in ieder geval voor nu) gedag te zeggen tegen dit geweldige merk. Supply List: Once Upon a Springtime Collector’s Edition Kit This year I went to a famous Dutch amusement park, the ‘Efteling’, with my father and we took a lot of photos of all the fairytale decorations that you can see there. The magical Once Upon a Springtime collection was just perfect for scrapping one of the photos that we took this day. De foto is genomen tijdens mijn trip naar de Efteling met mijn vader deze winter. We hebben vooral in het Sprookjesbos ontzettend veel foto's gemaakt. De Once Upon a Springtime collectie bleek perfect voor het scrappen van één van deze sprookjesachtige foto's, namelijk die van Langnek. On this lay-out I used hardly any embellishments at all, but did a lot of fussy cutting instead. I cut out a lot of flowers, some fairies, a book and a couple of tiny butterflies as well to create a magical scenery on my lay-out. Op mijn lay-out heb ik eigenlijk haast geen embellishments gebruikt. In plaats daarvan ben ik zelf met mijn schaar aan de slag gegaan. Ik heb veel bloemen, een paar elfjes, het grote boek en een aantal schattige vlinders uitgeknipt om een sprookjesachtig tafereeltje mee te creëren. Thank you so much for stopping by! Hi there! As promised, here is my other Once Upon A Springtime project. It's a Graphic 45 ATC Book Box and it goes perfectly with the ATC tutorial I posted recently! Here are some photos along with step-by-step instructions on how you can make your own. :) I know I used a lot of different kinds of flowers, but you can substitute any brand or color as you wish. You could even use different papers from the two paper pads I used. That's what I love about papercrafting - you can really make it your own! Supplies Graphic 45 ATC Book Box Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime 12x12 paper pad Graphic 45 Baby 2 Bride 12x12 paper pad Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Pull Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Keys Graphic 45 Ornate Metal Keyholes Graphic 45 Washi Tape Set Stickles - Star Dust, Copper, Aqua and Sea Foam Handful of teal and white flowers - mine are a mix of Petaloo and Prima Instructions Step 1. Cover all the edges of your book box with washi tape. Cover the entire front, back and spine. Step 2. Cover the inside left of the box as well. Step 3. Cut out these images from your Springtime paper pad. Trim to 4.5" tall. Step 4. Cut out this image. From the same paper you cut this image from, fussy cut "The Fairies" banner. (See step 12) Step 5. Adhere "Once Upon A Springtime" image to the front of your box. Attach green frame with foam dots. Step 6. Fussy cut these images from your Springtime paper pad. (They're all from the main page.) Step 7. Arrange images per photo then adhere. Step 8. From your Springtime pad, take some blue stripe paper and cut a 2.25" x 10.5" piece. Score the top and bottom at 3 1/8". Step 9. Adhere blue stripe paper to the middle of your box. Step 10. Adhere some flowers to the top of your box. Step 11. From Baby 2 Bride paper pad, remove paper with blue floral design (white and blue vine design on the reverse). Measure the inside dimensions of the box, cut paper to match dimensions, then adhere to box. Step 12. Adhere blue frame and images per photo. Step 13. Add Stickles to the fairy's wings as well as the edges of the green frame. Adhere more blue and white flowers. Step 14. Adhere door pulls to the spine.
