#4 Pom Pom Ice Cream Ornaments I wanted to make a felt ice cream ornament (below), but they ended out being sort of complicated and difficult to replicate. Quick tutorial: Make a cardboard cone and glue brown felt around it with a hot glue gun. Make a couple ice cream balls with felt covering fluff. While searching for a craft to do with my Pathfinders and Rangers for the Mother's Day Tray Favours that we wanted to make for the local Sr. Centre I came across this terrific blog and a really cute idea. The Artsy Crafty Babe posted a really simple button flower tutorial. The girls let their creativity shine as they made this great magnets. Here is the WAGGGS Friendship knot SWAPS we made. We used a glue stick to glue them to the paper and keep them together. I am including the Word document with the front & back template and instructions for tying the knot.
