Hey Again! I hope you are having a great Friday! I have another post for a Color Throwdown Challenge. This weeks colors are Dark Teal, Rust and Cream. I loved the colors when I saw the inspiration photo and couldn't wait to play. It was just perfect timing that my order of the last Distress Oxide Inks came in and Rusted Hinge is in that set. I used Hero Arts Fiesta Teal and the Rusted Teal with the Gina K Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set and stencil on some cream cad stock. I used the dots and other accent stamps form the Concord and 9th Wreath Turnabout stamp set. I used Ranger Copper embossing to add some more of a rust color and add some shine. I then took the card base and ran through the Tim Holtz Wood 3D Embossing Folder. I thought it looked to blah with the flat paper. Plus I adore that folder and want to make everything be wood. I used the SSS Big Momma Foam tape to pop onto the card base and added some Nuvo Grey Mist Jewel Drops for some dimension and shine. Thank you so much for visiting and I will see you next time! Cher

This last Monday was the Gina K Merry Monday day and she was using the new Wreath Builder Templates to demonstrate what the new template has to offer. I do not have the new template (yet!) But I managed to make a few cards. Gina showed how to make your own background paper and then to make a small wreath using the new templates...I had to use a pencil to make sure I was lining it up right and to die cut my stitched circle in the correct place...but it worked. I did use a smaller fir stamp for the small wreath with the sentiment. It is from PTI Tinsel & Tags Sprigs set. And the berries my BFF found for me in a PTI stamp set called Sprig Wreath (because it was a small wreath, I needed smaller berries!) And for this one I used lots of elements from the Wreath Builder: Holiday set and for the greens I mostly used Altenew inks (Green Fields Cubed inks) except for one from Catherine Pooler inks...the eucalyptus color, I like that color! The bow is from The Greetery: Fit to Be Tied. Gina did a demo, probably on a Wednesday a few weeks back again using the wreath builder, and I managed to get one card made using that one: Okay, that is it for me, time to close up shop and sit and relax and do some knitting! Heart Hugs, friends!
I hadn’t played with my Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder in a while, so I decided to use it with a stamp that wasn’t necessarily designed for the wreath builder, but as will many, many stamps out there, where there is a will, there’s a cute card project waiting. This cute little heart envelope is […]

Just leave a comment on each stop of the hop for a chance to WIN a $50 Gina K. Designs gift certificate! A total of THREE certificates will be awarded (one for each day of the hop). The winners will be announced over in the StampTV Big News forum a few days after the hop has ended. Today, we are featuring two brand new stamp sets. The first set is illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger and is called Men of Faith. This is a companion set to the previously released Women of Faith set. The second set is illustrated by Rina Krupsky and is called the Mandala Maker. This is Rina's first set and it's AMAZING! Congratulations Rina!! ----------------------------------------- My first card features Melanie's NEW Men of Faith stamp set. This set is full of possibilites and can be combined with so many sets in your collection. For my sentiment I combined it with the "happy" from her Pressed Flowers set to create this fun masculine design. The dies I used are from her Fabulous Label and Fabulous Rose Frame die sets. I love using CAS designs for masculine cards and the new 2018 colors were the perfect punch for this card. My next card features Rina's Mandala Maker stamp set. This set is so fun and can be used by itself or with the Wreath Builder Template. I went for a fun kaleidoscope look after being inspired from Jennifer McGuire video last week using this set. You can find her video HERE. I didn't have a T ruler but found that the "L" piece in the Misti Corners worked. I used a combination of GKD Amalgam Black and Tranquil Teal to create a fun monochromatic design. I did do a little coloring with a Turquoise Prisma color pencil. I love the fun design and paired it with a sentiment from Melanie's new Men of Faith set. Enjoy all the fabulous inspiration as you hop and make sure to comment as you go for a chance to WIN! Hi, crafty friends. I’m back today with several cards featuring THIS wreath builder stencil… I haven’t been this excited about a product in awhile. It is so easy to use and gives such amazing results. I used THIS new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and created several wreath designs with the images… To create the wreath design, I placed the stencil in my MISTI and laid a piece of card stock inside the stencil....Continue reading
Hello All! Can I just say "WOW"!!!!! I am in love with the Gina K "Wreath Builder set"!! I had some time last night to play with it and I must say it is super easy and makes the most adorable wreaths! The templates you get help to make perfect wreaths every time! The sky is the limit with different combo's you can design! I was having so much fun, I couldn't stop and made 6 wreath themed cards! I made 3 of the 4" size and 3 of the 3 3/4" size! I pulled out my Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid papers and used them to back behind the wreaths. I also tried for the first time some of Gina's inks! I love them and will have to get more for sure! I decided to bundle them all together and make a little gift set out of them! These are the 4" size. I added some Nuvo Drops to some of the flower centers as well was using my White & Black Gel Pens. These are the 3 3/4" size. I see many more designs in my future. I can't wait to look through my stamps and see what else I can use to create some wreaths! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Happy Thursday Everyone! There's still time to play along with this months Monthly Mix Challenge over at Gina K. Designs! Mindy Eggen is this months hostess and she is challenging us with "Ombre Ink Blending". You can find all the challenge details HERE. To create my card I pulled out three green inks (Jelly Bean Green, Grass Green, and Fresh Asparagus) along with the Petals and Wings Collection (Stencil, Stamps & Dies). I also used some of the pretty Grass Green Glitz Glitter Gel on the butterfly to add a little sparkle! For the ink blending I started at the bottom with my darkest shade and worked my way up using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and have to agree that they are "Life Changing" and they take the ink beautifully and don't leave any harsh edges like other blending tools I've used in the past. Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects to share with you featuring the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Stencil.I’ve been dying to try a few geometric shapes with this Wreath Builder stenci…
Hello friends. I've been in love with the Gina K Wreath Builder set and the Concord & 9th Turnabout sets since they first came out...they are so much FUN to play around with! Just recently Gina K came out with the Autumn Wreath Builder set, and of course I HAD to have it!! (And I hear there's a Christmas one coming too...yay!!) So anyway, just a quick post to show you a few cards I made using the new Autumn Wreath Builder set, and also a card using the 1st Wreath Builder done in Autumn colors. This was the 1st card I made using the original Wreath Builder set while I was waiting for the Autumn one to arrive. I used mostly Gina K inks and then PTI's Honey Nut ink and cardstock. I love making square cards until it comes time to send them and I have to make a special envelope for it, so for this card I turned it into a A2 size by mounting the square to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base and then added a strip of embossed Honey Nut cardstock and twine to the bottom part of the card. These 3 cards were all done with the Autumn Wreath Builder set using Gina K inks and assorted cardstocks I had on hand. The sentiments on the last 2 are from PTI's Autumn Hills set. The 2nd and 3rd cards were done trying to CASE a card by Jennifer McGuire (HERE) where instead of a wreath, she made more of a swag using an A2 size...I didn't feel very successful until I trimmed them up and finished them off, and now I think they're quite pretty! There definitely is a bit of a learning curve in using these wreath builder sets and where you place your 1st stamp makes all the difference in the outcome of your wreath (or swag). But no matter what you end up with, they all turn out pretty and are so much fun to do!! :0) Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

I had some fun with Gina K Designs products yesterday. I've had the Wreath Builder and Mandala Maker stamp set for a while, but I just got my Obsidian Amalgam ink the other day, and I had to try it. One of the most basic and important tools in a stamper's crafty stash is a good, deep, crisp, black ink that works with the colouring media that you like best. This Obsidian ink is so black, and so crisp! And because it's Gina's Amalgam ink, it works with alcohol markers, watercolours, coloured pencils - everything! And it looks good on its own, too - check out those sentiments! These cards bring me back to my cardmaking beginnings - I love it when you can take one little stamp, create a pattern and make something magical. I love it so much, I did it twice! First, I stamped it with the Obsidian ink: I started in the centre of a 4 inch square panel, and used the Wreath Builder template and one stamp from the Mandala set to create this pattern. I had a smudge on one of the edges so I trimmed the panel with a circle die, and created a black mat. I used the tiny dot stamp to add some colour. And then, you know I just had to do it again, this time with my favourite rainbow of Catherine Pooler inks. Notice no black ink transfer - even on the Limoncello (yellow)! Loving this Obsidian ink! (seriously, it's fun just to say the word - I love how it rolls off the tongue! lol!)

The Mega Wreath Builder Template Mini Wreath Builder Template Mini Wreath Builder Stamp Set Vibrant Blooms & You Make Me Smile ------------------------ My first project is a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square card using the NEW Mega Wreath Builder template. This template is so versatile as you can make larger sized projects. I used the You Make Me Happy stamp set along with the coordinating die set to add a little dimension. After I stamped all my images I colored with copic markers. My next project using the NEW Mega Wreath Builder is a 7"x7" sign that I plan to frame and give to a crafty friend for their craft room. I love the idea that you can create your own custom home decor items with supplies that you already have! It features the Vibrant Blooms, Sentimental Bouquet, and Crafty Friends stamp sets. My final two projects feature the NEW Mini Wreath Builder template. I love that this little guy can create both small sized cards AND tags. The little gift enclosure card I created is 3x3 card and is a perfect size to tuck into a package. For the tag I used the Hero Arts Nesting Tag die set (the second largest tag fits perfectly into the template). Gina K.
