Montpellier Rotunda, Cheltenham One of a series celebrating the many fine examples of Regency architecture in Cheltenham. This listing depicts Montpellier Rotunda, one of Cheltenham's at one time many spa buildings. Standing handsomely in Montpellier at the south end of The Promenade and replacing an earlier wooden structure by Henry Thompson, George Underwood’s 1817 design for a stone spa structure was topped in 1826 by JB Papworth’s dome based on the Pantheon in Rome. Well-to-do visitors to the spa would take the healing waters, dance in the ballroom beneath the dome held aloft by Corinthian columns and promenade in Montpellier Gardens, the pleasure gardens that the spa overlooks. In it’s time a spa and ballroom, a bank, and now The Ivy restaurant, its fine ashlar frontage, colonnade and verdigris dome remind us why Cheltenham is often dubbed Britain's most complete Regency Town. This listing: Digitally hand-illustrated and coloured and giclée printed on fine museum-quality art paper: (300gsm, soft white cotton rag, naturally textured, acid and lignin-free, archival Giclée paper). Double vinyl LP pressing. Original soundtrack to the 2019 motion picture. Features the music of George Michael and Wham. Starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding, directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) and co-written by Oscar winner Emma Thompson (who also stars in the film), the film was inspired by the lyrics to Wham!'s "Last Christmas" and George in general and Thompson presented the project to him and secured his blessing before he passed on Christmas day 2016. The film opens with the entirety of "Last Christmas" and features a total of 15 George Michael and Wham! Songs synched strategically throughout the film including an unreleased song "This Is How (We Want You To Get High)" that is the end-title track. While not about George or his life, the film is inspired by him and there are references to George throughout. This offers an amazing opportunity to create an enormous amount of nostalgia for and consumption for those who grew up with George and, more importantly, introduce him to a brand new audience as this film has been generating a massive amount of buzz and will be one of Universal's priority releases for the holiday season.Track List:Disc: 11.
