Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! We had a blast together but there were no cookouts for us as Mother Nature had other plans. It rained almost the entire holiday weekend. The rain did let up just long enough for us to go out and see the amazing firework display our city puts on every year! June has proved to be a slow month for blogging. I only pimped out four post so without further ado here are my Junes not-to-miss post! First up, I shared the inspiration for my daughters room re-do that I affectionately call the 'Hello Teen' room. She only has a few must haves for her new space and it is coming together nicely! My DIY outdoor curtain rods have been a huge hit. They might be unconventional but very affordable at $8 per rod. They were a cinch to put together and when our outdoor curtains were hung a layer of drama was added to our outdoor living space. We had a lot of fun on Fathers Day celebrating dad, complete with a little interview! It is such a wonderful thing to know that my amazing husband makes our children feel the same way. Happy! We chose a bed for my daughters 'Hello Teen' room! It was a long process but we found many lovely bed options in the process. If you follow me on instagram @chippasunshine then you already know we recently had it delivered. It is perfect! In other blog related news, ChippaSunshine is now on Facebook! Show me some love by checking out my page and liking it here! I will be back later this week to share the before pictures of my daughter room. I have a new recipe I want to try to make this week, if it comes out great I will share it next week on Tuesday. See ya soon!
