It's time again for a fun blog hop featuring products from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalogue! Be sure to click on the link below to hop through the posts by many talented stampers! This card uses the gorgeous Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper and Silver Foil Sheets with a Purple Posy cardstock base. I was cutting some silver frames using the Heirloom Frames dies for another project and was in the midst of tossing the leftover pieces from outside the frames in my trash bin when I thought, "Wait! These skinny frames will look fantastic on the Feels Like Frost DSP!" The snowflakes were also cut from the Silver Foil using the Frosted Frames dies. It may be hard to see but I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the trees for a little bit of glam! Such a simple card! All these products are currently for sale on my website for all you Canadians who don't currently have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Enjoy the next blog post by the fabulous Wendy Lee!

Hi everyone, sharing 4 cards I made using the gorgeous 'Feels Like Frost' Designer Series Paper. My cards to day show the versatility of this paper, it is perfect for Christmas Cards but can also be used for other occasions. I needed to make some more Sympathy cards for the card stash at work. I sell these cards with the proceeds going to the fundraising efforts of our WA Cancer Council Relay for Life Team. I have cut a strip from the top of the piece of Designer Series Paper so that the piece is 11.8cm, I then cut it into two 7.5cm strips. You get two cards from the one piece of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. The strip from the top I cut into a 10cm length and then cut this in half lengthwise to give me two strips for the inside of each of the cards. This is the second card I made with the other piece of the Designer Series Paper. The layout is very simple as the gorgeous paper does all the work. Using the same sketch I made some blue ones for the men folk. I will admit that I had a bit of trouble cutting up this paper pack as it is just so pretty. You get 48 sheets 6" x 6", 4 each of 12 designs. The reverse side of the paper also has beautiful silver and white designs. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Thank you for visiting. This month's edition of the Tour de Freaks is sure to be fun because we are featuring fancy folds, gift tags, or gift packaging, along with some sneak peeks from the upcoming Holiday Catalog! If you landed here from Melissa's blog, The Stamp Doc, welcome! Just follow the links on each blog to go to the next stop on the tour. I knew immediately what I wanted to do when this theme came up. It's been so bloomin' HOT here that I can't wait for cooler weather and, dare I say it....SNOW?! We got slighted in the snow department last year, and I'm hoping this year will be different. So, with that in mind, pairing the new Snowman Season stamp set with the gorgeous Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP was a no-brainer! If you have never made a Double Z-Fold card, you really must try it. It's so quick and easy and packs a little wow, too! Start with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock for the card base and score it at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2", then fold in a z-fold. Then do the same to another piece (1" x 11" used here). Flip it around, add your DSP or stamping and adhere it to the card base. So simple! The snowman scene was colored with Seaside Spray and Purple Posy Combo Stampin' Blend Markers to coordinate with the Feels Like Frost DSP. Some Sparkle Glimmer Paper snowflakes were cut with the Frosted Frames Dies, which are part of the Feels Like Frost Suite. Now hop on over to Julie's blog, Julie's Stamping Spot to see what confection she has cooked up!
Here it is ~ the first Sneak Peek of the new 2018 Holiday Catalog!! And all this week you'll be seeing new products! Yippee! I'm starting off with my FAVORITE bundle in the catalog, the First Frost Bundle! The Catalog goes live on September 5th, so start making your list as you see my sneak peeks :-) This set is SO pretty. Look at these flowers! Here I've stamped them in Flirty Flamingo ink, and the way the stamp is made gives the light and dark shading. The vine stamp has similar shading. Pretty, right? The Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies
