Foxes are everywhere at the moment. I have seen them on home decor, invitations, babies wear and lots of other places. So how cool is it, that Stampin' Up! are so on trend with the A Little Foxy Product Suite. Have a look at some of what you can make with it. Because this suite is so stinkin cute, I just had to have it. A bit like most of the catalogue really ! Anyway, I finally had a chance to play with the stamp set from this suite the other day, and this is what I made. Just something very simple. I used the Foxy Friends stamp set and the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack. That paper is so cute. And the amount of different animals I have seen made with the stamp set is amazing. This is the stamp set. Foxy Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set 141549 Price: $47.00 What does the fox say? She says that you’re invited to a forest party! This stamp set lets you make foxes, raccoons, wolves, squirrels, rabbits, deer, and the forest to boot. Furry forest friends are calling! This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want. Photopolymer stamps * Are totally transparent for perfect image placement. * Have just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time. * Cling like crazy to our clear blocks so you don't have to worry about slipping. * Save space—you need only one set of blocks for all your photopolymer stamps (blocks sold separately). * Come packaged in cases with images on the spine for easy storage and quick reference. Quantity: 29 photopolymer stamps Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): b, c, d, h And check out all these animals that some clever person has come up with. I have saved this image from a Pin on Pinterest that was pinned by Stamp Spectacular with Desiree Spenst - Stampin' Up! Demonstrator All these cuties were created using the Fox Builder Punch. And how clever are some people, this one is so now. Hopefully I will get to have a play with the punch soon. What a fantastic product suite this is. So versatile. And don't forget that during July you can earn vouchers to spend in August. Here is how it works - You’ll get a $9 coupon (via email) by spending $90 in July. You can use the coupons in August on any item you want! The best part is that you can earn another coupon for every $90 you spend. Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day. Cheers, Narelle

I don't do a lot of punch art, but every so often I love to get a bit creative with punches. I had an old punch art book that I used for inspiration for these, and just adapted the designs to suit the Stampin' Up! punches I own. Here's a cute little hound: And his friend the fox: I'm happy to let you know what punches I used. Just leave me a comment if you'd be interested in that information! Edited to Add: Here's a picture that has all of the pieces I used to put together the little fox. They are all Stampin’ Up! Punches that I have used, and I used the colour Cajun Craze as my main colour. Hopefully you’ll be able to figure out how to put the little fox together from that! Unfortunately I don’t have the little puppy anymore, and silly me didn’t write down what punches I used. Going from the picture, I think I used the Word Window for the ears, feet and eyepatch. The eyes are the candle flame from the cupcake punch, and the clouds are the top of the cupcake. Circles for the head and body (I think 1-3/8” and 1-3/4”?). For the muzzle, I think I used the Heart punch and cut off the top of one of the ‘bumps’ of the heart and rounded it off. For the tail, I think I sliced a sliver off the side of the heart. I can’t for the life of me remember how I did the nose or tongue, but I’m sure you can work something out!

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today. Today's make was totally inspired by my lovely Aussie friend Marelle Taylor. As soon as I saw Marelle's card I knew I had to have a go, you can see Marelle's original post HERE. Thanks for the inspiration Marelle. We made this card at my Foxy Class last Saturday and also at my Coffee and Card event this week, although I made a slight amendment to the design and the ladies didn't tie a bow, they simply had a piece of ribbon behind the circles. I did make it easier for the ladies at Coffee and Card and I punched out all the little pieces and popped them in various dishes, just to make it all flow a bit easier seeing as I only have the one punch. For me the thing that makes the mouse stand out is taking the time to ink around the edges with a sponge and the co-ordinating ink, it really does make it pop more. I do hope you like this card and if you have the Fox punch why not have a go?

Friday means new challenge day & this week the lovely Patrice has asked us to Just add paper piecing. A bit tricky to say 3 times fast but a fun technique. I decided to paper piece a sunburst pattern landscape scene for this bear family & their new cub. After a few recent bear projects you may be thinking I have a bit of a bear obsession & I think you're may be right. You might be surprised that my bear family are actually made with our new fox builder punch, part of the Foxy Friends stamp set & punch bundle. Cool, I know! Here's a closer look. I've been playing around making lots of different animals with the fox builder punch & found this gorgeous baby card by Nicole Kunzig- oh the cute! This is what I used to bear-ified the fox. You can see & order all the punches in the supply list at the bottom of this post. Adult bears - head - trim pointed ears into curves. - hand-cut muzzle - Punch nose - Body - Stamp paws (Foxy Friends set) & punch with medium owl eye circle (owl punch) - stamp eyes - (Foxy Friends set) * Mum bear also has a little flower on her ear (tree builder punch) Baby Bear - head - trim pointed ears into curves - smaller than adult bear - stamp eyes & nose (love these face stamps!) - Body piece - cut off lowest curve to make smaller body - Stamp paws on body But back to the paper piecing challenge. I used pool party, marina mist, pear pizzazz & wild wasabi dsp's from the Subtles 12x12 stack to make a sunburst landscape scene for my bears. Since I needed the text print to line up I used my my sunburst template - find it here. I cut the blue pieces & the template together & green pieces together after lining up the text. I sponged all the edges in crumb cake (& made a slight boo boo with soft suede - close your pads after use, people!). I added some vellum in front to soften the effect to help the bears take centre stage. Btw, did you notice my little mountains? I thought my bears needed some rocky mountains (since I always associate real bears with Canada) so I stamped the Foxy Friends tree image in crumb cake, trimmed it & added a tail tip punch piece & voila - snow capped mountain! And the bush behind the adult bears - from Thoughtful Branches - coming in August! Anyway, that's all I need to say. I hope you enjoyed my paper pieced & punched card. Head over to the Just Add Ink blog, see all the team's fab pieced projects too & try some piecing of your own. We'd love to see what you make. Thanks for visiting today & always. Leave a comment if you have any questions or need anything else. I'll leave you with a collage pic to pin if you'd like. Hope to see you here again soon.
