“You cannot differentiate when you never fight. Fighting is also a tool for differentiation, for having two people be able to breed and grow inside a relationship. If all you try to do is avoid any friction, any conflict, and merge into one, then there is a relationship of two halves, not of two hol

At long last I am sharing some glimpses of my finished 2014 photo book! I've actually had it since before the summer but for some reason I kept forgetting to photograph it while it was still light outside. I created the pages for this book during the spring, after I finished my 2015 book, so this is my most recent one. I actually like it a bit better than the 2015 one because I'd developed my style a bit more by the time I made it and I included more journalling. I wish I could share more than just a handful of pages but at 195 pages this book is my longest to date, so there is no way I could fit it all into one entry. The books I've completed so far are some of my most prized possessions and I'm looking forward to adding my 2016 book to them! Technical details: Company: Blurb. Size: 12 x 12. Number of pages: 195. Design software: I make all the pages in Photoshop and create the book through Bookify on the Blurb webpage. Paper: Matte premium. Cover: Wrap-around.
My 2016 photobook is the eighth book I've ordered through Blurb and the third Project Life photobook I completed in the span of a year. You can take a look at my 2014 book here and my 2015 book here. My 2016 book is my favourite so far because it is filled with so many little details from my life in 2016 and I just know that I will love looking through it for years to come. It was the first book I completed pages for regularly throughout the year and at 231 pages it is also my thickest book so far - the previous ones have been just under 200. One of the things I love the most about memory keeping using Digital Project Life is that I never have to limit myself when it comes to the number of pages. Obviously I couldn't share photos of the entire book but you can see all the pages in digital format under this tag. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about my memory keeping process - as you can probably tell it is one of my favourite subjects to talk about :) Technical details: Company: Blurb. Size: 12 x 12. Number of pages: 231. Design software: I make all the pages in Photoshop and create the book through Bookify on the Blurb webpage. Paper: Matte premium. Cover: Wrap-around.

The highlight of February so far has been receiving my 2015 photo book in the mail. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Out of the six yearly photo books I've completed so far this one's definitely my favourite, all thanks to Project Life. Now I'm even more motivated to finish my 2014 book so I can have that printed as well, so that's what I've been working on these past few weeks. Technical details: Company: Blurb. Size: 12 x 12. Number of pages: 193. Design software: I make all the pages in Photoshop and create the book through Bookify on the Blurb webpage. Paper: Matte premium. Cover: Wrap-around.

Yesterday I finally finished my August pages so now I am working on September. I decided to celebrate by taking some time out of my regularly scheduled memory keeping to share the next instalment of my 2019 pages here, namely those documenting the month of May :) First spread of the month. Journalling card from the Everyday Edition and calendar card from here. The rest is from the For Like Ever kit by Paislee Press which was my go-to kit this month. A spread with a 6x12 insert documenting Cleo at seven months. All products from For Like Ever. A visit from my mum and sister documented using more For Like Ever. A spread about a day when we visited my mother in law. A little bit of For Like Ever but also the Summer Manifesto kit as well as a journalling card from the Everyday Edition. A bit more about the month in general. Products from For Like Ever and the Everyday Edition. A spread about a day we spent at my sister's summer house. Products (I think you can guess by now) from For Like Ever. Here I documented a very special day - my first Mother's Day. Products are mostly For Like Ever with a journalling card from the Everyday Edition and "happy day" filler card from Project 52 Fresh. Final spread of the month, documenting more about the month in general. Journalling card from the Everyday Edition and the rest from Summer Manifesto. Project Life is a memory keeping system created by Becky Higgins. You can learn more about it here. Digital page protectors by Valorie Wibbens.
