Hi everyone, sharing some cards I made using the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I matted the Laser-Cut piece onto a piece of Basic Black and then adhered this to a Very Vanilla card base. I love the finished look of the Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Gold together. I decided to make these cards suitable for a wedding or other occasion where 'Congratulations' is the appropriate message for the day or event. The stamp set I have used is Peaceful Moments, this is one of my favourite stamp sets for sentiments. Thank you for visiting. My tutorial today is for a Forever Gold thanks card. This time I'm using separate leaves from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper.

I wanted to show you how you can use the items from the Forever Greenery Suite to create something totally different thanks to the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I used the Story Label for the sentiment and embossed it in gold. The strips are the outside of the Forever Gold Laser-cut paper. I love that you don't waste a thing. This Set is So Beautiful! So many different options to choose from. I used the New In Color Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow. Also, used the Greenery Embossing Folder. Stitched Shapes Square and Circle. Forever Gold Specialty DSP This Card was really pretty easy to make It has a Whisper White Cardbase, Misty Moonlight layer 2 1/4 x 5 1/2" run through the Embossing Machine with the Greenery Embossing Folder (leaves) I stamped the left side of the front of the card using Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow Ink Pads. . Have a square layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock 2 7/8 x 2 7/8" with the largest stitched square shape die and then topped with the second smallest stitched circle stamped in Misty Moonlight. Then I stamped a few of the leaves and cut out using the matching dies and attached to the bottom right of the square. Added a sprig of Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty paper (leaves) Also stamped the Envelope to match the front of the card! Pairing up the Stitched Rectangle Frames with the Forever Gold Laser-cut card panels is such a great discovery!! When I saw Kylie demonstrate this idea I knew I had to try it!! While the black frame is super striking with the Just Jade and Mint Macaron, I also wanted to try other color combos. So I also used (clockwise) Night of Navy with Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue, and Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party. I immediately loved the idea of this card with the Stitched Rectangle Frames when I saw a video by Kylie Bertucci.

New 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog Sneak Peek!! The Forever Greenery designer paper and Forever Gold Laser-cut paper will be available on June 3rd with the debut of the new catalog! Add them to your Shopping List HERE! After cutting up 3 sheets of the Forever Greenery designer paper to 4' x 5-1/4', I cut a couple more sheets at 4x4 to make square cards. Each card has a stamped greeting and some of the Forever Gold laser-cut embellishments. I love that you can flip them upside down and use the white side if you wish (see below).

I have been doing a good amount of playing with the new having some fun with the new Forever Greenery Suite. I just love all the products in the suite and will be spending the next week or so showing them off. Here is today's card… The card base is Pear Pizzazz cardstock that is cut 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. I then added a layer of Shaded Spruce that measured 4 x 5 ½” to the center of the card base. Next, I added one of the many beautiful Gold Laser-Cut pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, let me tell you these pieces make your card for you. (Note: be careful applying your adhesive because these pieces are pretty fine). I stamped my sentiment from the Forever Fern Stamp set onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink and die cut it using one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels dies. I added some little speckles (one of the stamps in the set) right onto it with Pear Pizzazz ink just to add a little something extra. I wrapped a little piece of the Reversible Ribbon and a little of the gold twine from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack under the sentiment and then popped the whole thing up on dimensionals. I love how classy it looks and using the Gold Laser-Cut paper made it super simple to create. I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it. The Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Paper pack has some really fun and glamorous elements in very shiny gold. I do love them but I have to confess I’m not a huge user of bling, so I was keen to explore other options. This week I have several tips for using these fabulous elements, looking beyond the obvious. For starters, the back is white, which gives you a crisp effect, but how about colouring them? The surface is shiny, so your water-based inks and markers won’t work, but it CAN be done. All you need are some Stampin’ Blends. I made a short video to show this technique. To get an ombre effect, I used three shades of green: Light Granny Apple Green, Light Old Olive and Dark Old Olive.
