A self-taught designer, Mathieu Challieres first exercised his creative talents in advertising. Specializing in film writing, he won awards at Cannes and spent most of his career with Publicis. At the dawn of the 2000s, he left advertising for the sake of independence and started creating objects. A hobby that has always occupied him in his spare time. His training as an art historian (he is a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre) has enabled him to acquire a whole vocabulary of forms that he spontaneously puts to use in his creations. Launched in 2006, the Volières are looking nothing alike what was created before. Now iconic, they are sold in about 40 countries worldwide. They are handmade in France, in Paris. The placement of the birds is always similar but the choice of colours varies according to the mood of the moment. Airy and cheerful, we never tire of their poetry. Please note that each lamp is unique, featuring birds in the same positions but with varying colors on each lamp.

“Client denied suicidal ideation.” “Client reports suicidal ideation but lacks plan or intent.” “Client reported only mild suicidal thoughts.” Many clinicians use these phrases in their clinical notes – and then say nothing else about suicide risk. Such minimalism is not good practice, for either the clinician or the client. Good documentation enables the therapist to think through his or her clinical decisions in writing and to maintain a record of treatment that other professionals working with the client (now or later) can see. These aspects of documentation clearly benefit the client. Documentation also, if done right, protects the therapist

If anyone has questions, be sure to ask them in the comment section and I will respond. I had a request for discussion about markers and will be posting my thoughts later this week.
