Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans for Katya and Sam’s initial wedding celebration and they were brought to cancelling their wedding one month out from their intended big day. However, this dream duo simply reassessed their plans, and came to realise that what was important...
Woodsy fall micro wedding at Gather in Midlothian, Virginia. Chase and Brian tied the knot in an intimate beautiful ceremony in Richmond, Virginia featuring a boho arch and wedding decor.
Today’s styled shoot is so colorful + fun. Inspired by strong, beautiful shades of blue, Sharon of Knot Just Flowers conceptualized a setting that walks the line of folksy, bohemian, earthy + eclectic. We’re loving all the brass + texture, and the Blue Agave tequila cocktail you’ll see in a sec would make a perfect last minute drink idea...

Green wedding florals over peonies. Monstera leaves, sword fern, aspidistra, dusty miller, it's a parade of stars. Why not check them out!
For The Big Fake Wedding Louisville, think 1970s California Hotel Bar redefined. We asked our vendors to step outside the box for this one and they honestly showed us one better. The tables were filled with interesting layered patterns, bright colors, and tropical elements. You’ll be left drooling after seeing the stunning ceremony backdrop, retro head […]

This dreamy Charlottesville, Virginia wedding was one of my FAVORITES this year!!! When Jessica and I first talked about her organic, gold-infused, candlelit, winter wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards near Charlottesville, I knew it was going to be absolutely breathtaking! Jessica was the sweetest bride to work with, and being an interior designer herself, has impeccable taste and an amazing vision for her wedding- I literally was counting the days until her gorgeous day!! She dreamt of a romantic soiree, with lots of lush greenery and pops of white flowers!! SWOON! To compliment that, I used anemones, white garden roses, veronica, ranunculus and a variety of greenery, including eucalyptus! This was such a wonderful way to end my 2016 wedding season, and I truly enjoyed every minute of their wedding, including working with an amazing vendor team! Enjoy these photos, taken by Audrey Rose Photography and scroll to the bottom to see the rest of the dream team that brought Jessica and John's wedding to life!

Last month, I was so excited to design the flowers for Hope Taylor Photography's workshop styled shoot, with some of my favorite vendor friends (who also happen to be my friends in real life!!) It was SUCH a fun couple of days, filled with lots of laughter, hugs and hard work, and I love the way this French Blue Southern Wedding editorial came together for the workshop! I don't typically get to design with a blue color palette, so I was really excited to challenge myself and work to bring out more blue hues in the flowers, and those anemones with the dark navy centers were the stars of the show!!
As an event designer, florist and photographer, Michelle of Lillywhite Photography has a lot of perspetive when it comes to the big day. Noticing that a lot of her couples are not able to spend intimate time with each other at the wedding, she dreamt up this vision for how couples could enjoy more down time in the midst of...
