Natasja Lykke is a Danish designer and artist based in Copenhagen. She has a MA in communication design from Design School Kolding in Denmark and has previously worked in the fields of graphic design and art direction. The Archway series is inspired by historical buildings and spaces. The tone-in-tone colors trick the eye to wander and explore every corner and curve of the artwork. Viewers can slowly discover the sense of space created and diminished by the light and shadow cast on each individual work. Each work is one-of-a-kind, with its own subtle nuances, textures, and intricacies throughout. Close-up texture shots display other similar works to give collectors the idea of the textural details. Signed on verso.
