Self-Portrait 1887 oil on panel 34.9 x 26.7 cm This is part 3 of a 5-part post on the drawings of Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890). Vincent van Gogh's more than 1,100 drawings remain comparatively unknown, although they are among his most ingenious and striking creations. He engaged drawing and painting in a rich dialogue, which enabled him to fully realise the creative potential of both means of expression. For more notes on van Gogh's drawings see part 1. For earlier works see parts 1 - 2 also. Vincent af Klintskog is one of the recurring characters in Young Royals. He is portrayed by Nils Wetterholm. To be added. Sitting with Nils during the choir performance in honor of Wilhelm's first day at Hillerska, Vincent rudely interrupts and asks Simon to sing louder to make fun of him. After, Vincent tells August that it is practically impossible to get any alcohol on school premises. He further shows his distaste for Simon by laughing with Nils about a time he introduced himself. This "Vincent's Book & Blossoms" design features a digital illustration I drew inspired by Vincent van Gogh's oil painting "Blossoming Almond Branch in a Glass with a Book" which he painted in 1888. This is one of my very favorite paintings, so I also had to include my very favorite van Gogh quote of the other side of this tote. I think we can all agree with Vincent when he said, "Books and reality and art are the same kind of thing for me." With my background in fashion design, I had a ton of fun creating these bookish pieces! Now we can all match and wear our book nerdiness with pride :) This classic unisex jersey short sleeve tee fits like a well-loved favorite and is perfect for wearing while you read! This garment is made from soft breathable cotton. The collar is ribbed knit, so it retains its shape even after washing, and the shoulders have taping for better fit over time. Finally, it also has dual side seams which will hold the garment's shape for longer. * 100% Airlume combed and ringspun cotton (fiber content may vary for different colors) * Light fabric * Retail fit * Tear away label * Runs true to size These garments are printed on demand, meaning they are freshly printed with each order. This also means that I don't handle the shipping myself, but if you have any problems with your order, please send me a message! I'll be happy to help in any way I can! Happy Reading :)
