Hi, My name is Michelle and I'm a qualified nail technician. I began making press on nails during lockdown and enjoyed it so much I decided to keep doing it! My nails are 100% handmade by me. Each set takes typically 60 to 90 minutes, I am a perfectionist and I do not accept anything less than perfect! Now, about the nails... You've seen my nails, you love them and you want to buy them, but what about sizing my nails? I have 3 ways that you can measure your nails for your order. I will list them in order of accuracy and in my opinion ease also. 1, The first way you can size your nails is by purchasing a sizing kit from my shop. Order the sizing kit in the shape of nail you are going to purchase. All sizing kits are sent first class delivery the day that I receive the order. If you order a sizing kit before 3.30pm Monday to Friday it will be posted that day first class. Typically an order takes me 48 to 72 hours to get out so you wont impact your waiting time if you order a sizing kit and your nails at the same time. 2, The second way you can measure your nails is by taking a picture of your hand with a coin (UK COINS ONLY) a couple of centimetres away from your middle finger. Make sure all four fingers are in the frame. Do your thumb separately as the angle of your thumb makes it difficult to see the whole thumb in the same picture as your fingers. You will need to do this for both hands so 4 pictures would need to be sent in total. A full tutorial of this method is available to watch on YouTube by typing "How to use a coin for nail measurements" in the search bar. 3, The third way you can measure is by using a soft tailors tape to measure your nails. Measure at the widest part of your nail bed. Make sure you tuck the measuring tape right down the side of your nail up against the sidewall. Measure the space between the sidewalls in mm. Make a note of the mm for each thumb and finger in mm and add this in the custom section of your booking. This method is time consuming at can be difficult to get right. Please look up a YouTube tutorial by typing "How to measure your nails the right way". Typically most people measure incorrectly and so far 100% of my exchanges due to size have been because of inaccurate measuring. Exchanges incur an exchange fee. Once you have your custom measurements you can choose "Custom" in the sizing section of the sizes drop down and write your measurements in the customisation box at check out or drop me a message with your measurements after. The extra small, small, medium, large and extra large are an "average" set size pre determined by the industry. These are the most commonly used sizes however if you have no idea what size you are I wouldn't recommend guessing. Nail sizes are determined through genetics and your individual nail matrix so if you have a small frame it does not mean you will have slim fingers and vice versa. I have been 15 stone in my life and I have been 9 stone in my life, my nails stayed the same size. Pre set sizes are as follows Extra Small 4,8,7,8,9 Small 3,7,6,7,9 Medium 2,6,5,6,8 Large 0,5,4,5,7 Extra Large 0,4,3,4,7 Now your nails. My nails are firm, they do not bend or break and the polish does not peel away. I have a stringent tried and tested process that I have been working on for over 4 years. Your nails are prepped and finished to a very high standard. The products I use are professional brands that you need to be qualified to purchase. I use Home of Nail Art (HONA) which is a professional only brand that is high quality and hyper allergenic. All of my nail products are professional brands. I am working on making more length options available but at the moment the pictured lengths and shapes are all I offer. Every order comes with a free application kit which includes the following: Cuticle stick Nail adhesive tabs Nail glue x2 Alcohol wipes Nail file Nail buffer If you lose or damage a nail you can order a replacement nail from my shop in my listings. If you're in a rush for your nails you can rush your order also available in my listings. Rush my order also upgrades delivery from 48 hour tracked to 24 hour tracked (no guarantee they will be received within these time frames) I accept exchanges if you pay the exchange set fee and you return the nails in the same condition you received them.
