It is a "lost plate" (reduction woodcut), which is available in black/ochre and in black/phthalo green. I work in a small printing workshop in Bonn and almost exclusively make portraits of writers with whom I have a special (reading) relationship. I work in the high (wood and linocut) and gravure (etching) process.
