This is a caged under-bust corset pattern with a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 8 -20 (US 4 - 16). There is a reduction of 3'' at the waist applied to the standard sizes. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES! This design is meant to be worn over clothing due to the caged nature of its construction - if worn against the skin flesh can 'puff' out through the 'windows'. Although this is something to be aware of, bobbinet, lace, and certain types of fabric can be added to the inside to prevent this happening and retain the flesh, however please note that this pattern does not include a pattern for this extra layer. The pattern consists of templates with indicative points to ensure optimum bone spacing and precision measurement. Note: this is not a beginner's entry level corset design! The overriding factor with this design is precision – ensuring facing panels don’t show from behind, and that you have evenly spaced boning channels and perfect stitching along those boning channels. It is however a beautiful, comfortable and unique design. A 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, add 1’’ (25.4mm) to the edge of each panel 7 (the actual measurements of the corset will therefore be 2'' smaller than those detailed in the table below). The corset length measures 34cm at the centre front and 36cm at the back. There are two options for the bottom line. This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen or shorten if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset! Note - corset length is important to prevent the bones buckling and ballooning when sitting as they 'float' around the rib cage and hips in a different manner to standard 'fixed' corsets. Measurements in cm (inches) UK 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 USA 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 Continental (Europe) 36 38 40 42 44 46 48 Under-bust 74 (29'') 79 (31") 84 (33") 89 (35") 94 (37") 99 (39'') 104 (41'') - measured at 4''/10cm above the waistline Natural Waist 64 (25'') 67 (27") 74 (29") 79 (31") 84 (33") 89 (35'') 94 (37'') - non-cinched measurement - take off 3'' for final corset measurement Hip 81 (32") 86 (34") 91 (36") 97 (38") 102 (40'') 107 (42'') 112 (44'')- measured at 6''/ 15cm below the waistline Please take a look at my website where I have lots of information about corset making. Please remember that this pattern can't be used for commercial profit (such as a line of ready to wear corsets) - use to your hearts content, but only for yourself and clients!

Hello Food Bloggie Friends, i know ive been MIA for the past couple weeks, ive been busy with work and some personal issues, and blogging seems to be the last thing on my mind lately. This will be my last post ; a goodbye post, tagged along with an interesting sweet-treat (i mean c`mon this IS still a food blog, right? haha). But this isnt permanent, who knows when ill be back! maybe ill get over this bump in the road and come back as soon as next week!, so this isnt fare-well yet. im sorry ive missed out on all of your delicious food posts, i wish i had the time or the energy to look through the weeks and weeks of amazing food ive been missing out on.. but instead i will leave you with a simple, unique and surprisingly delicious recipe. Ready to find out what it is? - Cue the drum-roll maestro! - .... CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON ! now .. before you throw-up a little, the pairing of "salty & sweet" is not an alien combination. As food-bloggers you know how often these two flavors can combine into something magical. if youre curious as to how it tastes... TRY IT ! honestly, its not as bad as you might think, its actually quite interesting and i found it fun to nibble on. i made a bowl-full of these and although my family was a little skeptical to try it out, once they got past the first crunchy, salty, sweet bite, they automatically went for seconds. & honestly.. who DOESNT love bacon? or even CHOCOLATE for that matter?! Heres how i did it : Chocolate Covered Bacon Recipe ; - "Thick Cut" slices of bacon - Chocolate Candy Melts. To keep the bacon from curling, place a few strips of bacon on a large plate, with a few sheets of paper towels. Place them in the microwave and cook them in 40 second intervals, being careful to flip them ; so the edges dont curl inward. Youre looking for fully cooked, CRISPY bacon slices. otherwise, imagine biting into a squishy fatty piece of bacon covered in chocolate... ew . Cut the bacon into 1.5 - 2 inch pieces. *Tip : be sure to press on paper towels to soak up excess oils Melt a small bowl of Chocolate Candy melts in the microwave. (Careful to not burn the chocolate, i found that it helps to let it melt in the microwave in 30 second sessions & to stir and repeat until completely melted.) Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil & stir until its completely incorporated into the chocolate. Have fun dipping ! ( i dipped my bacon pieces about 1/3 of the way, i think showing a little peek of the bacon underneath gave it a bit more character) Lay them out on a cookie sheet to harden. *Tip ; to prevent them from drying on stuck, cover your cookie sheet with some plastic wrap & then place the bacon pieces on top to dry, it'll be much easier to peel them off & Theyre done already ! i used a bit of the extra chocolate i had to dip a few strawberries as well, yummmm. SO.. my last message, My sleepy doggy; Coco & i will miss all of you. who knows! once in awhile i might just pop in & check out some of your lovely recipes & ill be sure to leave you guys encouraging and awe-struck comments. Dont forget about me! (: love you all!

I am a day late in posting this since yesterday was national pancake day. I made this syrup after eating at a bakery, Kneaders. They serve french toast with a cinnamon syrup and it is the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. We go there on special occasions now and I look forward to each and every one. They sell the syrup at the bakery so I looked at the ingredient list. These are the same ingredients and I think the results are very similar to Keanders syrup. This syrup will turn your pancakes or waffles into something extra yummy and cinnamon roll-ish. Cinnamon Syrup 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/4 cup water 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium heat stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in evaporated milk.
