Hello, hello, hello! Happy Friday! Welcome and thank you for joining me on my blog today. I've just had a very well deserved and much needed Christmas Break with my family and some time away camping in our caravan. Lots of fun in the sun, stand up paddle boarding, swimming in the lake, swimming at the beach, boating, knee-boarding, 4WD, reading a few books and lots of all-round summer fun! Was so good to be away in the great outdoors of Australia. Gosh I love summer! Back to reality now. Over at Just Add Ink, to kick off the first challenge for the year we are commencing 2024 with a blog hop to go with the new challenge. Our theme for this hop and the challenge is Just Add In #685 | Just Add Flowers. This is such a fabulous theme to kick start the Just Add Ink year! Every one loves flowers, well nearly everyone. I'm a bit of a sucker for a floral stamp and the new Enduring Beauty Bundle with coordinating masks in the Stampin' Up! 2024 Jan - April Mini Catalogue caught my attention at first glance. Super pretty right? I've used the stamp and masks on Crumb Cake cardstock today for a different look. I do love colouring images on Crumb Cake cardstock as I love how the colours of the ink look different as opposed to using Basic White cardstock. All three cards that I've made for you today are all the same except for the colour combinations to colour the flowers. What's your favourite? I do love them all, of course, but the purple one is really standing out to me as my favourite. Colours used Flowers - Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo and Berry Burst Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Colours used Flowers - Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Colours Used Flowers - Fresh Fresia and Highland Heather Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow To create the cards I stamped the floral image on with Versamark ink and then used Black embossing powder for the image outline. Then over the floral image I layered over the Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks to layer on the colour using Blending Brushes. Each mask has detailed floral designs that add depth and colour to your paper crafting projects. Use one mask alone to add a subtle accent. Or you can layer them to create a rich floral image of your own design. The masks definitely make colouring an image so quick and easy thats for sure. I used three colours on the 'pink' card only due to the fact that I thought the Bubble Bath was too light against the Berry Burst so I went in again over the Bubble Bath with Flirty Flamingo to achieve a better contrast. All cards were finished off with a drawn border, Crumb Cake Splatters, Linen Thread, a Happy Birthday sentiment and some embellishments. What colours do you think would work together when using the Enduring Beauty masks? Next up on the blog hop is fabulous Nikki Spencer with her amazing creation. Hello there stamping friends! Happy Friday! Welcome and thanks for joining me on my blog today. Today we over at Just Add Ink have a fabulous inspiration picture challenge - Just Add Ink #696 | Inspiration Picture Challenge. What a beautiful inspiration picture!!! Wouldn't a piece of that cake be delicious? While at a quick glance at the inspiration picture you would think that all you would get out of the picture is some cake inspiration but actually there's the colours, the fruit, the flowers. Lots to get you inspired. The colours and the flowers were what caught my eye and that is the focus of my card for today for the Just Add Ink Design Team. I've used the Enduring Beauty stamp set for a bold birthday card. I've stamped the image on Water colour paper and coloured the image in using Water Painters. I know there are coordinating masks that go with this stamp set, and they do make colouring this image in so much quicker, but I wanted to try and colour it with the Water Painters for a different look. I used Gorgeous Grape and Pretty Peacock for my colours. I don't normally use Pretty Peacock to colour leaves but the colour goes so well with Gorgeous Grape that I thought I should use it. Makes for a beautiful colour combination! I used the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder to add to the floral look and then finished the card off with some Linen Thread, Black & Vanilla Large Check Ribbon and the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems. the embossed sentiment comes from one of the new stamp sets from the New 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, Unbounded Beauty. Go and check out the design teams take on this week's Inspiration Picture at the Just Add Ink Blog and then come and join in this week's sketch fun! We are back with our first Stamping Symphony InstaHop of 2024 today, sharing our favourite new items in the January - April Mini Catalogue. I was really excited to see the Enduring Beauty products being offered: a stamp set with coordinating decorative masks (stencils) and dies. So much fun to play with! I started using just the stamp set for my project today, and then at the end of this post I'll share an example that uses the stencils for a totally different look: At first glance this card might seem very simple, but with closer inspection you'll see that I added a ton of dimension and texture. I stamped multiple copies of the floral image and fussy cut different sections, layering them with dimensionals. Here are top- and side-view images of how that looks: I used the new Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to a white panel, and matted that on a thin layer of black cardstock. I also matted a plain piece of white cardstock onto black, which showcased the contrast. I offset all of my images to the far left of my card base (5.5" x 8.5", scored at 4.25"). My sentiment, from the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set, is heat embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock, which I tucked in behind my floral layers. Some splattered Basic Black Blends and Basic Rhinestones finishes the front of this very special card. On the inside I added a cut off strip of the stamped and splattered floral image, and my favourite Paper Pumpkin sentiment. I find myself going to that stash over and over these days, there is such a variety of fonts and sentiments in those kits! Last week I shared this project on my Instagram page, which used all of the items in the Enduring Beauty lineup. I stenciled the floral in Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst, and the leaves in Lost Lagoon, just building up the inks. Because I was matting this on black cardstock I die cut the leaves and then coloured in the white edges with my Black Blends marker. I also heat embossed the floral image across the background in white for a custom look. Thank you for checking out my project today. Please head to Instagram to see what the rest of the team has for you from the new mini catalogue! Happy Crafting, Barb

I used the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set bundle to create a thank you card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.
Hello friends, I guess this card is a variation from yesterday’s card but a totally different look. I used Designer Paper yesterday so with today’s card I have stamped the image in the 2 corners. I used a butterfly on both cards. I stamped part of the image from the Enduring Beauty stamp set (#162670) on the 2 corners, onto Basic White card (#159228) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the image are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Bubble Bath (#161675), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers. I punched the corners of the card with the Very Best Trio punch (#159878). The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Crushed Curry card (#131288) and attached to the Basic White base card. I coloured the Butterfly from the Paper Butterfly Accents (#162612) using Blending Brushes (#153611) with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666), Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends (#154843) for the feelers. The butterfly was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut very fine pieces to fit under the body. The gold gems from the Blooming Pearls (#162238) were added to the butterflies body. The yellow gems are from the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300). “Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE.
