(I completely forgot to publish this post somehow, but here goes...) Hello friends! I'm back with Part Three of my December Daily. In case you missed it, HERE is a link to Part One and HERE is a link to Part Two. I have to say, this was a very daunting project for me. Just like you, December is very busy for me! I've started DD in the past and never kept up with it, but this year I really wanted to savor the time with my family and seek out opportunities to make memories. And I actually journaled until January 1! To celebrate, I have another free printable download for you, this set of Vintage Alphabets you can download as a photo HERE or as a PDF file HERE. I used tons of printables from my saved Pinterest board HERE. Some of them I printed onto sheets of printable adhesive washi paper. It's my new favorite thing! The trick (for Americans) is to set your paper size to A4 on both your document to print AND the printer. And of course, I used lots more printed vellum. I printed loads of the ephemera from the Antiquity Add On Kit by Junk With Steph on Etsy. For this page I was in a hurry and used stickers from the Antiquarian Sticker Book. This book is so very cool for collage lovers! I love adding window pages. I strengthen them with a washi tape surround. I love the hidden pockets and flaps to reveal more personal things, like holiday photos. Here of my girl on her 21st birthday brunch. <3 My New Year's Eve spread was probably my favorite, using a free printable Audubon plate from the (John James) Audubon Society's website. And this one with journaling about my craft days with my mom over break. My finished cover! I didn't let myself use my new wax seal kit until my December Daily was complete and my reward was to add a seal to the cover. Even though I print my images onto thin copy paper, there is some girth to my traveler's journal insert, so I found this gorgeous vintage velvet ribbon to add as a closure to my cover. Lately I've been experimenting with watercolors. It's been a fun process with lots of mixed results! I've been cutting down my watercolors to make cards that fit in my library drawer. Each day I pull a card and write an inspiration or affirmation to a card. I found that Mykonos compliments the vivid colors that i've been drawn to paint with and have been the papers to add something fun to each card as I go. Versprochen hatte ich noch einen Blick in das bisherige Innenleben meines Dezember-Tagebuchs, es besteht zum Teil aus gemusterten Papieren, und zum Teil aus passenden Cardstockseiten und Umschlägen. Ein paar Beispiele: Cardstock mit diesem Embossing Folder geprägt und einen Akzent mit MS- Bordürenstanzer gesetzt hier sind 3 Buchseiten zusammengeklebt, bestempelt und mit etwas Glimmer Mist besprüht mit Noten bestempelt und mit diesem Martha Punch dekoriert mit einem meiner Lieblings-Embossing-Folder bearbeitet aus diesem Papier von Graphic 45 ( es heißt witzigerweise Letters to Santa) und einem großen Briefmarken-Stanzer von Fiskars entsteht ganz schnell ein Embellishment, bei der Fertigstellung meines Tagebuchs im Dezember werde ich es sicher noch öfter einsetzen diese Seite ist aus Pink Paislee Papier mit Resist-Effekt, ich habe lediglich mit Distress Inks in Olive Vine und Barn Door leicht drübergewischt, der Effekt ist sensationell und immer wieder anders Cardstock mit Schneeflocken bestempelt, große mit Acrylfarbe und kleine mit Distress Inks...

Hi there, welcome to my blog! Today I'm excited to share my December Daily 2021 base and foundation pages. This time I used a super easy bookbinding technique which allows me to add a lot of pages, pockets, photos, and stories to my album. To create the album you will need: 2 cardboard pieces in size 18 x 21 cm 1 white cardstock in size: 40,3 x 20,6 cm 1 piece of acetate sheet in size 8 x 20,6 cm 4 pieces of planner disc (2,5 cm wide) Posca or Sharpie white marker Planner punch or Disc Power Punch The full pages are 14 x 20,6 cm the smaller pages are made from 28 x 10 cm wide paper which I folded in half. I used the beautiful Busy Sidewalk collection from American Crafts. Here you can find the template of the inner cover (and spine) Please check out the process video where I show you the basic steps of the assembling of the cover: I’ve not finished the foundation pages yet, I store my photos on my phone and make notes about the stories, and I decided to spend about an hour a day with my DD in December, this way I hope I could finish in January.
