Again, here are a few more handouts for the YW Come Follow Me Curriclum for the month of June. Sorry I was not able to get them out sooner.... but better late then never right? The lesson outline for these particular handouts is... "What are the duties of priesthood holders?" Feel free to print off and use for your lessons! (you can download them by right clicking on the picture and selecting "save image as"... you can copy and paste the images in a word document and manipulate the size as desired) I created the duties of the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood holders together and separate. Depending on your preference you could print them together or either or. They are a great size for the girls to use as bookmarks in their scriptures if you print them off on white cardstock!

None of the descendants of Lehi could have had access to the Levitical Priesthood, yet the Book of Mormon narrative depicts the Nephites building temples and living the Law of Moses. Alma the Younger later taught that theirs was the Melchizedek Priesthood, which did not need to be passed in succession but was instead given only to “just men.” The establishment of the doctrine that men must possess priesthood power to act in God’s name is one of the overriding themes of the book of Mosiah, which in turn sets the stage for all that follows in the rest of the Book of Mormon.
