We l-o-v-e-d the vibe that Kate + Dustin had goin’ on for their wedding day. From the very start, we knew Kate + Dustin’s wedding would be unique and inclusive of all the right elements to personalize it to who they are (may we add— we totally dig who they are). Kate + Dustin showed up first thing in the afternoon to start erecting their tipi so they could exchange vows underneath it later that evening. This tipi held a lot of sentimental value to these two as well— Kate was actually living in it when Kate + Dustin first met. Seriously, how cute is that? Family and friends came from around the country to join in their celebration and not a detail was missed— from the stunning flower arrangements to the sweetest little camper setup to the eclectic variety of beautiful lounge furniture nestled into cozy riverside spots for guests to enjoy. One of our favorite elements from the day had to be their DIY flower crown bar. It was open to their guests to create their own personal flower crowns and boutonnieres. Throw in some acoustic music and good cocktails, a delicious farm-to-table meal provided by the fab GB Culinary and a silent disco party to end the night and, well, we can see it doesn’t get much better than that. Beyond the details and the party, these two were one of the most sweet, soft-spoken, and beautiful couples we’ve had the pleasure to work with. They really brought their every day life into their wedding day in full force. Their love of the outdoors and homegrown elements showed through in every detail. Kate + Dustin, we adore you! Serious gratitude for allowing us to play a part in such an incredible day! Cheers to many more years of happiness ahead! My partner and I plan to get married in Iceland on June 5th, 2019. However, we wanted to do a private service one year prior so that certain family members who may not make it to Iceland could attend our marriage. We also thought that might help with the legalities of getting married in another country. We decided to get married exactly one year prior on June 5th, 2018 downtown Chicago at the courthouse.
It’s just perfect to plan a country themed wedding in Fall to me, not have to be formal, modern affairs, just country at heart, offering an opportunity to inject your personality into the ceremony and reception. A Wedding Photographer's Colorful Smoothie Themed Wedding!
This gorgeous wedding took place on a beautiful June day in the small Nevada town of Genoa. Kendal Riley, of Ostara Photography who captured this lovely wedding shared some of the particulars with us: “It was a beautiful wedding, actually it was more than just beautiful, it was a dreamy wedding shot in the small quaint town of Genoa, in Northern Nevada. Rolling hills and tall sacred mountains surround the first settlement born in Nevada in 1851. The original buildings, shops, church and town hall bustle with townspeople who keep the natural beauty and historic charm alive. Kenny and Johanna were married in a little steeple church surrounded by 100 of their closest family and friends. After they walked to the reception held in the historic town hall.” What a fantastic opportunity, to literally take over the town for your country wedding, married in the quintessential small town chapel and walking with your guests to the classic town hall to celebrate with food, fun and dancing. Thank you for your interest in my small business :) Current special buy 10 get one free :)! This vase is proudly now 100% MADE IN THE USA! The bark comes from Maine/Vermont areas of the country and is mostly white/yellow birch. Birch bark sheets this size are hard to find and very expensive right now due to covid. I will be sending a picture of your vase prior to shipping for your approval since the price of bark has skyrocketed. This beautiful birch wood vase measures 7.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. This is a glass cylinder vase hand wrapped in birch bark (some glue may be visible on the inside/top/bottom of the vase) I want to glue it well so it lasts forever! Each vase is carefully steamed, glued and wood burned by me to your specifications. Since it's glass it's completely waterproof! You don't have to worry about leaks like with zinc wrapped birch vases. This is burned by hand so it will NOT be perfect, like a machine laser engraver. If you are looking for perfection there is another seller that has a laser engraver I can give you their info. This is not the look I wanted for this product as I wanted it to be rustic and look like a engraving would on an actual tree. Please be careful when unwrapping your vase birch bark is naturally flaky and part of the engraving can come off if it is rubbed. This the nature of real bark, I can not control how each piece burns since each one is unique. Please input initials and date (if desired) in the personalization box. This posting is for the vase only! This vase could be used for an elegant/rustic wedding centerpiece or even around the house as a centerpiece for the dining room or coffee table. The vase would also make a nice bridal shower/wedding/anniversary gift. Since this is a natural product each vase is unique and differs slightly in color, texture and pattern. I will place the heart in the smoothest part of the birch bark to ensure it stands out. As this is real birch tree bark there may be some cracks in the birch bark from being pulled off the tree and or cut to size. As each piece of birch bark is unique some vases will be glued down better than others due to the variations in the thickness/rigidity of the bark. -POSSIBLE ORDER ISSUES- I do not accept cancellations for any reason. I will be sending you a photo of your vase once it's completed. If I do not get a response by 3pm on the next business day I will proceed with shipping out your vase and you have agreed that no changes are needed. In event of shipping damage please contact me through Etsy convos within 3 days of delivery. Please send a photo of shipping damage, and we will replace the damaged order at no cost. If you or another person have accidentally damaged the item after receiving it, please contact me through Etsy convos to discuss a solution. Incorrect names/spelling/dates: Although rare, mistakes can happen on personalized items. If you happen to receive a vase with a different spelling or date than what is written in the original buyer's order note, please email us immediately with a photo showing proof of the error. We will replace the item free of charge and send it as soon as possible. If the buyer has made a mistake regarding personalization on the order note and did not realize the error until item has been made/receiving the item, please message me so we can discuss a solution. -SHIPPING POLICIES- I am currently shipping out orders anywhere from 3-5 business days. Processing times do vary from item to item please check approximate delivery dates for each item. If there is a further delay in processing your order I will keep you informed via Etsy convos. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee delivery dates, and I am not responsible for packages arriving after holidays, personal parties, occasions due to delays from USPS ( this is rare but can happen). In this situation I cannot issue any refunds due to delays in the shipping process. It is the customer's responsibility provide an accurate deliverable address upon purchase. If you contact me via Etsy convos after your purchase with a different address, I will try to accommodate the request, but I cannot guarantee I will see the message in time. I will try my best to check my messages several times a day but if I’ve already shipped the item out I cannot do anything at that point. TheLittleRusticFarm is not responsible for incorrect address and/or if product is returned to us, lost, or delayed at Post Office. For items returned by USPS it will be the buyers responsibility to pay for the additional shipping charges and it will be the full amount USPS charges NOT the advertised shipping rate of $5.99.
