Here are Three Sonatas and twelve menuettos originally for the Gallichone, a simpler version of a lute strung much like a modern guitar, now available as arrangements for the low G ukulele. Klemens Franz de Paula, Prince of Bavaria (Munich, 19 April 1722 - Munich, 6 August 1770) was the son of the Imperial Field Marshal Ferdinand of Bavaria (1699-1738), and the grandson of Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria. This was an age of Monarchs and great wars. It is no wonder, then, that his music would include military themes such as the three Marcia Maestoso which begin each Sonata.
There have been countless significant battles throughout history. Some of them have become infamous – from the Battle of Passchendaele during WWI to the Battle of Hastings in 1066

De la Cruz eschews the original tale's fantastical aspects and creeping sense of danger for romance and courtly intrigue, grounding the gently unspooling narrative in the source material's familiar framework." --Publishers Weekly "Plot points from the original tale make their way into this drama-filled retelling, which nevertheless twists and turns. . . . Melissa de la Cruz knows exactly how to make [fairy-tale retellings] shine." --Booklist About the Author Melissa de la Cruz is the #1 New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and Publishers Weekly internationally bestselling author of many critically acclaimed books for readers of all ages, including the Alex & Eliza trilogy, Disney's Descendants novels, the Blue Bloods series, and the Summer on East End series.
