Our high quality printing guarantees sharp and bright colors, they are not canceled nor fade when using the glue. The colors of the images appear most vibrant when applied over white or light colors. The rice paper is preferable to tear and not cut. In this way the edge of the paper will not be visible at the end of decoupage decoration. Our printed rice paper is ideal for decoupage projects on glass, wood or Styrofoam. The rice paper is a handmade paper, 100% natural fiber, acid free. Water-resistant and resistant to light. The rice paper is thin and very strong. This paper can be glued with decoupage glue to all surfaces. In all its structure it has characteristic natural white fibers of irregular thickness. Thanks to it objects gain original decoration. Does not need soaking in water before decoupage. One sheet of Super A4 rice paper which measures approximately 8.6" x1 2.5". The photo is a stock photo from Paper Designs so the colors may vary. Rice Papers are easy to use. The paper is wafer thin but has silk fibers woven into it for strength making it ideal for all projects. It can be cut up for decoupage or collage or used whole for card making, scrapbooking or any other popular surface used by the crafter. The patterns are classic collages with beautiful images and colors. Easy to work with and beautiful designs. Rice Paper is the best on the market and you'll agree it will make your projects beautiful. Découpage is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf and other decorative elements. Commonly, an object like a small box or an item of furniture is covered by cutouts from magazines or from purpose-manufactured papers. Each layer is sealed with varnishes (often multiple coats) until the "stuck on" appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work. The traditional technique used 30 to 40 layers of varnish which were then sanded to a polished finish. Items will be shipped within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise noted in our announcement. Please email me any questions prior to ordering. Shipping will be combined provided the shipping label has not been created. Once you receive shipping confirmation we can no longer add to the order.

This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. The design duo still inspires the whole world with their artistry, their home, and their way of living. This hand-painted design adds beauty to your home. In 1899 Carl published an album with watercolor paintings from the family's home and life at Lilla Hyttnäs. The album, called “ Huset i Solen” (The house in the sun) became a huge success story and is said to be the very first media story from a Swedish home. This hand-painted wallpaper design captures the Swedish summer with all its splendor and blooming flowers, inviting you home for a Midsummer dance in the lush grass. This exquisitely crafted wallpaper comes in three color versions, this is what we call Swedish wallpaper art.
