Hello and welcome back to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop! We're happy you've joined us! Anyone else longing for spring and summer? After a week of snow and frigid temperatures, I can not wait for warmer weather, sunshine, flowers and dragonflies! I have been working on my flower garden plans and will be planting some flowers that attract butterflies. Some of my seed packets were inspiration for today's card. I stamped the floral image in Memento, coloring the flowers in summery shades of Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, Misty Moonlight, Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive. I let the markers bleed a little bit, kind of creating a watercolor effect. I splattered some Night of Navy ink over the top for some added texture. Speaking of texture...do you like to tear paper to add texture to your projects? I love how much a little tear can add to a project! I layered a beautiful piece of Misty Moonlight Dandy Garden DSP behind the torn piece of paper and punched out a couple of dragonflies from another pattern of DSP from the pack. I love the little tiny dragonflies! And inspiring sentiment and simple Well Suited Twine bow finished the card off. I know we still have a few weeks of winter ahead of us, but spring is on its way. At least it better be...soccer and baseball start soon. Hooray!! Happy Stamping! We've added a list of everyone's home pages so you can hop along in any order you wish! Just make sure you don't miss any! Amy O'Neill - Amy's Paper Crafts Breelin Renwick - Craft-somnia Momma

Here's another sneak peek of the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and Dandy Garden Designer Paper, from the 2021 January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. This is available to Demonstrators now, and customers
I used the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
The Dandy Garden Suite is ‘my’ suite. I love everything about it. Many Suites are lovely but none has spoken to me like this one has. But which stamp set is best? Garden Wishes? Or Dragonfly Garden? I couldn’t decide so had to have both. In fact, I think I ordered the entire Suite Collection. To justify my investment, I decided to hold a big event. Normally I would hold an all-day event at this time of year, hire a local hall and get together with customers for a fun day of crafting. We may not be able to meet in person but I wasn’t going to let lockdown stop me from holding my event. So, just as I have been doing since last spring, I held it on Zoom. This was a day of choices. I realised that not everyone would want to spend an entire day Zooming so offered the opportunity to book just for the morning or the afternoon. Turns out everyone was quite happy to spend the whole day on Zoom after all! I couldn’t decide whether to run it with the Dragonfly Garden or the Garden Wishes stamp set... so I gave the guests a choice. Of course, this meant I had to make double the samples but it did show off the versatility of the sets beautifully. Both sets feature a tall flower stamp. Both feature a beautiful insect. And both co-ordinate with the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. Everyone received half a pack of this, giving them lots of options – and it also meant everyone who chose the Dragonfly Garden stamp set could cut out bees from the DSP, and everyone who chose the Garden Wishes stamp set could cut out dragonflies, just as you can see in the cards above. The top card has a dragonfly cut from the Designer Series Paper, while the bottom one is stamped and lightly coloured in. We made so many projects that I am going to split them across two blog posts. Please come back on Thursday to see the second batch. Half of the day was spent making these four cards. This one is probably my favourite, using gorgeous Blackberry Bliss. I blended some ink around the bottom of the white cardstock using Blending Brushes. Those who don’t yet have these amazing brushes could use a sponge instead. To get the spatter effect, squeeze your ink pad to create a pool of ink in the lid. Using a wet (but not too wet) paintbrush, pick up some of this ink and splash this across the card. I do this by holding the paintbrush horizontally and tapping the top. NB: The wetter your paint brush, the bigger and paler the spatters will be. I made these Bumblebee cards deliberately different, to showcase the versatility of the DSP. They look so different with the bold designs on the right, or the subtle Bumblebee designs on the left, but which do you prefer? I can’t really decide. When attaching strips of DSP in a design like this, start with the two outer edge pieces, then finish off with the centre. That way you retain an even border around the outside edges of the card. This card again shows the versatility of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. The card on the left uses a bumblebee cut out of the DSP, while the one on the right is stamped from the Garden Wishes stamp set. The images in the DSP meant nobody had to miss out, regardless of the stamp set they had chosen for their kit. If you love these products as much as I do, I would urge you to act fast. No, they’re not going anywhere but if you order before the end of February, you can take advantage of Sale-a-Bration. Order both of the above and you can of course choose TWO Sale-a-Bration items or one Level 2 SAB item. If you are in the UK and would like to order, please visit my store and, if you use the February host code D6PKN76U, I’ll send you a thank you gift in March! To make it easy for you, please shop using this link However, for the best value of all, I would recommend the Starter Kit, which gives you £130 of craft supplies of your choice, plus five packs of Designer Series Paper worth £53.75. It’s shipped to you free of charge and entitles you to discounts and sneak peeks. Please do message me via my website to find out more or click here to get started. Please message me via my website

When I say the Dandy Garden Suite is my favourite of all time, I do not use those words lightly. I have been a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator for 13 years now and this is honestly the most gorgeous suite I have ever seen. I’ve liked plenty of suites in the past and loved many of them a lot... but none has spoken to me like this one. Last week I held my annual Twixmas Party, albeit this time on Zoom. In fact, the Zoom format worked so well for this event that I think this one will definitely remain on Zoom in the future, even when we are allowed to meet again. Nobody had to worry about the weather, and guests could celebrate with a glass of fizz if they wished. We had games, prizes and demonstrations. For this demo I used the Zoom polling feature so the guests could choose what I made. This was the winning design; guests voted for the Dragonfly Garden stamp set, the Blackberry Bliss colourway and finally to embellish with a die-cut bee from the Dandy Wishes Dies set rather than a dragonfly using the new Dragonfly Punch. Of course, I had some variations to show them afterwards, too, so everybody got to see their choices in the end, even if they didn’t cast a winning vote. I took the opportunity to demonstrate the gorgeous new Blending Brushes which feature in the new January-June Mini Catalogue (p70, £11.25 for three). These are SO luscious and so easy to use. Even my 20-year-old son – who normally shows zero interest in craft supplies – picked one up and said “why are these so nice?” They look like sponges in the catalogue photo but are actually very dense brushes with the softest bristles. You can rinse them under the tap when you’ve finished and because they are synthetic, they dry very quickly, although having three in a pack means you can switch between colours without risking getting water on your project. It was also the first public outing for my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, nicknamed Little Roland. This fits the Greenery Embossing Folders perfectly and is more than adequate for the vast majority of our dies, including the Stitched Nested Labels Dies I’ve used here. Little Roland and the Dandy Garden Suite all go live tomorrow with the launch of the January-June Mini Catalogue, which is when Sale-a-Bration goes live, too! Here are some tips for shopping wisely: The Blending Brushes give you a soft, natural-looking background which offsets these images perfectly. The wildflower image requires very little colouring, so giving it a hint of a background allows the image to stand out.

Today's tutorial is for a dragonfly card set. A full set of four cards all using the same Dragonfly Garden bundle and Dandy Garden DSP.
Hello and welcome. Today I have a card to share using some new product. We have loads of new product in the January - June Mini Catalogue, there are a million ideas zooming around in my head. I just hope I can remember them all to get them onto a card. I love dandelions and they invoke wonderful childhood memories of picking them and the blowing to see all the little seeds flying away. And then of course getting told off by Dad if he saw us as he didn't want any more weeds in his finely manicured lawns. I still can't understand how something so beautiful can be classed a weed. So when I saw the Garden Wishes stamp set, I just had to have it. Here is a simple card I made with it. The Garden Wishes stamp set is actually part of the large Dandy Garden Product Suite. All the products in the suite work wonderfully together. You can see them all below. I used the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set to create a friend card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.
Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have another fun card to share with you but this time it is with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I made this for one of my customers who bought the bundle and I am loving how it turned out. This is such a great bundle. The dragonfly image is the perfect size for cards, contains some cool sentiments and I love that long flower cluster. Such a pretty stamp set. I stamped the flowers and dragonfly using Early Espresso ink and colored them with Calypso Coral, Soft Suede, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. TIP: Heat set the ink before coloring to ensure that the ink does not bleed. ;0 With Terracotta Tile being my focal color, I went thru my DSP stash and ended up with a solid patterned piece from the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP that complimented my flowers perfectly. This is another great DSP from the Annual Catalog that contains gold embossed patterns on several sheets and highlights a beautiful summer feel. It's almost time to say goodbye to FREE Card Class Supplies! Tomorrow is the LAST day to qualify for Option 1 of my Pretty Perennials PDF Card Class offer! Don't miss out on this beautiful bundle! Hi everyone, sharing a set of cards I made using 4 sheets of 3 designs of the 6" x 6" Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and other products from the Dandy Garden Suite available in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. Hands up if you have the Dandy Gardens Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and have never used them. My hand has gone up, I had two packs of them that I had not even opened. I also had nearly a full pack of the Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, the Ladybug Trinkets and Mossy Meadow 3/16" Braided Linen Trim. I have not used up all these supplies on these cards, but I put a good dent in them with just a few left to use up. To design my cards I sat with some templates of 1" x 5" strips, 1" x 4 1/2" strips, 1" x 4" strips, 1 1/2" x 2" strips and 2" x 3" pieces. I sat and worked out the best cutting layout to maximise the best use of the Designer Series Paper with little or no left overs. Some of the strips that were left I decorated the inside of my cards with and kept a few others as I have another project in mind for these. I made a total of 24 cards, 6 each of the 4 designs. I kept the embellishments and sentiments the same across all the cards, making a couple of each to suit many occasions. The Stitched Flag pieces were die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies. Card 1 I cut the Designer Series Paper at Bumblebee Print - 1" x 5" or 2.5cm x 12.8cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Calypso Coral Print - 1" x 4" or 2.5cm x 10.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Floral Print - 2" x 3" or 5.1cm x 7.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger The sentiment square is cut using the 2nd smallest square in the Stitched Shaped Dies and a scalloped Square from Layering Square Dies. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Dragonfly was stamp using Black Memento Ink and coloured using Light & Dark Mango Melody and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. This was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. Card 2 I cut the Designer Series Paper at Bumblebee Print - 1" x 5" or 2.5cm x 12.8cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Calypso Coral Print - 1" x 4" or 2.5cm x 10.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Floral Print - 2" x 3" or 5.1cm x 7.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger The sentiment circle is cut using the 2nd smallest circle in the Stitched Shaped Dies and a scalloped circle from Layering Circle Dies. The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. The Dragonfly was stamp using Black Memento Ink and coloured using Light & Dark Mango Melody and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. This was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. Card 3 I cut the Designer Series Paper at Bumblebee Print - 2" x 1 1/2" (2 pieces for each card) or 5.1cm x 3.8cm - Basic Black mat was cut at 2 1/8" x 3 1/2" or 5.6cm x 8.9cm. Calypso Coral Print - 1" x 4 1/2" or 2.5cm x 11.4cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Floral Print - 2" x 3" or 5.1cm x 7.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger The sentiment circle is cut using the 2nd smallest circle in the Stitched Shaped Dies and a scalloped circle from Layering Circle Dies. The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. The Dragonfly was stamp using Black Memento Ink and coloured using Light & Dark Mango Melody and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. This was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. The Bumblebee Print is adhere to either side of the Basic Black mat that goes across the card, leaving a gap in the middle that is covered by the other layers. This gets the best out of the paper making sure that you get the 6 cards out out of the 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper. This card has some Matte Back Dots added as an extra embellishment. Card 4 I cut the Designer Series Paper at Calypso Coral Print - 1" x 5" or 2.5cm x 12.8cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Bumblebee Print - 1" x 4" or 2.5cm x 10.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger Floral Print - 2" x 3" or 5.1cm x 7.6cm - Basic Black mats 1/8" or 0.5cm larger The sentiment circle is cut using the 2nd smallest circle in the Stitched Shaped Dies and a scalloped circle from Layering Circle Dies. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Dragonfly was stamp using Black Memento Ink and coloured using Light & Dark Mango Melody and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. This was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. This card also has some Matte Back Dots added as an extra embellishment. Hope you enjoyed this post.
