Yarn Notes Yarn Specs The Brand Unbelievably soft and squidgy, you'll stroke it till you use it, and then stroke it some more! Plump dk is made from the same highest quality, sustainable, superfine merino and baby alpaca as Plump Superchunky and in the same delicious shades. The yarn is roving in nature, meaning that it is single ply with little twist. This helps keep the squidginess of the fibres, and during the spinning process the fibres are slightly felted together to ensure that it doesn't split when you are working with it. Plump dk is a pretty standard dk or light worsted weight yarn. We have used it for straight double knit projects as well as projects specifying an aran weight yarn and found it works well for both.
