Difficulty: Easy ★★☆☆☆ You will need: a clear sphere ornament tissue paper/ year/ coloured paper in your choice colour acrylic paint in various colours a marker (like a sharpie pen) small paintbrushes ribbon or string scissors various coloured foam sheets/ cardstock/ felt (only necessary depending on Pokemon choice) crazy/super/hot glue (only if you're attaching ears, etc.) Mod Podge/ your choice of finishing coat First choose the Pokemon you want to make. Pokemon that have faces that are all 1 colour work best. Remove the top part of your ornament. Fill the ornament up with ripped tissue paper/cardstock or yarn in your choice colour. Once the ornament is filled, put the top part of the ornament back on. Using a reference picture of your choice Pokemon, begin to draw on the eyes/mouth and any face details with a marker. A sharpie pen works great for this and can be easily rubbed off to correct any mistakes or once finished. Using your finished drawn on Pokemon face as guidelines, paint the face on with acrylic paint in the correct colours. You will probably need to do multiple coats to get an opaque look. Let the paint dry completely before moving on. If you want you can now coat your painted ornament in Mod Podge/ your choice of finishing coat. If your Pokemon has ears/ other face details that stick out, make them out of some cardstock/felt/foam sheet in the correct colour(s). Far ears; roughly trace the curve of your ornament onto some foam, etc. then draw an ear out from that curve so that the ears will fit well up against the ornament. Cut your ear out and use it to trace another ear so that they match (make sure if your ears aren't symmetrical that you trace the second one the opposite way to your first). If your ears/ face pieces have any markings/ details on them, draw or paint those on as well. Glue on your ear/ face pieces. Cut a length of ribbon/ string and tie it to the top of the ornament to create a loop for hanging. Now you have your finished Pokemon ornament! Some other examples:

Everyone seems to have Frozen Fever. So who wouldn't want an Olaf the Snowman ring?... You just need a hot glue gun and... Thread three strands of floss onto a long needle and then knotted them together. Stick the needle into the middle of the pom pom and once all the way through, pull on the non-knotted portion of the loop to get the loose ends through. Trim the ends and Olaf has his hair... Then get those ring blanks and pom poms... Hot glue the bottom (in my case the largest) pom pom onto ring blank... glue two "arm" twigs to the top... then middle pom pom... and add his head... I am wearing this one without my gloves on because, "the cold never bothered me anyway." bloom designs, tidy mom, link party palooza, g'day saturday, sunday showcase, monday fun day, skip to my lou, project inspired, homework, someday crafts, link party palooza
