If you have a fascination with the miniature world, we have a treat for you. The artist behind Mozu Studios, based in Japan, creates stunning and extremely detailed miniature rooms. Every object created by the studio is handmade and lifelike, except for its size. The items, such as computers, chairs, and books, are made to be so small that all three of them could easily fit into your palm. The president of Mozu Studios, 21-year-old Kiyotaka Mizukoshi, has a serious passion for miniature art. The artist has been crafting since he was 11 years old and has seriously improved his skills over the years. "When I was 11, I was into building plastic models of Gundam. After that, I realized that I wanted to make something original and I started to make miniature works," he told Bored Panda.

Lynne Clibanoff (born 1944) is an American Postwar & Contemporary artist, residing in Pennsylvania, USA, and is represented by Dolan Maxwell Gallery, who describe her as follows: "Lynne Clibanoff is a printmaker, photographer, and sculptor who has dedicated most of her career to creating intricate miniature architectural sculptures and three-dimensional folded prints of empty interiors. Clibanoff's unique approach is to use optical techniques of forced perspective when constructing the rooms. The impeccable detail of the beautifully finished architectural features becomes the subject as doors, panels, archways, and stairs are composed and manipulated to appear smaller or larger than they are. Windows and skylights allow natural light to suffuse these intimate interiors with an atmosphere of mystery. The small scale and quiet light of Clibanoff's uninhabited architectural spaces invites one to escape a world amplified by excess by imagining ourselves in the certain tranquility of her miniature rooms." Extensive drawings, calculations and blueprints goes into the construction of these pieces. This 1982 masterwork is a one of very few pieces she did in the 1980's that included a lightbulb to illuminate the interior. They are rare to come by. That last piece from this series to come on the market was 12 years ago, according to the gallery and was listed for $16K. The piece is untitled. And is around 12" cube, with a back that opens up to reveal the interior construction and electrical implementation; as well as replace the bulb if needed. It has a switch on the cable to turn on/off. The condition is excellent with very minor surface wear.
