When editing the images I use a standardised colour profile to ensure the colours are true to the original artwork. ** Image Backgrounds & Creation ** I offer most of my images as white background JPGs (exceptions to this will be obvious by the preview images) as much of my work is in a Watercolour style. This results in parts of the image being transparent and when the background is removed the transparent parts of the image could also be affected. For example, a petal of a flower that appears white may actually have transparent parts that when placed on a different coloured background will change colour and look strange and out of place. There are many online solutions, that can remove backgrounds, simply and for free. Rather than compromise on the quality of the images I have decided, for now, to keep the backgrounds white and give you the option of removing the backgrounds if you choose to. I am actively seeking ways to offer images with a transparent background without compromising image quality. All clipart has been created using either traditional drawing methods, digital drawing methods, generative AI algorithms or a combination of the aforementioned.
