After dyeing just about every white article of clothing in sight, our blue stained fingers excitedly uploaded the tutorial. And so began the ongoing series of tutorials and DIYs."

White painted buildings with details picked out in colour are a common sight in Alentejo, Portugal. This is a church in the town of Campo Maior.
There's something geometric about this hugely varied seascape - from the deep blue zig-zags of the sea at the base, right up to the cool fade of the sky. In between, you have the beach itself, passing up into the almost brilliant white dunes at the rear of the beach - and not a figure in sight!
The Cornish Crabber is common sight off the coast of cornwall, leaving their flag markers bobbing on the waves. I've been inspired by the beautiful cornish countryside and wildlife. And the traditional blue and white of cornish pottery. All with my own twist! I cut the design into lino and then use it to create my unique hand printed cards. Deep blue print on cream card. Each image varies slightly as it's a unique print, part of the magic! Supplied without cellophane for the sake of our wonderful world. Card and envelope made from recycled materials. Blank inside for you to add your own words. Approx 15cm x 15cm. I usually use recycled jiffy bags to post in.

This stately heron with its subtle blue-gray plumage often stands motionless as it scans for prey or wades belly deep with long, deliberate steps. They may move slowly, but Great Blue Herons can strike like lightning to grab a fish or snap up a gopher. In flight, look for this widespread heron’s tucked-in neck and long legs trailing out behind.
