This week's challenge at Just Add Ink is to create a project inspired by this sweet & yummy image. I immediately thought that my husband & I are always making cups of tea for each other so I decided to made a card for him. Please promise you won't show him this post as he won't receive the card until Valentine's day tomorrow... Shhh! ;-) This is what I made. You could easily change out the sentiment for a birthday, friendship or many other occasions. Did you work out that the cups are made with my fave Curvy Keepsake die? I'm not sure who came up with this gem of an idea but I saw Vicky Hayes' card & pinned it away for later. Thanks Vicky! If you'd like to make your own cup, this pic shows you how. Just cut, then adhere the handle behind the cup side & that's it! I made the pink cup into a shaker using our shaker frames & filled with hearts from the confetti heart punch. The happy together die cut & stamped sentiment is from the aptly named Crazy for You stamp & die bundle (I have the photopolymer bundle, but it's also available in wood or cling mount). I've used this bundle for 3 of the past 4 challenges so it's clearly a fave of mine. You can see all the supplies I used, below. Want more? The JAI Design Team have used the inspiration pic in lots of different ways so remember to check out all our creations on the Just Add Ink blog. Even better, we'd love to see you try the challenge too. Leave me a comment if you have any questions about my card or if you just liked my idea. I love hearing from visitors. Remember to like, share &/or pin it too if you'd like to save it for later. Until next time, inky wishes Di Product List To see & order any items used in today's project, just click on the items below to see them in my Online Store. If you've visited the Blog before, you know that one of my "things" is the crazy-addictive sport of Curling. Ever since I got the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits, I've been wanting to make it into a Curling Stone. Well, I finally did it! The box is perfectly sized for two yummy chocolates. The stamps are from, you guessed it, the wonderful new Occasions Catalog (p. 31). The Crazy about You set is going to be a versatile group of stamps. And keep a look out for some upcoming samples with the coordinating Hello You Thinlits Dies (yes, the Bundle!). Stamps: Crazy about You Ink: Pacific Point Paper: Basic Grey, Real Red, Whisper White Accessories: Big Shot, Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits (it's still available! see page 49 of the Occasions Catalog)

10. Cute Curvy Braids. This example of cornrows is rather ornamental and traditional than crazy. What makes the style pop is the curvy design of the braids on top balanced out by a low wrap-around ponytail.
I'm gearing up for my first market stall in a few years and have been a busy little bee putting together cards, bunting, and other bits and bobs such as these darling little sticky note holders. Aren't they just the cutest? I decorated them with the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper Stack after making the holders with the coordinating cardstock. The butterflies were coloured in using my Stampin' Blends in various colours. At the moment the butterfly stamp set, Butterfly Gala, is bundled with a matching punch so that you can purchase them both at 10% off. Great deal! Now watch my video below to see how I put them together and how to get the little magnets on and in just the right place then read on for the measurements of the pieces. Quick shot of the inside and we're done!! (Don't forget to decorate your large butterfly with some embellishments of your choice.) Measurements: Cardstock: 8" x 3 1/4" DSP: 3 1/8" x 2", 3 1/8" x 1 7/8" Score on the long side at 2", 2 3/8", 5 1/2", 5 7/8" Magnets: 6mm x 1mm CASEd from Pootles (Sam Donald) with huge thanks. I am in love with the new curvy keepsake box thinlits die that will be on sale in the Holiday mini catalog. This one was made using designer paper Color me Autumn. This one I used cardstock weight velum and embossed with stars embossing folder. Inside holds a battery operated tea light candle. Since I liked the velum look so much I made another one. This time I stamped one of the snowflakes using Encore silver ink. Stamp set Endless Wishes. The die also comes with three different shape tags. Everyone on my Christmas list will be receiving a little gift from me inside this cute little box. So much fun! Stamping trails Karen

Following on from the contrast of my Flowering Flourishes card a few days a go, I thought I'd show you another good contrast. This one I definitely had in mind for guys, but it can most certainly be for anyone. Fiona's Notes: Because I only wanted to use the text in the stamp I stamped the "happy" in Night of Navy and then went over it with a white gel pen. Hello Diva Fans, Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week since there are so many choices. This Week's Challenge... ~ Animals~ Here is my Design Team project... Deciding which animal was the most difficult part of this challenge. There are so many to choose from and how do you pick just one! There are pets (cats and dogs), farm animals (horses, cows, chickens), zoo animals (tigers and lions), or even wild critters (bears, raccoons, etc). I finally selected this elephant treat box by My Scrap Chick. The back side is just as cute...check out the tiny tail. Small rectangular box easily stores individually wrapped treats. Materials: gray and pink card stock black and raspberry ink for edging wiggly eyes pink polka dot ribbon Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Animal" challenge. Be sure to check out the other design team critters. Stay Creative, Georgiana

Thanks for joining The Crazy Crafters team blog hop for September. This month focus is on the holiday catalogue which was released on the 28th of August and goes right through to the 5th January 2015. If you haven't already got a copy, then request one from your Stampin' Up! demonstrator or check it out online. No demonstrator? No worries, just drop me an email. One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! is matching. I love matching my boxes or gift tags to the cards I create. So this month I have used one of the new stamp sets in the holiday catalogue to create a Christmas card and then made a matching curvy box using cardstock and the same stamp set, Endless Wishes. It is a very sweet delicate set, which incorporates a variety of greetings for the holiday season. These greetings can be mixed and matched to create a sentiment of your own style. STAMPIN' UP! Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Rachel Tessman from the United States. Rachel has been a demonstrator for 17yrs, and her blog 'Stamp your art out!' is full of inspiration, I particularly like her "outside the box" projects and her scrapbook layouts. I was so tempted to CASE and create a scrapbook page, I have so many that I need to complete! In the end I decided to CASE the below technique that utilises the Fine Tip Glue Pen to create a resist image: This is such a great technique that allows you to add sponging to a project without altering the colour of your image, here is my project: The Curvy Keepsake box is one of my favourites, you can dress it up or down depending on your reason for creating a favour/gift box. I used the cute little egg from the Sale-A-Bration set "Hey Chick!" and stamped the lower edge of Curvy Keepsakes diecuts and then coloured with Watercolour pencils and a Blender Pen. I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to cover the legs of my little chicks, when dry I sponged Wild Wasabi for a grass effect along the base of the box. I decided to sponge So Saffron on the top of the box too with the colour deeper on the handle and blending down to nothing towards the stamped chicks - kind of like the sun is shining :) Be sure you hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters hop and see all the incredible creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! You are currently on my blog, Sue Vine - Miss Pinks Craft Spot , check who is below me and that is where to head to next! Thanks for hopping with us. Want to make this project?
