Love sarcasm and want to make it pretty and hang it on the wall? These 20 snarky cross stitch patterns will make you laugh and keep your guests guessing!
I've had this pattern rattling around in my head for months, but have been crazy busy with other things. I finally sat down tonight and pounded it out, and added a custom border I created. This pattern may look plain in the pictures, but if you use the recommended threads that I list, the text will have a red ombre effect with the use of Threadworx Cotton Floss in Red Lipstick. I was also playing around with this with the text being Bradley's Balloons by the same company. Have fun with it! This pattern ends up being 10.39 by 8.33 inches when completed with no unstitched border, but I would recommend leaving 2 inches around it for framing, so you will want 12.39 by 10.33 inches of aida to start with. This is for size 18 Aida fabric, and will obviously be bigger if you use size 16, or smaller if you go to size 24. All thread colors are listed, with the rose border being done in DMC Floss. I hope you love it as much as I do.
