Hello lovelies! Today i have a new(ish) crochet pattern for you all, i designed this crochet rectangle shawl a little while ago and had it as a paid pattern in my online shops but from today i have put it as a free pattern for you all to enjoy, Yay! I love working on shawl patterns especially if they have repeat rows that you can remember as they can easily be worked up whilst doing a few other things and this crochet shawl pattern fits the bill. This is fun, easy and beginner friendly. For this pattern i used Drops Baby Merino in a fingering weight yarn and a 5mm crochet hook. I know some of you are not as keen to use fingering weight yarns as they can take AGES to work up a pattern but this one worked up really quick and what i was looking to achieve was a nice light and airy shawl something that wasn't heavy. I did try this pattern in a dk yarn and an aran weight yarn but i really wasn't happy with it how it looked and felt so tried it with a much lighter weight yarn and to me it done the job and i hope you enjoy it just as much too. Please remember all my patterns are written using US crochet terminology. Happy Hooking!
