Need a super cute card that is perfect for a kids birthday? Today's Triple Easel fun fold card is exactly what you need.
This was a busy month in the card making department as we have six boy birthdays in our family. My three grandsons turned 11, my son's girlfriend's son turned 8 and two great nephews also were in the mix. I used the new stamp set Level Complete for all the cards in this post. The above cards were the cards I made for the grandsons. I found inspiration for my cards from Pinterest. First up was Cade. This one was pretty much a "case" on the outside. I just added the number 11 with our Alphabet A La Mode Dies. Belly band slides off. I added the little pop up trophy after I already had it signed (because his brothers had pop ups in theirs and well you know how that goes.) It was a good place to put some money. Reid's card again a pretty much "case" from Pinterest. I added stars and the 11 to outside. The dies used were from the Nested Essential Die Set. Inside I added a popup and stuck some money behind it also. Popups are so easy to make and really add an element of surprise to a card. Jace's card inspired by a stamp set (from a different company.) He always loves to fiddle with things so I added some of our retired 1/8" Black Cord. I also embossed the red part to give it texture using one of the folders from the Online Exclusive Basic 3D Embossing folder set. Inside of Jace's card has a little popup trophy as well. I added a few stars to one side to cover up the ink mark made on accident, oops! But they covered the boo-boos up nicely don't you think? Jackson's card, I love all the layers. yup you guess it another Pinterest idea. Don't you just love Pinterest? and a popup trophy for him as well. Great place to put money. This last two are gift / money holders for my great nephews. Super easy to make. I chose to stick some money in theirs. I hope you have enjoyed looking at the cards. I will add that I put the regular cards in the clear envelopes and taped them to the outside of their Birthday presents. They loved that they could see them ahead of time. If you enjoyed my post and would like to see a video on how any of the cards were made, please leave me a comment and I will try my best to do one. Fun Fold Friday with the Attention Shoppers Gift Card Holder with a Z fold to open! This was the 2nd most popular bundle that was voted for me to make a Fun Fold with! It truly is a fun bundle with lots of possibilities! To open it up, you just pull on the front of the Z fold and it reveals the center where the pocket for the gift card holder is and the back where you can write a message. The pocket for the gift card is super easy to make with the Designer Series Paper. My favorite adhesive to use to make the pocket is Stampin' UP! Tear Tape. The cute little gift bags are super fun to make with DSP to create images on the bag. Watch video to get all of the tips. This card could be used for Birthdays, Teachers, as a Thank You card, and so much more! I left my inside blank until I know who I will send this card to with a gift card of fun! My friend Annie will be celebrating her birthday this week. Since I am traveling to the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to Alaska, I knew I would miss her special day. So, before I left the island, I took her out to lunch to celebrate a little early.
Bridge Card Bridge cards are fun to make especially when it is Halloween! Love using my Halloween dies from Sizzix and Tim Holtz! The pumpkin is a foam sticker that I found at Michael's which I thought would be great for cards! The paper for both of these cards is from Stampin up and Authenique. Found the perfect Halloween sentiment for this card on Pinterest! "May the blackest cat you've ever seen bring you Good Luck this Halloween!" UFold Card This card is a UFold card and I used more of my sizzix dies. I added some googly eyes to the spiders which is always fun to do!! This black cat is from sizzix and it holds the panel down which says "Happy Halloween". When you close the card the panel comes up which is shown below and on the back is another great Halloween sentiment for this card. The paper I used I have had in my stash for so long that I cannot remember the name of it. Card closed to mail This sentiment in the picture is easier to read. I have started early with my Halloween cards I think I might send more out than I usually do! Halloween will be here before you know it!
Tips for lining up paper and taping it onto your cards straight. Whether you're using strips of paper or lining up any elements in a row these tips will help.
Hello friends. Today I am here to share my Pyramid Scene Box that I created. I saw a version of this box on a German webpage and liked it, but did not understand the language nor did I have the cutting machine that the site used. Solution? Create my own template and tutorial! The tutorial is a ten page document complete with written and pictorial instructions. The final three pages are images of the template that you will need to print, match the lines, and tape together. The template is created using a 12 x 12-inch piece of card stock. You will need to trace the printer paper template onto the 12 x 12-inch card stock. Once the scoring and cutting is done, the box is a breeze to assemble. The cost of the tutorial is $10.00 (US). Visit My Tutorial Shop to purchase HERE.
