While I make no claim that these be tacos quite as you might eat them in Mexico, I can confidently assure you that they have their own, undeniable charm: soft corn tortillas (and one day I plan to start making them myself, rather than getting them out of a packet), warmed in the oven, piled up with spiced and baked fish, quick-pickled onions, fiery mayonnaise, lime-spritzed avocado, corn relish and shredded lettuce. If you think of it in time, the onions will be even better steeped in lime juice (or use red wine vinegar, if you prefer) several hours ahead, or indeed the night before, but it’s fine enough just to get them submerged about half an hour before you start the rest of the recipe. For US cup measures, use the toggle at the top of the ingredients list.

Na szybki niedzielny deser polecam crumble z rabarbarem i truskawkami, po polsku owoce pod smaczną kruszonką :) Składniki: (4 porcje) - ok. 4 łodygi rabarbaru, - 10 sztuk truskawek, - 2 łyżki brązowego cukru, - odrobina wody, - 1 łyżeczka mąki ziemniaczanej/skrobi ziemniaczanej, - 1 łyżka masła, - lody waniliowe/śmietankowe. kruszonka: - 1/2 szklanki mąki krupczatki, - 2-3 łyżki płatków owsianych, - 1/4 kostki masła, - szczypta soli, - 1/4 szklanki cukru drobnoziarnistego (do wypieków), - 2 łyżki zmielonych migdałów, - kilka płatków migdałów (posypka na górę), - 1 łyżka ekstraktu wanilii. Wykonanie: Rabarbar obieramy, kroimy na kawałki/kostkę ok. 1cm. Mniejsze truskawki użyjemy w całości, większe kroimy na połówki. Do garnka wrzucamy rabarbar, dodajemy cukier (do smaku), odrobinę wody, na koniec masło. Mieszamy i dusimy ok. 3-5 min. Wyłączamy ogień, dodajemy truskawki. Mieszamy delikatnie, aby owoce pozostały w całości. Przestudzamy wszystko, na koniec dodajemy 1 łyżeczkę mąki ziemniaczanej. Owoce puszczą sok, po dodaniu mąki wszystko lekko zgęstnieje. Kruszonka Wszystkie składniki wrzucamy do miski. Ugniatamy ręcznie lub mikserem, aż powstaną grudki o konsystencji piasku. Podduszone owoce wkładamy do pojemniczków do zapiekania. Na wierzch sypiemy kruszonkę i dodajemy kilka płatków migdałów. Pieczemy w temperaturze 180° ok. 20 minut do zarumienienia (opcja góra-dół).
