This is such a great lesson! This is part 14 of the study of David. Cathy has made the application very easy to understand for the kids. There is also a worksheet you can download to use. Everything is included in the one download for this one. I started with the application from Cathy, but thought it needed an introduction about Absalom. It is a short lesson to show how Absalom acted to others. The application for this lesson is really the main part of the time that is spent. There are heart visuals that have what Absalom acted like on the OUTSIDE and flip the heart over, and the students see what was really on the INSIDE. I suggest you print the visuals onto white cardstock, then cut out a bigger heart from red cardstock or poster board. It will make a great visual. Directions and ideas all in the download. This is a great review worksheet and will help the students think about what they have just studied and how to apply it to them.
