Con este mini-tutorial te cuento como coser las esquinas en inglete y que quede un ángulo de 90 grados, o sea, perfectas. Imaginemos que estamos haciendo un mantel o una servilleta.... Empezamos marcando con la plancha el primer dobladillo del ancho que necesitemos. Para este ejemplo el dobladillo mide 4 cm. Ahora planchamos el dobladillo siguiente,y el siguiente...hasta planchar los cuatro lados del mantel. Justo en el vértice donde se encuentran los bordes, marcamos con un lápiz y/o hacemos un pequeño piquete. Desdoblamos las esquinas. Por el revés, las marcas de plancha deber estar bien claras y los piquetes/marcas también. Ahora doblamos con el derecho hacia dentro de forma que hacemos coincidir exactamente los dos piquetes/marcas, uno sobre el otro. A partir de ahí, trazamos una línea hasta el vértice del ángulo que forman las marchas de plancha. Esa es la línea precisa por donde tenemos que coser. Después recortamos lo sobrante para que la esquina no abulte. Procura dejar al menos 1 cm. de margen de costura 😉 De nuevo con la plancha, abrimos el margen para dejarlo bien plano. Volvemos la esquina del derecho ayudándonos de un "saca esquinas", muy práctico para estas cosas. Si fuiste precisa-o en los pasos, comprobarás que tu esquina resulta un ángulo recto y las cuatro esquinas formarán un cuadrado prefecto 👌 Para terminar, puedes someter el borde cortado y pespuntearlo o terminar la labor con un festón decorativo.

La costura hecha a máquina es genial: rápida, eficiente y bonita. Pero a veces, no nos queda más remedio que coser a mano. Hoy queremos mostraros las cuatro puntadas básicas que todos deberíamos conocer, son las más útiles para conseguir unos acabados perfectos. ¡No os agobiéis con la cantidad de información que os vamos a dar de golpe! Podéis guardarla e ir leyéndola poco a poco. ANTES DE EMPEZAR - existen dos maneras en que podemos enhebrar la aguja cuando cosemos a mano, y ambas están bien, pero se suelen usar en momentos diferentes: - Hilo simple: al enhebrar la aguja hacemos un nudo en uno de los extremos del hilo, dejando el otro libre - esto es útil para técnicas de bordado en que necesitas dar unas pocas puntadas, y si te equivocas, puedes descoserlo de manera rápida y sencilla simplemente tirando del hilo. - Hilo doble: al enhebrar la aguja hacemos un único nudo uniendo los dos extremos del hilo- se usa para puntadas más seguras, pero es imposible descoser sin cortar el hilo ¡y volver a empezar! Punto bastilla / hilván – ¿para qué sirve? Este tipo de punto suele usarse para crear fruncidos, preparar bajos o hilvanar. Este tipo de puntada se ve igual por ambos lados de la tela (tanto del derecho como del revés). Pasos: - Trabajando de derecha a izquierda (o de izquierda a derecha en caso de ser zurdo), inserta la aguja en la tela y sácala otra vez (fig.1) - Ves repitiendo este movimiento, manteniendo las puntadas lo más rectas posible (fig.2,3 y 4) Punto atrás / pespunte – ¿para qué sirve? El pespunte o punto atrás crea una costura fuerte, se utiliza en aquellas zonas de difícil acceso o con costuras complicadas en las que la máquina de coser no nos sirve. Por el lado derecho de la tela, el pespunte se parece a la puntada recta creada con la máquina de coser, pero por el revés las puntadas se superponen. Pasos: - Trabajando de derecha a izquierda, inserta la aguja en la tela y sácala de nuevo, sacando el hilo a través de ella (fig.1) - Inserta de nuevo la aguja más o menos medio centímetro a la derecha de donde sale el hilo, y sácala medio centímetro a la izquierda de tu primera puntada (fig.2) - Continúa así, insertando la aguja a la derecha de tu última puntada, y sacándola a la izquierda (fig.3 y 4) Dobladillo ciego – ¿para qué sirve? Uno de nuestros favoritos. Es una puntada completamente invisible, muy útil para realizar unos acabados perfectos, ya sea un dobladillo, para finalizar el interior de una cinturilla, o coser unas mangas... Pasos: - Prepara la tela, doblándola por donde te interese - Inserta la aguja a través del borde doblado y saca el hilo a través (fig.1) - Recoge un par de hilos de la tela justo en el punto bajo el lugar donde está el hilo (fig.2) y pasa el hilo a través. Si coges más tela, la puntada no será invisible y se verá por el derecho de la misma (fig.3) - Vuelve a insertar la aguja en el borde doblado justo encima del punto por el que acabas de pasar la aguja (fig.4). Usando el borde doblado de la tela como guía, desliza la aguja más o menos un centímetro y sácala de nuevo (fig.5) - Repite los pasos 2 a 5 tantas veces como sea necesario y finaliza la costura con un pequeño remate Puntada invisible – ¿para qué sirve? Especialmente buena para dobladillos, o para cerrar forros, muñecos, etc... Pasos: - Trabajando de izquierda a derecha, inserta la aguja en un lado (fig.1 y 2) - Haz una puntada en la tela del otro lado un poco a la derecha de la anterior puntada, con un movimiento en diagonal (fig.3) pasa el hilo a través, manteniéndolo firme y seguro pero no demasiado tenso (fig.4) - Con un movimiento en diagonal de nuevo hacia la derecha, haz otra puntada en la tela contraria (fig.5) y continúa con este movimiento (fig 6) Cómo acabamos las puntadas a mano Tal y como se hace con la costura a máquina, es importante rematar nuestras puntadas para evitar que se descosan, por eso solemos hacer un nudo. Por el revés de la tela, y con la aguja aún enhebrada, colocamos la aguja cerca de donde sale el hilo, cogiendo con la aguja un trocito pequeño de tela (fig.1) Empuja la aguja y el hilo a través, y pasa la aguja por el pequeño círculo que crea el hilo (fig.2) De esta manera, ya hemos creado el nudo, tiraremos de la aguja para tensar el hilo y así mantener el nudo lo más cerca posible de la tela (fig.3), esta operación se puede hacer un par de veces mas si deseas más seguridad en el remate Tensa el nudo y corta el hilo a unos milímetros del mismo (fig.4)
