I finally got a trans-black bubble!

There’s just something about the worlds of Hayao Miyazaki that inspire LEGO builders to new heights. This Howl’s Moving Castle by O-SAWA may be my favorite yet. From battleship turrets and chicken feet to houses and a big orange tongue, O-SAWA’s castle has it all. Via twee affect.
We’ve seen some major LEGO builds before but we’re not sure we’ve seen something quite like this one.

With these buffalos I count model no. 9 in my animal series so far.
The reconstruction (pictured) took a Lego builder 470 hours to complete and consists of more than 190,000 blocks. It is on display at Sydney University's Nicholson Museum.
I am the English-born returnee, Kongou-dess! Nice to meet you! The Kancolle anime wasn't particularly good, but I must admit that I really enjoyed the comedy chapters, and the Kongou Sisters' episode was greeeeat <3. Can't wait to see a new season/movie!

Do you remember Blacktron? It was Lego's first space theme series and today is one of the most valuable!
We've seen a few Latter-day Saint lego creations—like a 13,500 Lego-block Bountiful temple and a nine-years-in-the-making Salt Lake temple, complete with wedding groups crowding the stairs.

Nathan Sawaya quit his job as corporate lawyer in 2001 to return to his boyhood obsession - making things out of Lego. "I used to spend my day sitting in a board room, negotiating contracts and I would find at the end of the day I would need some sort of creative release and Lego was that," he said. "Around the turn of the century I left the law firm to become a full time Lego artist and opened my art studio here in New York."

"Guardians are fighting on Earth and beyond. Join them." Figures based on character from the upcoming video game Destiny* I am very, very excited to finally be posting the very first figures in my upcoming Destiny series. The game honestly took me by a storm, I'm incredibly fascinated by the lore, the competitive multiplayer as well as the art-style. I've always admired Bungie with their passionate employees as well as community, while I've only tried the Halo games a couple times a friends house all of the game seem very well polished filled with exciting story elements as well as being made with passion. Which, with the games I've played for the last few years been absent as well as genuine enjoyment in video games. In short, I very much enjoyed playing a robot space wizard in the beta, I think I'll get more into why I'm excited about this game in a later entry. In terms of the Lego scene, the character designs are very intriguing. These are some of the most detailed decals I've designed yet, the character designs have so much detail, so much character, I very much enjoyed making these. While they did take a tremendous amount of time to finalize. I've been working on this project since the Beta, and since then the Warlock has been re-done 4 times and took the first three weeks to finalize, the Hunter went through three color changes (originally green) and while the most detailed, required the most modified armor parts the Titan only took three days to finalize. I don't even have an explanation for that, I mean the Warlock took so damn long because I wanted it to be so damn perfect because it was my favorite class, but I really thought the Titan was gonna be tedious. Anyway moving on, there's a lot of firsts in this photo, It's with a brand new photo setup, as well as the biggest change of all; vinyl stickers. That's right, for nearly four years now I've only been using paper decals which give this grainy look to them, not anymore! These were imported from the UK and it's probably one of the best purchases I've made all year. They're water resistant, durable, sit well and with the absence of grainy finish I am able to get incredibly amount of detail on these decals. Expect a brand new standard in overall decal quality from me in the future. While I did just start College, do expect some cool content in the future from my photostream. I've got a lot of exciting stuff coming up. I also could've not have taken a photo of this quality with the help of my friend Lene Borchgrevink, who has vast knowledge of both photography and photoshop, and is someone I consider a mentor to a degree. List over third party parts: Decals designed, printed and applied by me. Weapons are modified Brickarms weapons. Tan pauldrons, as well as both small and long vambraces by Brick forge. Titan helmet modified and painted by me. Also, does anyone want to maybe get their hands on a couple of decals? That is if you have any spare Destiny Brickarms weapons like the fusion rifles ;) EDIT: Blogged on the following websites: Kotaku vg247. merlininkazani pushsquare Eurogamer gamergen atomix playground games696 As well as numerous others, list just goes on and on.

I’ve been waiting a long time to blog this. Moko has been teasing us with work-in-progress images of his Neon Genesis Evangelion mecha for the last three years, and the finished model is finally revealed.
