3D printed human thoracic vertebrae (1-12) modeled from a computed tomography scan of an 18 year old male. Prints are actual size and printed with a paper white PLA filament with a matte finish. Models were printed at high resolution (<0.20 mm layers) so layer lines are less visible, but may have some slightly rough areas on supported surfaces (see anterior view photo). Bones will arrive with paper tags with the vertebra number. You may write on the bones to label them if you choose. 3D Viewer: https://www.osteorenderings.com/ml006-thoracic CT source: MEDLYMPH006 of the CT Lymph Nodes Collection(https://wiki.cancerimagingarchive.net/display/Public/CT+Lymph+Nodes) of the TCIA(https://www.cancerimagingarchive.net/) (CTs made available under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License(https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/).)
A novel class of radiopharmaceuticals has proven effective in non-invasively identifying nearly 30 types of malignant tumors, according to research published in the June issue of The Journal of Nuclear Medicine. Using 68Ga-FAPI positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), researchers were able to image a wide variety of tumors with very high uptake and image contrast, paving the way for new applications in tumor characterization, staging and therapy.

SPECT Scan is Used Radioactive tracers that are injected into the body, producing pictures of the targeted organ and determining its function.
This book explains in detail the technical principles of the different imaging methods applied to the skeleton, including radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and radionuclide scans. It also describes the normal and abnormal musculoskeletal tissues using each modality. Considering the anatomical approach and including a lot of annotated images, the book provides concise descriptions of the most common disorders of each region, the optimum imaging technique and the standard treatment. There is significant coverage of trauma in each regional chapter, which includes Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and hand, Pelvic girdle and hip, Knee, Foot and ankle, and spine making it relevant to people who are working in emergency and orthopaedic departments. The final chapter describes the radiological patterns seen with bone tumours and infarcts, osteomyelitis, rickets, arthritis, and osteochondritis dissicans. EMS has become a widely used technology in physical therapy offices and, more recently, workout studios. While EMS can help boost muscle recovery, claims that it helps with weight loss are not supported by research.
Life size, anatomically accurate 3D printed cervical vertebrae 1-3 (atlas, axis, C3) that I segmented from a computed tomography scan. The CT scan was high resolution providing for high detail in the 3D prints. All 7 cervical vertebrae were not present for this individual, but the 3 provided can be used to visualize differences from thoracic and lumbar vertebrae as well as how to distinguish the atlas and axis from other cervical vertebrae. Models are 3D printed in matte paper white PLA filament. Note that the left transverse foramen of the the atlas is open (not damaged). Brain. Coloured computed tomography (CT) scan of a section through a healthy human brain. The heavily-folded cerebrum is seen in vertical cross- section (coronal section). The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and the location of conscious mental activity. It is divided into two hemispheres, at left and right.

Background Mandibular angle ostectomy is a common plastic surgery for facial contouring in East Asians. However, rarely we could find reports on differences between East Asian males and females undergoing this surgery. Objective To describe the differences between East Asian males and females before and after mandibular angle ostectomy. Methods A total of 22 Asian males and 52 Asian females who underwent mandibular angle ostectomy from April 2015 to November 2018 were enrolled. Three-dimensional computed tomography was used to evaluate the preoperative and postoperative data of the mandible. Thirteen clinical data were measured on reconstructed mandibular models. The differences in data between males and females were analyzed to identify the causes of the differences before and after surgery. The follow-up was 6–12 months, and patient satisfaction was also evaluated. Results The ostectomy volume was positively correlated with the distance from the intersection of the occlusal plane and the anterior margin of the mandibular ramus to gonion (MR-Go; female, p
