Mother Nature continues to amaze us every day, even when we fail to treat her with the love and respect she deserves. There are too many dreamy landscapes and mind-boggling animals that exist right outside our urban surroundings, just waiting to be appreciated. But be careful though — if you get too close, things can go from mesmerizing to straight-up terrifying in mere seconds.

Platystele jungermannioides is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Platystele. Plant blooms in the spring with two to three 2.1mm wide flowers.It's petals are so thin that it is only one cell thick and transparent. Plant is found in the lower cloud forest of Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters Keep plant in shade. Plant must be grown mounted on bark with some sphagnum moss. Spray it regularly with pure water, don't let it completely dry out between waterings
