Hello friends! I'm sharing a FREE Card Class this first Saturday in June, 6/1/2024. This month I'm sharing the Sweet Peas stamp set from Stampin' Up! I fell in love with this adorable imagery the minute I saw this set and knew I'd want to create a class around it.Sometimes, stamp sets with smaller images can be more difficult to use in design. In this class, I'm going to share a couple of ways to work with smaller images to give them the spotlight they deserve and make your card designs shine!Y
Oh my goodness, this Bundle is TOO cute! It's called the Sophisticated Sled Bundle and I must tell you, the dies are over the top darling! Let me show you what I mean... Look at the skates in the picture above. The dies cut out the white skates with little slits for the laces. Then there are other dies for the laces. I used Pretty in Pink cardstock, cut out the laces, and then tucked them into the little slits in the skates. They fit perfectly and look so realistic. There are separate dies for the blades, and I used

Click Here to Vote for My Card Hello and welcome to my blog. I've made this beautiful gatefold thank you card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. I'm asking you to please vote for my card so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #4. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. It will turn red when you have voted. The card I'm featuring is made with Sending Love Dies and Nature's Sweetness Designer Series Paper. I am going to show you a selection of pictures of this card then provide you with a link to a free tutorial with all the dimensions and instruction. To assist you with constructing this card, I have provided links to all the supplies I used. The cardcase is an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Pebbled Path cardstock and the next layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece from the Nature's Sweetness Designer Series Paper pack. I wanted to show you that the letter is just placed in the mailbox. I'll probably adhere it before I mail give it to someone. There is a die in the die set that cuts out the letter. The mailbox was cut from the 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper (page 127 in the Annual Catalog). I liked the shine this paper gave the mailbox making it look realistic. The flag was cut from Real Red cardstock. All of these dies are in the die set. I ran a Garden Green vine and grass up and around the mailbox. The vine die and leaves are from the Notes of Nature Dies and the grass from Sending Love Dies. Look at this! The mailbox door folds up! So cute! You have the option to send it with the letter showing or just close it up. You could put a little surprise in there! Click on the box below to download your free tutorial. Links to supplies are listed below. Visit my YouTube Channel to see the construction of this card from the beginning to end. Just click on the picture below. Hello stamping friends, it's time for week 15 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Cajun Craze, a deep rust colour that is part of the Regals colour family. For tonight's card I have used the Changing Leaves Bundle. This bundle includes a stamp set, matching dies and a 3D embossing folder. I used a combination of all of these products to make tonight's card. Cajun Craze is a colour I don't usually use a lot but I think it works well with Petal Pink and copper. I embossed the Petal Pink background with the 3D embossing folder. I cut out the largest leaf shape from Cajun Craze card stock and embossed it with the co ordinating folder. To highlight the texture on the leaves I used a Sponge Dauber to apply Copper Enamel Effects to the raised areas. I coloured a piece of Sheer White and Silver ribbon with my Cajun Craze Blends Marker. The greeting is heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and cut with one of the Changing Leaves Dies. All of the products used to make this card are available from my online store. Now it's time to see what my very talented stamping friend Christine Blain has to share with us. If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants. We love playing and using very visual ways of teaching so, as part of our lesson on the Lord's Prayer yesterday with our 3-5s, we played a matching game with some special cards. I had printed off the sheet below and coloured it in, colour photocopied it 3 times (saving a lot of time and colouring effort!), then laminated and cut the cards out. The symbols on the cards tie together with the items we had in the 'story bag' for the prayer that we were also using in that session- click here to see the contents of the bag. Click here to print a copy of the cards. We sent the sheet home with the children so that they could colour in and make their own cards. Hopefully the symbols will help them to remember the content of the different parts of the prayer! For ideas for teaching the Lord's prayer to older children click here
I did my first altered puzzle! Altered puzzles have been another one of those items on my long list of "want to try" projects... Well, I finally did it! VOILA! It was a 24 piece Winnie the Pooh puzzle that I got from Dollar General. What's great is that it came in a great little tin that I can alter later. So for those of you out there who like to (or have ever wanted to) alter puzzles or Altoids tins, go to the Easter section of Dollar General for a super deal! Or just go find any other random puzzle, they all work great! A doodle monsterpiece with some flower confetti. I used my cheapo rotary tool to sand down the piece edges after putting paper on them. When you use the exacto knife to cut around the piece, there are still rough paper pieces that kinda overhang the edges. Sanding them with the little tool really helped the pieces actually fit back together again. And some wire elements on this piece. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out... Honestly, I had a hard time focusing and actually FINISHING it. I just had to think of each piece as a puzzle piece-shaped inchie. That made it a little easier to complete, even though I think I slacked on several pieces. Anyhoo, happy Tuesday! I hope springtime is treating you well, and my condolences to those of you with allergies right now...

This is an updated file from an old post. I use these almost every week. Anytime I have extra time, these are used for a quick Bible review. You can put them in any order and delete any you don't want to use. This set is two per page and in color only. Click here to download. This pack has been updated from the above pack. It is a bit more ink friendly. This is better for your non-readers. There is a picture only. Print the sheet with the picture (2 per page), then insert back into the print to print the question and answer on the back. Click here to print. ** This is the latest updated pack! If you printed the above pack, you can add the first 4 pages (= 2 pages printed on front and back) with a couple of additions. These are questions I just always ask as we do the cards, but decided to add them as flash cards for others. Click here to download the newest set. This pack has the same questions, but without the graphics. These are plain black & white as shown, but can be printed on color paper if you prefer. Click here to download the black & white set without graphics. Click here to see the first edition of the flash cards. And the early elementary set. Another original set without graphics.

With the spring season here, it’s not a wonder why flower tattoos are trending on social media. As with animal tattoos, flower-related ones try to capture spring in ink and on the skin. A flower tattoo encapsulates the many good things that come with spring — rebirth, blooming, and colors. However, it’s important to be careful when choosing the most creative flower tattoo designs to put on your skin.
