In case you somehow haven't heard, there's a new superhero in town, and not only is she a she, she happens to be extremely lovely—and we found out some of the secrets to her super-natural, super-gorgeous makeup. The CBS show Supergirl premiered last night, scoring some of the best ratings of any show this fall. Meanwhile, Supergirl herself, actress Melissa Benoist, was making the rounds on the TV-show and press-junket circuit from morning until night, changing up her makeup all along the way. "She has such a fresh face and, unlike a lot of young girls, isn't into layers of contour and strips over strips of lashes," says makeup artist Matin, who worked with Benoist (also known for her role on Glee) for all of the events on yesterday's marathon schedule.
