Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started. I love a good challenge and this one was just that, LOL! At first all I could see was a door with all those panels, but then started to go in a different direction and I love it. To begin, I stamped Romantic Script Background on a Sweet Tooth card stock base and built some shaker elements out of those panels. To create my shaker elements, I heat embossed Roses All Over Background on Cotton Candy card stock, and used foam tape, Heat Resistant Acetate, 6mm and 4mm Sweetheart Mix sequins, Silver Seed beads, and Power Outage Prills as my filler. The card base is also the back of the shaker elements and I added Stitched Heart STAX to the front along with a sentiment from From the Heart Stamp Set heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics to finish off. And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week! Thanks for stopping by! See you soon! All products from My Favorite Things unless otherwise noted. Stamps: From the heart, Roses All Over Background, Romantic Script Background Die-namics: Gift Box Cover-Up, Stitched Heart STAX, Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Dye Ink: Black Licorice Specialty Inks: Versamark MFT Card Stock: Sweet Tooth, Cotton Candy, Wild Cherry, Black Licorice Specialty Papers: Heat Resistant Acetate Supplies: foam mounting tape, white detail embossing powder, Multi Medium Matte Glue, 6mm Sweetheart sequins, 4mm Sweetheart sequins, Silver Shimmer Seed Beads, Power Outage Prills Tools: Smart Grid Paper Pad, MISTI, Square Bone Folder, Scor-Buddy, QuickStik Pick-up Tool, Precision Tip Glue Applicator Bottle, Embossing Magic, craft tweezers Other: heat tool

Good Morning, Stampers! This week, the Create with Stampin' Friends are trimming it down! We are showcasing minimalist cards for those times when you need a quick card or making large quantities and you need a more simple design. We have some fun ideas to share with you! I love the Spotlight on Naure for this type of stamping! The bundle includes lots of different images which gives you lots of different ways to create! I started with a large die cut circle out of a scrap piece of paper. This became my mask for the lightly brushed circle in the center of the card. Once I brushed all the ink, I stamped the crosshatch image on the inside. Finally, I stamped the remaining images and colored using Stampin' Blends. Hard to believe there are no layered pieces of cardstock or designer paper! Of course, I had to finish it off with a little bit of BLING! SU!pplies: Stamps: Spotlight on Nature, Simply Said Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Soft Seafoam Paper: Very Vanilla Accessories: Spotlight on Nature dies, Metallic Adhesive Sequins, Blending Brushes Happie Stampin'! What do you think? Ready to see more ideas? Go NEXT to see what Connie created or BACK to see what Libby created!

#KOCreationcards #wholelotoflovely #youmovemebundle #flutteringhearts #myheartflutters #cardmaking #stampinup #pulltabcard Welcome back everyone 😊 Today I get to craft just for me ...Oh it feels good too lol. I found a few things in the catalogue that I fell in love with as soon as I saw them and purchased athose items as soon as I was allowed. This is the first time I have had to actually play with them! The items that I fell in love with are the 'You Move Me' bundle and the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. I am entering this card into the Global Design Project challenge this week. The challenge for this week is a sketch #GDP094 Here is my card My Heart Flutters #KOCreationcards #wholelotoflovely #youmovemebundle #flutteringhearts #myheartflutters #cardmaking #stampinup #pulltabcard What a gorgeous pairing these two turned out to be! My card base is basic black with a layer of gold foil under the sheet of trimmed DSP. I used the Sweet and Sassy framelits to create the hearts frame over the top of the slotted air con style slots. I cut a matching heart into the DSP using the framleits, glueing the slots with the heart frame from underneath. Trimming any excess slots away from the edges. I then added the gold foil layer. I trimmed this so that it has only a 2mm edge showing around the DSP. I added two fussy cut flowers along with two sassy die cut hearts, one in black and one in gold. My sentiment is from the 'You Move Me' stamp set and has been stamped in craft ink mixed with Island Indigo to give a hint of blue. Angeled and Inside View #KOCreationcards #wholelotoflovely #youmovemebundle #flutteringhearts #myheartflutters #cardmaking #stampinup #pulltabcard The gorgeous little fluttering hummingbird was stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Peekaboo Peach on whisper white. I did try black card stock, but the colours just wouldn't stand out enough. I have added a little video to show how it looks with the flutttering action using the pull tab Have you ever heard the saying ...'My heart flutters like a caged bird!'...it can be used to express feelings of love. I am trying to get that quote/sayong across with my card. 'My heart flutters like a caged bird'. Sometimes I see things when creating that doesn't translate, but I think this really does come across once you pull the tab and see the action. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to create this gorgeous card with, then please use the carousel below. It has every item listed and is linked directly to my store. Hello and welcome to my blog. This is my card to entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for February 2022 - the theme is Thank you. This is a cheer you up sort of card - the colours are so fresh and it was a joy to make! So much so that I made lots of very similar ones for a team swap. The card is quite simple but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Layering DSP and dies cuts together is a classic card making technique - I've used the Stitched Rectangles and the Layering Contours (which are some of my favourite dies) along with the new Tropical Layers dies. The Basic White card layer nests neatly inside the scalloped layer and has been embossed using the Wintry 3-d Embossing Folder. I was surprised how much the texture of the leaves in the embossing folder resemble some of the leaves on the patterned paper. So, even though leaves in this suite are by any means wintry, quite the opposite in fact, they complement each other well. And, I do like the added texture! The leaves and sentiment are both stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and then the finishing touches include enhanching the leaf detail with a swoosh of Wink of Stella, a Linen Thread bow and some of my favourite gold Metallic Pearls. Popping the decorated panel up on Dimensionals completes my leafy thank you card perfectly. As mentioned at the beginning I am entering Kylie's International Project Highlights and you can follow the link to the gallery where you will find heaps more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of the month. I would love to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? Click on the little heart on my card, which is number 13. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hello, and welcome. The ladybugs, and sentiment from the Love You Lots Host Set on these cards were stamped with our Basic Black Ink. The circles were cut from the Layering Circles Framelits. I am in need of replenishing my card stash as well as using up some odds, and ends I have on hand. I plan on using the rest of the images from our exclusive Host Set, Love You Lots to make more everyday type cards. I made these three cards in about 30 minutes. I also used an image from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set. The black spots on the middle card is from that set. I've never used many of the stamps from that set. It's time to ink them up. I'm finding that with all the negativity I see on TV that stamping, and crafting is my go to place for peace, and quiet time. Try it for yourself! It's great therapy. Love You Lots Clear-Mount Stamp Set 141801 Price: $9.00 *This host stamp set is only available with Stampin’ Rewards. Perpetual Birthday Calendar Photopolymer Stamp Set 137167 Price: $24.00

Can you stand another card featuring the poppies? I'm in love and am having trouble stopping... So here is one more card with more of the pigment sprinkled-flowers that I showed you here: I have a lot of family birthdays to celebrate in January, so I made another birthday card. This white-on-white card with a bright splash of color will certainly brighten someone's day! I started with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the greeting on a smaller piece of Whisper White and then ran it through an embossing machine with the new Stone Embossing Folder. This is a FREE folder coming in January for Sale-A-Bration, and you won't want to miss it! The flowers were cut from Watercolor paper that was spritzed with water and splashed with Pigment Sprinkles in Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. I cut them out with the Painted Labels dies, adding some Lovely Lipstick and Shaded Spruce cardstock. The layout is very simple and can easily be duplicated with any flower die. For the inside - I had another flower - and I just stamped the leaves and colored them with a Blender Pen and Shaded Spruce ink: The Peaceful Poppies suite of products is coming January 3rd.
