With Father's Day quickly approaching, I thought I'd share for the Dad's in your life, using the A Good Man stamp set. Show the good men in your life how much you appreciate them with a handmade, heartfelt card or gift you make using the A Good Man Stamp Set. Great for Father’s Day, birthdays, or any day you want to recognize and celebrate your men. As you can see, A Good Man stamp set includes several sentiments, including the one I'm using today. My eye was drawn to it right away. It's a perfect sentiment for Father's Day. How'd...

I took the chance to escape one of the hottest days this summer by retreating to my craft room. I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration. Really, the sketch was an excuse to play because I'd been wanting to try out Peaceful Moments using a mix of gold foil and pigment sprinkles. I started by using the Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody pigment sprinkles on a wet piece of Fluid 100 watercolour paper and letting them do their magic. I built the rest of the card around them. I'm really pleased with the vibrancy and colour variation in them. I didn't completely adhere the gold foil to the bases because I like the look you get when the edges are free and floating. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. You can leave a message in the comments or contact me using any of the methods listed in the Contact Me tab at the top of the page. Hi! Welcome to the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team Monthly Creative Showcase. The theme for this month’s showcase is Mother’s Day. Under the current conditions Mother’s Day this year is going to be completely different to any other Mother’s Day celebrations. I'm not sure yet how we will celebrate! My mum lives in a different state and my MIL lives in a little town nearly an hour away from us. I see several FaceTime calls on the horizon for Mother's Day! I guess a mother's job is to keep her family safe and healthy, so we will do that by staying in our little household bubble. The Art With Heart Team are hoping to share a little Mother’s Day love and inspiration with you tonight. My Mother-In-Law loves her cruising - although that might change! When I thought of what card I could make for. her, I decide to go with a tropical theme to fit with the cruises she's taken recently. I started by stamping a heap of images from Timeless Tropical in Memento ink. I then coloured them using my Watercolour Pencils, blending with my old favourite, Wink Of Stella. The piece they are layered on comes from the temporarily retired Nature's Thoughts Dies. I sponged the top half with Pool Party ink, and the bottom half with So Saffron, hoping it would look like sand and sky. I googled frangipanis to see what colours to use, and I found a gorgeous variety called Darwin Monsoon. They are tricolour, so I used Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight to colour the blooms. I layered a couple of ribbons under the sentiment, which is a shortened image from the Beautiful Day stamp set. I didn't have any Rich Razzleberry ribbon, so I coloured a length of Whisper White Seam Binding with my Dark Rich Razzleberry Blend. I used the same DSP from the front on the inside. Both pieces of Tropical Oasis DSP have been dry embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The inside sentiment is from Timeless Tulips. I hope my MIL likes her tropical Mother's Day card, even though she won't be going on any tropical cruises for a very ling time! That's all from me tonight, now you're off to see the wonderful creations of the lovely Rebecca Jacovou. Bye for now, Tina If you have a broken link or have come to this blog hop midway, you can view all the participants below: Rebecca Jacovou Vicki Boucher Rachel Woollard Sharon Davern Catherine Proctor Kate Morgan Andrea Sargent Kathryn Mangelsdorf Rachel Palmieri Caroline Manwaring Michele Taylor Tina Gillespie

This is another card with the Swirly Frames that the Stamp Review Crew featured a couple days ago. This one uses the Tropical Oasis Suite that is on page 39 of the Jan-Jun 2020 Mini Catalog, and it starts FRIDAY!!! I just love the old woodie wagons in the Tropical Oasis DSP! I have a vague memory of my paternal grandfather owning a woodie when I was very young (many decades ago). I chose the larger rectangle frame to spotlight the wagon, cutting it out with Stitched Rectangles, and then backing it up with two other prints from the same DSP pack. "Wooden" this make a great masculine birthday card? (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) SU!P FRIENDS! Back today with another bunch of Double Wonder cards using the Clubhouse Suite. I think these are my favorites! Make sure to go back a couple days to my April 28 post to see the measurements for cutting. Here are the supplies I used to create these 11 awesome cards: SU! Trimmer; Clubhouse Stamp Set; Night of Navy Stamp Pad; Country Club DSP; Night of Navy, Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Garden Green & Whisper White Cardstock; Tailored Tag Punch; Country Club Elements; Country Club Twine Combo Pack; SNAIL; Glue Dots; Dimensionals. Again, I kept the supplies to a minimum using only 1 stamp pad, 1 punch and 1 stamp set. You'll make these 4 cards with the first cut of DSP. You'll have so much fun mixing and matching patterns! You'll also make 4 of this style. Look how perfectly these Country Club Elements finish these cards! And you can get them for less than $4 on the Last Chance List! Here's a view of the inside of the card. You'll make 2 of this design. I inked up the stamp and laid the wood element directly on the pad. You can flip it over to get a second chance, or you can cut an image from the DSP to adhere to it if you strike out, haha. So simple but so awesome! And this is the bonus card you'll make with the leftover pieces. April has been a rough month for sales, so I'm giving away a Grab Bag with every $50 order, but today is the last day! You can place your order online here:) https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/. Please use HOST CODE: CSRPE64V. Or contact me today so you can get in on the Grab Bag! You can get some great deals by shopping from the Last Chance List and the Clearance Rack! I'd love to help you get a big bag full of goodies! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
