Hello fellow stampers! Welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Stampin’ Up! blog hop for 2023! Each week until 27 November the Art With Heart team will showcase Christmas cards and projects to inspire you to create your own. Stampin’ Up! have released a few more products under the Online Exclusives section where some items coordinate nicely with those in the September - December Mini catalogue. One of these products is the Traditions of St. Nick DSP. One of the sheets contain images of the traditional Saint Nicholas and these can be die cut with matching dies from the Saint Nicholas stamp and die bundle. Super easy! The Christmas trees are from the same sheet and have been fussy cut. The card is normal size and opens in the middle where each flap has a Mossy Meadow card stock base and a DSP layer. The patterned paper sides contain a few sheets with the rich brocade pattern that complements the traditional images of St. Nick. The centre panel with the Noel greeting was lying around from a previous project using the Joy of Noel stamp set. I have stamped with Real Red ink and gold-embossed the ‘Joyous’ sentiment. This panel locks behind St. Nick (raised on dimensionals) to close the card. When you open the card the centre panel displays the same brocade panel with the Basic White panel for written messages. The panels on either side have a DSP panel mounted on Mossy Meadow card stock. The inside sentiment is from Saint Nicholas stamp set and inked with Real Red. Good afternoon! It is time for another technique challenge over on the SSINKspiration blog and this month we're using the sunburst technique which I never used before but is super easy, and a great way to show off lots of patterns of paper (and use up scraps). I used Old Olive cardstock for the cardbase and then added Early Espresso as the cardfront and the mat for my sunburst. I cut several pieces of Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper and then cut them in half diagonally (the Stampin' Trimmer is perfect for this) and then started piecing the design together. Now I'll admit, I planned on my card being tall but after I put all the pieces together I noticed my deer on the one piece would have been sideways so I just flipped the card and now my deer are right side up. After I added all the pieces I used my trimmer again to cut off all the excess so I had nice clean edges. To finish off the card I used the Timeless Tidings stamp set for the greeting and stamped in in Shady Spruce ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits. I used the Layering Circles Framelits and Real Red cardstock to cut a scalloped circle mat for the greeting and then attached the piece with dimensionals. I love this card because it lets the designer series paper really be the star and you don't need lots of supplies to make it. This is a beautiful Christmas Creche easel card. Navy blue card stock has been used to make the easel card. The figures are all die cut cream card stock. There are three layers/dimensions. The star is gold shiny card stock. There is a sentiment on the inside on the left. The figures have been attached to three separate folds. The card is 4" x 6" (11cm x 15 cm) I have been making greeting cards for 10 years, and really enjoy working with paper! I started selling my cards at outdoor markets, then indoor markets. I now want to sell online. 90% of my cards have distressed edges, meaning there are not any white edges showing. All cards are shipped via letter mail without tracking. All items are make and stored in a smoke free environment.

Hello all! I love a good fun fold design and this one is easy to create AND impressive too! This is a window card with a fun pop-up element on the inside. The stamp set used is an oldie but a goodie - Illuminated Christmas (2018). You can re-create this card using any small image you have that will fit inside the circle! Here's the inside. The card base is a standard A2 size cut from Very Vanilla Thick cardstock - 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored on the long side at 4-1/4". The inside is a separate piece of Very Vanilla regular weight cardstock, 8" x 5-1/4", scored at 4" & 6". It's folded into a Z-fold and adhered inside the card base only on the largest 5-1/4" x 4" section. There's a piece of designer series paper 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" adhered to the center section of the Z-fold that coordinates with the front of the card. I used a beautiful retired paper called Brightly Gleaming that has copper accents. The circle on the card front is die-cut after the designer paper is attached. I used a 2-3/8" circle die, but yours could be a little larger or smaller. Whatever image you choose to place inside the circle should be stamped on another piece of cardstock and die-cut using the same circle die. Spread liquid glue on the area shown in the photo and position your image inside the circle (while the card is closed - as shown here). Hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue dries. I also cut a slightly larger circle with the middle cut out to create a frame for the three Wise Men image. The focal image is heat-embossed with copper. This card uses just 3 colors -Very Vanilla, Night of Navy and Copper. Clean and simple! As this card uses an older stamp set, I'm sharing at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog. Love the idea of a challenge created specifically to use old favorites! Here are the Stampin' Up! products I used on this card that are still available for purchase. Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing my card for the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team. Our theme this month is Christmas. I adore the Joy of Noel Bundle, it is such a pretty set and so versatile. I water-coloured the leafy image and layered it up on some die-cut white foliage and a panel embossed with the Distressed Tile. A white Baker's Twine bow, a trio of Iridescent Pearls and an embossed sentiment put the finishing touches to my card. Christmas card embroidered on recicled paper. I made it with embroidery thread, glass beads and recicle paper 180 gr/m2. The back is a strong 250 gr/m2 paper that ensure a steady cardboard. You can write front and back. The card size is 75 mm x 110 mm. The beautiful yellow envelope, included, is 80 mm x 115 mm. It's been over a week since my last post. I was on a mini vacation at +LaDenna Lawrence 's in Amarillo. We had a great time as usual-eating, crafting, shopping and laughing. I've also been working on updating my "Where I Party" page. I haven't figured out the html stuff yet and don't know how to make all my buttons uniform so I ended up doing links. It will have to do until I learn a little more! While at LaDenna's we did several side-by-side challenges. It's always interesting to see what each of us do using the same materials. We got new Cricut cartridges and made cards. Neither of us had ever made window cards; but they came out so pretty!! We used Creative Cards and Wild Cards 2. I love the way these bird cage window cards turned out! Inside of cards My favorite of the above window cards is Santa peeking through the window! (oops-got it in there twice!) Inside This is an altered Altoid tin. Again, I used my new cartridge. We went "shopping" in LaDenna's garage and found some old frames. I made the birdcage (I love them lately!) from the new cart. I can already see this cartridge is going to be used a LOT! The 'shelf' is painted and glittered cardboard. And I think this is my favorite piece of all! As most of you know-I LOVE coffee! This will be perfect in my kitchen once I get it painted! Love it!!! Here are a few of LaDenna's items so that you can see our different perceptions of each project. This is her Altoid tin. I love the lady! One of her re-cycled frames. This turned out super cute!! And the other re-cycled frame. We both did coffee projects; but they are so totally different! Hi Stamping Friends!! One of the first things I just "had to have" out of the Holiday Mini Catalog was the Holiday Stocking die and the coordinating Stocking Accents die. My Big Shot is one of my most used tools and I love all the Stampin' Up! exclusive dies. Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White, Frostwood Lodge DSP Accessories: Holiday Stocking and Accents die, Snow Flurry EF, Eyelet Scallop Punch, Mini Jingle Bells I love these little stockings because they are the perfect size to slide a gift card into. This particular stocking is going to hubby's grandma with a Mimi's Cafe gift card tucked inside. If you haven't ordered these dies yet, you still have until January 2nd. Don't miss out! We just found out this week that the Stocking Builder Punch will not carry over to the big catty. So you never know how long they will be offering things. As promised, I have another card for you using our Wild About Flowers stamp set. This one was inspired by my love of 3 little stamped circles. In the past, I've made a lot of cards that have this design and it was fun to get back to doing one again. When I've made this style of card in the past, I've always used punches. To fit the stamped flowers for this card, I had to use my Circles Collection Framelits, to get the right size circle that I wanted. I added an extra layer to the front of the card, attached with dimensionals, just to add more interest. You can barely see it, but I scored several lines, running directly across the card front (under the circles), for added texture. The text is from my Tin of Cards stamps. I added some linen thread for the finishing touch. I even had ends long enough to tie into a cute little bow. I love how this card turned out. It's really quite simple, but the added touches really step it up. Once again, to show how the stamping world sometimes thinks a lot alike (guided by stamp images), I later found that Dawn Olchefske created a very similar card.
