Hello friends! I'm back with fun Halloween card for you! I'm loving this fun fold! I can't wait to do more with this one. I received a card with this fun fold from a swap I did in March at Stampin' Up!s OnStage Event. The original card was from Brandy Cox and I loved her fold so I tucked it aside to do at a later time. The Potions and Spells Bundle is the perfect bundle for this fun fold! I love the watercolor look of the DSP and used that for my color inspiration. I used Stampin' Blends to color my cauldron and bubbles. I covered the bubbles with Wink of Stella for some much needed sparkle. The card opens with both sides folding out. Super cute!! If you love this fun fold, check back on Friday for another variation of it. Make your own. We are just over a week from launching the new September-December Mini Catalog, or Holiday Catalog as I generally refer to it. The Mini Catalog will launch on September 4, 2024 and there are lots of amazing products in there! This bundle, More Than Autumn is one of them and it's an incredible bundle! So many greetings, so many images and amazing dies! I know you'll love it! I wanted to use it in some non-traditional fall colors. I've seen great projects with this but they're all featured in those rich fall colors but I want to showcase how great this set will be year round, not just fall. Let's face it when we buy supplies we want to use them for more than a couple of months, we need to stretch our money to make these products work year round. Not to worry this bundle is perfect of that! So I went with some bright, fun colors. I colored my doughnuts in a few different 'frosting' flavors using Stampin' Blends. They all look so yummy! The greetings in this bundle are amazing, you can build so many different sentiments. I fussy cut around the word 'doughnuts' we don't have a die for that but if you didn't want to fussy cut you could stamp it directly on the circle. You might notice another new product on this card. The Forever Plaid Embossing Folder is stellar! You'll want to add that your year round use too! Buy the More Than Autumn Bundle and the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder when the catalog launches on September 4, 2024. All other supplies are available now in my Online Store. I have a full supply list below. Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!! It's so fun and there's plenty of room to make amazing scenes like in this card! In addition to the Jungle Pals Set and Dies I'm using one more Sale-a-Bration freebie, the Most Adored DSP. This DSP is perfect for Valentines and it has amazing gold foil accents. My backgrounds on the three panels are all created with Blending Brushes and some ink. I wanted to keep them simple with a faux watercolor look to them. There's lots of room to write a message on the panel between the alligator and tiger. I colored all my images with Stampin' Blends. Colors are all listed in the supply list below. The Jungle Pals Stamp Set doesn't have any greetings so I pulled out the new Mini Alphabet Dies in the Mini Catalog for my fun custom greeting. I added some hearts with some Petal Pink glimmer paper from the Three Color Glimmer Paper Pack, this is an Online Exclusive in my Online Store. I love all of these sweet animals. If you love this fun fold then make sure to check my blog tomorrow for a different version of this fun fold! I have another adorable card to share featuring the Charming Duck Pond Bundle. If this bundle is on your wishlist make sure you check out my June Card Crate, I'm featuring this bundle and the cards are soooo fun! Grab the Card Crate Class To Go today! This card will not be included in the class it's too cute not to share though! I used lots of the dies in the bundle to create this card. The greeting and the cat tails stamped in the background are from the set. Everything else is from the dies. The dies make it quick and easy to make incredible scenes! I used some Stampin' Blends to color some of my die cut elements. I think it adds so much amazing eye candy to the card. I added a little Wink Of Stella to my ducks to make the shimmer a little. I love the sparkle. You can see all the depth that was added to the die cuts with a little strategic coloring with Stampin' Blends. I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store. Don't forget to check out my June Card Crate Class To Go for even more amazing inspiration with this bundle. This card began a long time ago, probably months ago at my last punch art class, I have a friend who follows my blog and she asked if I could do cat punch art, or if I had any examples, something along those lines. I know I've done cats in the past, but finding it is another issue, it's almost easier to make a new card, so month's later that's what I did! It doesn't have a greeting, I will add something to it eventually. But in my search for 'cat' cards, I was really searching for a funny cat pun to put on the card, I came across this card. It was so cute, the layout was adorable and the idea behind it was so cute I had to make it!! The card I was inspired by uses a stamped image, I thought, I COULD carve one, but no that's not going to happen, I'll just do it in punches! So the little kitty, adorable as he is, peeks through the window on the front of the card, his bottom hangs on the inside. His body and paws are just circle punches. His ears are the triangle punch, I just rounded the tip. His tail, inside of the ears and nose are just cut with my snips. The best part of the card, and SU if you're listening please, please, please, please, please (is that too many please's??) carry this product. Now I'm a die hard SU purist, I rarely ever ever ever even go into the paper aisles in and big box craft store, why would I? I have access to the BEST products on the market.....but I was in search of this product and forced myself to go. They're little plastic springs, I put between the front of the cat and rear of the cat. The spring makes his bottom wobbly. SHUT. THE. FRONT. DOOR. GET. OUT. OF. TOWN. THAT'S. TOO. CUTE!!! His bottom wobbles without touching it (I type the weirdest sentences!) but if you were to wiggle his tail his little bottom becomes a wobbly bottom. So cute!!! So again my plea to SU, please carry these!! I have a million and one ideas that I need to make and I want to buy them from you so please, please, please carry them!!!! This ends the begging portion of the blog post.....until tomorrow.... Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!
Today I'm sharing a really fun card that features our brand new Potions and Spells Bundle. This bundle is coming in the Online Exclusive Launch coming on July 3, 2024. Today I'm sharing a fun waterfall card. This card is full of movement and will amaze your friends! Don't be intimated it's a lot easier than it looks! I'm breaking down all the steps for you in my video below. I love these types of cards and when I saw how many fun images and dies were in this bundle I wanted to incorporate as many as I could into one card. The great part of a waterfall card is that you get to make four smaller panels, they all coordinate but they're all a little different which is so fun! As you pull the tab on the bottom the card flips or 'waterfalls' through all the panels. It's a fun interactive card that everyone will love. The images and dies are all from the new bundle. I die a variety of stamping, coloring and die cutting on each panel. Check out the video for details on each of the panels. Make your own: Berry Burst Base 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Waterfall Mechanism 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" score the long side at 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2" and 4" Layers 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" (four pieces) Strip 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" DSP 5" x 3 3/4" Basic White 2 1/4" 2 1/4" (four pieces); 2 1/4" x 1/2" Scraps of Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Berry Burst, Pecan Pie and Crushed Curry Make sure you check out the video below for all the details on this project. Over the weekend I held my June in person class. If you're local in the Albuquerque, NM area I'd love for you to attend a class. We have lots of fun. My guests get to make five cards, if you place an order prior/at/after to the class you get a bonus 6th card. So I have 6 amazing cards to share. All the cards this month feature DSP in fun ways, a few of them are fun folds, because DSP makes the best fun fold cards!! The first uses the Wildly Flowering DSP for a fun fold card. This DSP is sooooo stunning in person! I think it's one of my favorites! I love how this card folds and opens. I don't have a supply list or measurements for any of these cards. That is a perk reserved only to my guests who attend my class. The next card uses the To Market DSP along with the Market Goodness Bundle. This was the bonus card for my guests who placed orders. I love this fun variation on a Z-Fold. We used lots of different DSP patterns from the To Market package. I love the variation of patterns but LOVE that they all coordinate perfectly!!! The next card uses the Full of Life DSP. This card is the best example of how to use up scraps. I used twelve 1" squares for the background. Everyone's card way different and fun and they all looked incredible! I used the Beach Day Set and Dies for fun focal points. LOVE IT! The Mediterranean Blooms DSP and Citrus Blooms Bundle are soooo amazing. This was another DSP that I was amazed with in person. It is soooo stunning!!! This is another fun fold card where the DSP can really shine! The Country Woods DSP is the perfect DSP for that rustic feel. There's so many fun textures in this DSP that I couldn't choose one! That's why this card is perfect! Use a bunch of them! Finally, we used the Country Lace DSP for a simply sympathy card. We all need sympathy cards. Folding one corner up is a fun way to showcase both sides of the DSP. Plus this color combo is just so soothing. Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!
Dapper Denim is one of the new In Colors. It's so pretty, it's darker and richer than Pacific Point but not as dark as Night of Navy. I just love it, I'll be reaching for it a lot! Plus it pairs beautifully with gold! I used one of the flowers in swirly bird and heat embossed them with some gold on the card base. I also heat embossed the greeting and set it aside. I took a label from the Lots of Labels framelits and stamped another flower from the Swirly Bird set. To jazz up the tag a little I layered some glitter and some Dapper Denim cardstock on the bottom. I attached the greeting and some ribbon. Let's talk about this yummy Ruched Ribbon! You'll need it, it's yummy and so pretty, and soft and fun to work with. You'll want it! Trust me! We are two weeks away from the new catalog debuting! I can't wait!!!!! Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!!!

One of my enduring and favourite things to do is to stamp with flower, leaf and texture images and create floral arrangements that can be used for paper craft projects. I used a couple of stamp sets that will be available in August 2021. One is called Gorgeous Leaves, and the other is going to be available as a freebie when you spend £90, it is called Delicate Dahlias. The other floral stamp that I used is called Color and Contour and it's available in the Annual catalogue 2021-2022 For those of you who may be new to my blog, I have been using and showing people how to use stamps for the last 10 years. Over that time I have enjoyed my personal development as a stamp and paper craft artist, and also sharing that on YouTube through my tutorials. Here is how I stamped the wreath The colours I used where: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite and Sahara Sand The following day I cut up the wreath! I know that still fills some of my viewers with dread, but the saying "you can't make a cake without cracking some eggs" comes to mind. Here are the cards I made... The beautiful grey leaves were cut using a new die set called Intricate Leaves, it accompanies the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set, The scalloped rectangles are cut using Scalloped Contours Dies. Can you spot the gold leaf accents? They are from the Artistic Impressions Ephemera pack, they are laser cut pieces perfect for embellishing cards. and here is the tutorial... Sale-a-Bration ends in four days on February 28, 2021. After that these amazing Sale-a-Bration items will be gone. Get them today!! I have another tri fold card to share with you today. I've shared a few fun fold cards featuring the amazing Sale-a-Bration paper. With the Flower and Field Sale-a-Bration DSP I shared this angled tri fold card. I shared this fun gatefold card with the Paper Blooms DSP. Finally, also with the Paper Blooms DSP I shared this pocket card. Today I have one more to share with you. I'm sharing a trifold window card. This is a your basic trifold card but there's a window in the first panel. It's a fun and different way to showcase amazing DSP and some fun elements. For this first card I paired up the In Bloom Bundle with the Paper Blooms DSP. I'm also using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Heal Your Heart. This set has some amazing greetings and just look at that amazing font! I love that the greeting is on the second panel. It makes for a really fun and interactive card. I also used the same supplies simply switching up my stamp set and DSP to make another cute trifold window card. This time I'm using the Berry Blessings Bundle that you can earn free during Sale-a-Bration. I also pulled in my Sweet Strawberry set for a greeting. To make the trifold window card you'll need a card base that is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and some DSP that is 5 1/4" x 12", score it at 4" and 8" on the long side. Cut a window in the first panel. I also framed my windows by making a frame with two dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I cut the largest and 2nd largest circles together to make the sweet frame. You can add some white cardstock to the inside of the card to finish it off and to have a place to write a message. I'd love to know if you liked the Paper Blooms or Berry Blessings Card more. I have an amazing Sneak Peek to share today! This is the new Leaf Collection Background Stamp. We were given this set as an all attendee giveaway at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage demonstrator event. I love a good background set and this one is sooo good! It can stand alone on a card like mine, or use it as a background on any card. I'm also featuring some new DSP, this is the Lily Pond Lake DSP. I LOVE it! So cute! This was a prize patrol, I actually traded my prize patrol with a friend for this one. We each loved each others more so I was happy to trade! I added some splatters with my Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends and there's some gold splatter on there too. I used the Gilded Leafing, this is retiring so get it now! To make the leafing stick I used some Multipurpose glue, watered down a little. I used an old paint brush and splattered the glue onto my background. Let it dry, it will try tacky. After it's dry you can add your leafing to the tacky glue. I love the organic look it has with the splatters some are bigger, some are smaller. Heads up that gorgeous Simply Elegant Trim and Festive Pearls will be retiring too, snag those in my Online Store before they're gone. If you want to see more new products coming join my team today! Demonstrators can see the entire new catalog and we'll be able to preorder in April. It's a great time to join! Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!! I'm back with another fun video today! I have the cutest little treat for you to share with all your friends, co-workers and more! I'm using the new Tune In Bundle, this is such a fun bundle for everyone! There's a bag of microwaveable popcorn that you can slide out easily. My popcorn is from Costco. I used Poppy Parade to match the outside of the popcorn bag. I'm using a fun retro color palette too! These are really fun together, Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana, Basic Beige and Peach Pie. I used the dies for all my televisions details. The stamp set in the bundle also gives you the option to stamp and color the television if you'd rather do that. Because I was making so many of these I decided to just die cut from cardstock and build my television that way. My greetings are from the Tune In set, I fussy cut them out. I added some Sparkle Gems to the knobs on the TV for some added sparkle and texture. Make your own: Poppy Parade 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score the long side at 1/2" and 4 1/2"; scraps for die cutting Coastal Cabana, Basic Beige, Peach Pie 4" x 1 1/4"; scraps for die cutting Basic Gray, Basic Black, Very Vanilla scraps for stamping and/or die cutting If you wanted to make a card instead of a popcorn slider, it's really simple to transform the elements to a card base. I added a little extra stamping in Poppy Parade Ink around the edges of my card, besides that it's an exact duplicate! Either project is adorable! Make sure you check out the video below for all the details on this project. While you're there make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video. I have another adorable treat box to share with you and it's one that you can save as a year round box. Modify the DSP for all different occasions! We're making a little box that holds two mini Kit Kats. They have this size of Kit Kats available year round, sometimes in fun flavors. Check your local stores then customize your treat box! How adorable would this box be with a Halloween or Christmas theme? Think also teachers, co-workers, friends, the possibilities are endless! My box has some lemon Kit Kats. I love lemon treats so I was intrigued by these and they're yummy! The prefect spring themed treat! This would be a great favor for a tea or garden party. I'm using the Tea Boutique DSP and Cup of Tea Bundle for mine. Another option for the lemon Kit Kats might be the Sweet Citrus Bundle in the Mini Catalog. For size purposes I went with the Cup of Tea Bundle because I liked the smaller scale lemon slice and DSP. But the Sweet Citrus Bundle is a winner too! I added a pop of color with some Sweet Sorbet Glimmer Paper. I love it especially paired up with the Simply Elegant gold trim. The perfect match for a simply and elegant treat box. Make your own Kit Kat box: Daffodil Delight 7 5/8" x 3 1/4" On the short side score at 5/8" each side On the long side score at 3 1/2", 4 1/8" and 6 1/2" DSP 1" x 1 7/8" 2 1/4" x 1 7/8" 3 1/4" x 1 7/8" Check out the video for all the details on this box. Yesterday I showed you the A.DOR.ABLE giraffe card. After I made that card I kept thing about how else can I take that technique and make it into another animal....I wanted to do a landscape card (meaning it was long not tall). I thought maybe an alligator would be cute, then I thought what about a dachshund or as they're more commonly known, a wiener dog!!!?! I did a little researching about what they look like, really they're pretty simple. I found a card on Stampin' Connection that was similar to what I was looking for, but I had to modify it alot, the one I found was pretty small and wouldn't work with my idea. I used the heart framelits for his head. I'm not sure what size heart, I think the size just bigger than the heart punch. I cut the heart in half and cut the sharp point off the bottom of the heart but it worked. It's the long head but it's rounded in the back. His ears are the wings from the Bird Builder Punch. I just made a really long rectangle for the body and used the corner rounder punch to round the corners, so it wasn't so 'sharp' looking. I made a little banner that says "I freakin' love you" Because let's face it, if you have a dog your dog loves you. Isn't he cute!!!??? You'll probably notice that with my punch art cards, there's not a lot of layers or embellishments. After you spend so much time on your punch art card the last thing you want is a lot of accessories distracting people from all the hard work you put into it. I feel that they're pretty complete without all the accessories but if you wanted you could add little bow or rhinestone collar?? That might be pretty cute!!! Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!!

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Hello everyone! It's release day for the MFT august release today - and I am joining their DT for the MFT and Friends release post today! I still can't belive it and am so excited! Make sure to check the MFT Blog today to see the great samples of the DT and the other guests. You sure don't want to miss this! Eine der Neuheiten ist das Interactive Up and Down Stanzenset - und das finde ich so grandios, dass ich gleich zwei Karten damit gemacht habe. One of their new die sets is the Interactive Up and Down set - and I love this so much that I did not only make one but two cards with it. For this first card I've used the new Carousel Horses stamp set and the Carousel die set. I grew up in Munich - and that means Oktoberfest was a part of my life. There's that carousel that's over 100 years old and still runs - and that was what I had in mind when I saw these dies and stamps. So I've used muted colors to create an antik look. I've die cut the roof of the carousel once from turquoise cardstock and once from creme colored cardstock and used my Copics to add some shadows. Then I've used the embossed lines as a guide to cut the creme colored roof into strips and glued every second of those onto the turquoise roof to end up with a striped one. The border here, as well as the poles and the side of the carousel base, are cut from golden mirror cardstock. I've also added a center piece to my carousel, made from 5 strips of cardstock that I've also shaded a bit and then stamped the small flowers from the Carousel Horse stamp set onto the strips. For the base I've die cut that piece from grey cardstock and then glued the side, cut off base cut from the golden mirror cardstock, onto it. Then all I needed to do was glue the pieces together to have a nearly finished retrostyle carousel. Das macht die Up and Down Stanze! Here you get a better look at the shine of the golden mirror cardstock. And here the horses on the left and right changed their position! That's thanks to the Up and Down die! At first I had no clue how to put that together - but the great video by Laura explains it all so clearly. And it really isn't complicated at all. And now let's talk about those great carousel horses. There are three horses in the set - I've used two of them and colored them with Copics. The manes and tails are covered with Stickles because a carousel horse needs some glitter, right? For the background I've used Distress Oxide Dried Marygold, Tea Dye and Victorian Velvet and then used the Card Sized Star Confetti Stencil to add the stars - with Aged Mahogany in the upper area and Victorian Velvet in the lower. Now everything looks even more magical. In the end I've added a banner with a white heat embossed saying from the Carousel Horses stamp set to the top of the card. Aber erstmal ein Video von den Karten in Bewegung: And then I've thought about what else the Up and Down die could be used for - and immediately had a seesaw in mind. Of course, there surely are a bunch of other ways to use it, but I wanted to try the seesaw idea. But before we talk about that I have a video of both cards in movement: Sieht das nicht klasse aus - und ich rede hier natürlich über die Art der Bewegung, die man mit der Up and Down Stanze ganz einfach seiner Karte hinzufügen kann. Doesn't that look amazing - and I'm talking about the kind of movement you can easily add to your card using the Up and Down die set. And here I have some pictures of the seesaw card. I had to put my thinking cap on to make this work as planned. But the solution was so simple: the animals - the cute hedgehog and his friend the squirrel from the Picnic Pals stamp set - are "only" moving up and down on the card. So if I'd have glued them directly onto the seesaw it wouldn't have worked since the diagonal way is longer than the horizontal. So the paper would have warped in the middle if I'd have glued the seesaw to the moving pieces in the slits. Then I had the idea of simply using the t-shaped part from the Up and Down die set again. It already has the perfectly matching cut outs to make the seesaw move right. So I've simply cut the t-shaped part again from brown cardstock, cut off the shorter part and used the longer one as the seesaw. And I even could attach it to the card using the same brad that holds the mechanism on the back. Since the seesaw also needed a middle part I've used the rounded triangle die from the Interactive Swing die set here and only glued it onto the card at the very bottom, making sure the seesaw can move underneath. The hedgehog and squirrel ate their pieces of watermelon - okay, I've masked those off while stamping -, finished their picnic and moved on to a near playground. For the background I've used the Scene Builder stamp set, at the bottom of the card I've used the also new Tucked Under Horizontally die. The position of the grass cut in the middle was perfect to tuck in the middle of the seesaw. Next to it I've put the picnic basket. The saying, again white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock, is again from the Carousel Horses stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by today - and don't forget to check out today's post at the MFT Blog to see the amazing creations the DT and the other guests have made!
Today I created a set of all occasion cards that would make a very nice gift. I really enjoy making sets of cards as it’s only one design but you can have fun with all the color choices. I’ll link to all the Stampin’ Up! products below. However, some of the sentiments came from a Hero Arts monthly kit. I’m sure you could find many alternative sentiments that would work just as well. Here’s… Continue reading

I think you all know how much I love a good fun fold card. When it's an easy and quick fun fold it's an even bigger WIN! This card today is easy, quick and OH SO CUTE! I'm featuring the Sweet Peas Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog. It's an adorable set that is perfect for so many occasions. I made this card for a swap and made 22 of this card. There are no dies so you do have to fussy cut the sweet peas, they're quick to cut though. I used Stampin' Blends to color my images, it's my go to for coloring. I love the results! I added some additional texture to the card base with some tone on tone stamping. To finish the card I used some Baker's Twine and my favorite Shiny Sequins! The magic of this Z-Fold card is the pop up panel inside. I simply used some Granny Apple Green Cardstock to make a 'box' for the pop up panel to sit on. Check out the video to see how easy it is to make it pop up. The card will fold completely flat for mailing too. Make your own. Granny Apple Green 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score long side at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4" 4 1/2" x 1" score long side at 1", 2", 3" and 4" DSP 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" Peach Pie 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"; half of Heartfelt Hexagon Punch Pretty Ink Pink 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" Basic White 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"; 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"; scraps for stamping and fussy cutting Make sure you check out the video below for all the details on this project. ...Alligator! This is my favorite card of the week. When I first saw the greeting 'See ya later alligator' in this set, (which by the way is See Ya Later), I thought that would be super cute with a little alligator on the card.....so I thought, thought, my original alligator didn't work, so I headed to pintrest. Do a search for 'alligator punch art' and you'll get lots of fun ideas. The problem was alot of the cards I looked at used retired punches. Which is fine I have them all :) however perhaps you don't and if you'd like to recreate him well then that's more of a challenge for you then. So I looked at what they used, looked at what we sell and recreated him, quite larger, and made only with current punches! Yay!!!!! I'm going to list the punches I used and what I used them for toward the bottom. Once I had all my pieces punched I ran them through the Sale A Bration embossing folder, Decorative Dots. Now I've never touched an alligator, I hope I never do, but I would imagine they're quite bumpy so make sure you add that extra texture. For the alligator I used Pear Pizazz and Gumball Green. He's very big, one of the biggest punch guys I've ever made. In fact if I were to mail this or give it away I would need a 5x5 envelope. His completed size is about 4.5x3.5. So he's big but ever so cute! This card is a 'fun fold as I call it, though it's so easy to make. The green is 6x5 score the 6 inch side in half at 3, so you have a 3x5 card. The Pool Party piece is 8.5x3 score the 8.5 side in half at 4.25 and that goes right around, only glue it on to the back. I used markers to ink my stamp so that I could omit parts of it. If you only glue the back of the pool party to the back of the green, the front will open again, so you kind of have a double card. I don't really know what you call it but I love it! You'll see on the inside I used my markers again to ink and stamp and omit parts of the stamp. I love our markers!!! Here's how I made this guy, GG means Gumball Green, PP means Pear Pizazz, WW for Whisper White, and BB for Basic Black: Feet=Large Oval (PP) and Extra Large Oval (GG). Hands=1/2 inch circle (you'll need 8 total GG) and 7/8 Scallop Circle Punch for his claws (I punched one and cut it in half WW). Body=2 1/2 Inch Circle (GG) and 1 3/4 Inch Circle (you'll need 3 PP). Eyes=Extra Large Oval (you'll need 2 GG), Large Oval (you'll need 2 WW) and 1/2 Inch Circle (again 2 BB). Nose=Extra Large Oval (use the 1/2 circle to punch a notch out of the middle on the bottom PP), 1/2 Inch Circle (for his nostrils, you'll need 2 PP), 7/8 Scallop Circle Punch (his teeth WW), Large Oval (Use half for his chin GG). So that's it!! He's adorable! Remember to sponge your pieces. When layering the extra sponging detail really makes a difference! Tomorrow is the last day of our Sale a Bration week! Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!!
Oh. My. Gosh! Can we just take a minute to look at this card...…..WOW! In person the colors are more vibrant and they're a little sparkly because I painted them all with Wink Of Stella. Doesn't it look like stained glass. SOOOOOO pretty!!! The card really isn't hard to make, but you need to dedicate some TIME to make it. This is not the card you're going to mass produce or send out 100 of. I used Stampin' Blends to color all the flower petals. There's lots of blending and I kept the colors darker in the center and lighter as the petals expanded. I did the same with the leaves. All the petals are popped up on Dimensionals, except for the smaller flowers and the leaves. Those I stuck down with Tombow. The centers were all colored with blends after it was assembled. So how did I do it? I started by die cutting the flower from white cardstock. BEFORE it was removed from the die I put some press and seal on the back and then carefully pulled off the die and the detailed outline. Not all the centers stayed and that's ok, we don't need those. I've been using press and seal in my stamp room for years. I have a box dedicated to my craft room that I keep in my closet. With the flowers all stuck down to the press and seal it was easy to go through and color them on the press and seal. I used some Adhesive Sheets for the black detailed outline and stuck that on my card. With the black outline on it was easy to go through and stick the petals in. I used my Take Your Pick tool for little pieces. I used Mini Dimensionals on the larger petals directly on the card then stuck the petal to them. I love the final card. It's so gorgeous!! Our Stampin' Up! punches are easy to use, fun and with a little imagination you can make the sweetest cards. I'm always asked to do punch art classes. I try to do 2 a year, they're pretty popular. So this month's class was a punch art class. First card is our sweet puppy card. Isn't he just adorable!!!?!! He's super simple, made mostly of circles. His nose and ears are the only non circles there. Make sure you sponge darker ink on the lighter cardstock. I know that sounds like such little step but that little ink can make the difference in texture and dimension. Speaking of the importance of sponging, I bring you to the next card. This card required the fewest punches. All we used was the new Hexagon punch. But with creative sponging you can give the box shading, shadows and really makes it pop! We used post it notes to mask portions of the box to get accurate shading. But this card wasn't complete until you added the little tissue box on the inside. What a cute, fun card!!! I was a little worried going into the class with this card, I thought it wouldn't be a favorite but it ended up being one of the most popular ones. I think it's the hidden box inside :) It's stinkin' cute!!! I have a couple more cards to share tomorrow, so check back! Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!!
I have the cutest cards to share today!!! I love this card so much and it's so easy to make. It's such a cool card and I promise anyone you send it to will be impressed with this card. I learned how to make this card from Rachel Tessman who shared a version made with the December Paper Pumpkin. These card do fit into a standard size card envelope if you position everything correctly. My first couple that I made I made the mistake of putting them on the wrong panel. Check out my video where I show you what not to do. So you can be successful every time! The DSP on all of the cards is from the Best Dressed package. It's a beautiful package of floral DSP that I simply LOVE! You can find a full supply list under the video. The card stands simply by inserting the last corner into a slit we'll make in the card. Isn't that awesome! You could also use Velcro or small magnets to hold it closed as well. Measurements: 3 pieces of 4"x4" Cardstock Score Diagonally 3 Triangle pieces (3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square cut in half diagonally) Create slit in one square. Place one square at 1 3/4" on Paper Trimmer with score line going from bottom left to top right. Cut slit about 1/2" from bottom to score line. With teacher appreciation week last week I had one last fun treat to send to all my kids teachers. I picked up a bunch of fun pens at a local craft show. I have a couple of these pens myself I just love them! They make amazing teacher gifts. Here's the shop I got them from. These boxes came together super quick, which was good because I think I made 18 of them. Lots of fun pencils and pens will fit in here. I used two stamp sets for this project. The new Everyday Thanks Set for the pencil. I'm in LOVE with this sweet pencil. I also used the Apple Harvest Set for the apple. Make sure to snag the Apple Blossom Dies that coordinate with this set. They're available while supplies last on the Clearance Rack. I color my images with Stampin' Blends, colors all listed below. For a fun look I heat embossed the greeting from the Something Fancy Set in White Embossing Powder on Black Cardstock. To make the box, you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 11" x 3". On the long side score at 6" and 6 1/2" On the short side score at 1/2" each side DSP 41/4" x 1 3/4" Glimmer and DSP 2" x 1/2" Cut the small tabs on the sides and fold up. The shorter side is the front. Once the box is adhered you can trim to top sides at an angle. I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.
