Hi there everyone, Those of you who have followed me for a while will know that every month I like to reward anyone who shops with me with a little thank you pack. The pack always includes a handmade thank you card and a handmade or hand packaged gift. Anyone who has also used my Monthly Shopping Code always receives a free product gift too - for my December shoppers, the gift this month was a fabulous embossing folder. (If you'd like to receive a pack from me next month, all you need to do is place an order - what are you waiting for?) Anyway, I was half way through preparing this month's thank you packs and had already posted some of them off when I remembered that I hadn't showed what what I had made this month. So I rescued a few from the post pile and took some photos. If you are one of last month's customers and you haven't received your pack yet, rest assured that by the time you read this it will be in the post! I used the Painted Poppies stamp set and coordinating papers to make my cards and the "Thank You" sentiment is from "Tropical Chic" As usual, when I send these cards off to customers, I always write inside on a Post It note so that if they wanted to, they could remove the note and re-use the card to send to someone else! And if you'd like to see how I made my card, you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. If you need the measurements for the card, here they are: METRIC Card blank - 21cm x 14.8cm (half an A4 sheet), score at 10.5cm DSP strip - 4cm x 11cm Poppy Parade mat for DSP - 4.5cm x 11cm Stamped panel - 4.5cm x 9cm Mat for stamped panel - 4.8cm x 9.3cm IMPERIAL Card blank - 8 1/4 ins x 6 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins DSP strip - 4 1/4 ins x 1 1/2 ins Poppy Parade mat for DSP - 4 1/1/4 ins x 1 3/4 ins Stamped panel - 3 1/2 ins x 1 3/4 ins Mat for stamped panel - 3 5/8 ins x 1 7/8 ins hope you've enjoyed seeing today's project. Next time, I'll show you the handmade gift I sent. And don't forget - you know what you need to do if you'd like to receive one of my thank you packs! When I opened my new box of Stampin' Up! 2020 supplies, I just had to use the Peaceful Poppies designer paper from the new Stampin' UP! 2020 Jan-June Mini catalog first!! I created 72 cards with the Peaceful Poppies suite of products by cutting each piece of designer paper into 6 cards fronts. I chopped all of the designer paper into 4' strips and then cut the strips into 5-1/4' x 4' pieces. NOTE: when you cut the design with the poppies on the tall stems (front/center in photo above) be sure to cut that extra 1-1/2' strip out

Hello stamping friends! Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop, where this month we are all about the amazingly beautiful Peaceful Poppies Suite which is found on pg. 24 - 27 of the Stampin' Up! 2020 Jan - Jun Mini Catalogue. International readers please use the translate feature, found in the side bar, to translate to your language. The hand painted blooms and watercolour washes in the gorgeous DSP make for beautiful backgrounds on all your projects. The Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle includes two stamp set and die bundles for even more fun! The outline poppy images accented by watercolour effects allow you to choose from a large range of inspiring coordinating colours to design your projects. This suite can be used for any occasion, whether it be for sending a birthday card, your deepest sympathy, or celebrating a friendship, your handmade creations are sure to shine as bright as a field of poppies when creating with this suite. Click picture to shop products from my store. While the suite has lots of reds and purple colours I've moved away from these colours today to show you some projects in some softer pink colours. Before I made my two cards I did a bit of a Google search to see what colours Poppies actually come in, I'm not much of a gardener, so I wouldn't know, and it turns out they come in a whole range of colours. Ranging from whites, pinks, reds, purples, yellows, oranges and even blues. I've even only known them to be red because of their association with Rememberance Day (11th Nov) and ANZAC Day (25th April) here in Australia. The red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Poppies are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community. My two projects today are incorporating some of the pink colours in the Stampin' Up! colour family for a softer and 'pretty in pink' look. My first card uses Shimmery White Cardstock, my favourite 'white', for the base layers and then over that is a layer of vellum embossed with the 3D Scripty Embossing Folder. If you were to pick one embossing folder to go with everything, that would be the one I would tell you to choose. It's just gorgeous. Over the base layers I've put some pieces of Basic Black cardstock and then layered over that is the large Poppy blooms in the colours Petal Pink, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo. Pretty!!! Layered with the Poppies is some of the leaf die cuts as well as some pieces from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. I love the look of layering the two pieces of the Poppy in the same colour for that tone on tone look. It makes it look like the Poppy Blooms are all one piece. The accents of the gold sequins, from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins, and the Gold Glimmer Paper really gives the projects that 'finishing touch'. My second project again starts with the Shimmery White cardstock for the base, the same as the first card. But this time I've layered the Poppy Blooms under a Stitched Rectangle Frame for that layered framed look. I've used the same colours again for the Poppy flowers and accented the main flower with the left die cut and some pieces from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. The 'Happy Birthday', the same as the first card comes from the Peaceful Moments Stamp set. The card has then been finished off with some Linen Thread, Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Gold Sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins and some Gold Glimmer Paper. I do hope that when you get products from a suite that you do try to use them with colours other than the coordinating ones. You'll be amazed at the different looks you can get when you change things up a bit. Now on to the oh-so-amazing Stesha Bloodhart in the U.S. with her stunning Peaceful Poppies projects. Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments birthday card #stampcandy
Welcome to Simple Sunday!! Today's Simple Sunday card is created with the Painted Poppies stamp set. It's paired it with Painted Poppies & Granny Apple Green. The image is stamped in Memento Ink and colored with Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Markers. The ribbon and the rhinestones are also colored with the Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Marker. I really love the background. I stamped it off with Granny Apple Green Ink. Here are the dimensions: Poppy Parade, 11 X 4-1/4, score at 5-1/2 Basic White, 3-1/4 X 4-1/2 Basic White, 3-1/8 X 4-3/8, emboss with

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training which is helping us build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support. You may be starting here or have come from another blog ~ either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today. As part of our training, Kylie & Bruno challenge us each month to create thank you cards for our customers and team members. This is one of my favorite things about their training. Mostly because I think it is incredibly important to say thank you, especially to our customers & team members. But also because I love being inspired by all the other creative demonstrators in this blog hop! My customer thank you card this month features Stampin' Up!'s Painted Poppies stamp set. The 'thank you' is from Peaceful Moments, which is one of my favorite sentiment only stamp sets! I placed the floral and sentiment stamps on my Stamparatus so I could ink and stamp them with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink at the same time. Also, this allowed me to stamp repeatedly without having to line up the stamps each time. I was able to stamp all my cards very quickly using this method. I added the splash of color with the small 'splatter' stamp, stamping off once before stamping on the card twice. After stamping twice, I would repeat the process until I had the flowers sufficiently colored. I added the larger 'splatter' stamp once to the inside of the card. I did also stamp off one time before stamping this one. Of course, I also stamped the envelope! This time I stamped the front of the envelope, using the large 'splatter' stamp and a single poppy stamp. Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope this card inspires you to create!
