OK, I can now say that I know for sure I am going to love the new items from Stampin' Up! Yes, this is a sneak peak into what is coming January 3rd in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. Is this not the cutest stamp set and not only that, "framelits" to match the stamp set. Yes, all you have to do is stamp the image and then using the framelits Labels collection you can just cut out your frame very simply! Yea!!!!! But I could not have made this wonderful birthday card for my dear daughter (whose birthday is next week, shhhhh) without a sketch that I saw on Got Sketch - Twelve Days of Christmas. When I saw the sketch, I knew it was the perfect one for this stamp set, and yes I know I did not do a Christmas card for it. I love Got Sketch and use quite a few of their sketches especially their scrapbook sketches, so stop by there and see the wonderful sketches they have! Here is a side view of the card! And a close up of the stamp set and frame! Items used are all Stampin' Up! Stamp Set: Apothecary Art (sneak Peak) Card Stock: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder Designer Series Paper: Berry Blossoms Classic Ink: Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder for sponging Framelits Labels Collection (Sneak Peak) Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed your visit!

Happy Mother's Day! We are experiencing some beautiful weather here in Minnesota. Hope you are too. Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Flowers of Beauty Bundle (item 163376). I kept my card quite simple, in that I only stamped the sentiment and focused on the dies in the Flowers of Beauty Bundle. And can I just say how awesome the large die cut leaf is and the oodles of flowers you will get with one run through your die cutting machine?! My card follows this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! below. To join in on the fun and to showcase your creativity, simply create a card following the Sunday Stamps! challenge guidelines below: Use any brand of products you have; Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the Sunday Stamps! blog; The colors from the challenge must be the primary colors on your project. Please do not combine our colors with other color challenges. Provide a link to the Sunday Stamps! website and/or the challenge picture in your post; Feel free to combine our challenge with up to four other challenges; and most of all- Have fun creating with us! This weeks challenge will end on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 6:00 pm EST. For my creation, I decided to make a money/gift card holder on the front of the card and not actually have a "card". The new 3/8" In Color Bordered Ribbon is fantastic. It is soft and easy to work with and it ended up being the closure for my card. Note: Probably for the very first time I did NOT use Dimensionals to create my card! Say what?? I barely never ever not use Dimensionals. And no I am not sick or anything-lol. It just seemed to not need it this time and especially since I made the card open the way it does. I die cut flowers using Peach Pie and Moody Mauve cardstock and added some Calypso Coral ink to the Peach Pie flowers using a Blending Brush to add more dimension to the flowers. I love how it turned out. I paired my flowers with a Peach Pie pattern of Unbound Beauty DSP and a die cut rectangle from the Everyday Detail Dies. The circle for my sentiment is also from the Everyday Detail Dies. And finally, to finish off my card I added a few 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. Don't miss out on this beautiful bundle in the Unbound Beauty Suite (163390). Place a $50 order using Host Code: 2CWRZSV7 and you will receive the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack (item 163762) as my thank you gift. These flowers are perfect for creating beautiful floral projects quick and easily. Hi Everyone, Sometimes you just need a really quick card or two and the Frames & Flowers DSP can come to your rescue. The papers are beautiful but the special parts are the die cut pieces you get with the DSP. The die cuts are all in the same colors as the DSP and you can pick and choose a few to layer on your card to get the look you would like. Just add a sentiment and you are done! Hope you enjoy! This post will be photo heavy and I hope it will offer some inspiration to you. Scroll down for the show and tell video sharing some teaching tips and a couple more of the samples I made. I am REALLY excited that we got to choose punch or dies with two of the stamp sets (spoiler I chose punches with both!) What about you? This card made with Labelled with Love was super simple to create. I love how the Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash co-ordinate. Next we have Spotlight on Nature. We created the ver simple easel card. The use of Basic Beige is a bit washed out in this photo but see below for the ones I created for display Do you like this new colour? In theory Basic Beige sounds unexciting but I LOVE it. Zoom in to see the detail that I got using our gorgeous stamps both on the white layers and tone on tone to create the background elements. And now on to my Tune in Samples. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this fun retro stamp set and made a selection of samples using it. If you are of a certain age and from the UK, you will see I created one with a BBC test card effect! Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is a neutral palette; whites, grays, ivorys, browns or black. I chose browns for this card - Basic Beige and Early Espresso. The floral image was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic Beige cardstock and "colored" with Clear Wink of Stella. The W.O.S. picked up the ink from the stamped image like using a Water Painter, adding subtle shimmer, as well. I love the circle dies in the Spotlight on Nature bundle! I think they're going to be used a lot in the near future. That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts. Happy Saturday Peeps!!! It is time for another Our Creative Corner Challenge. This week our hostess with the mostest is the fabulous Tui Nathan and she has fun challenge for us: Black and White with a splash of Colour" Create a card, or paper craft item with the colours Black and White, then add a splash of a colour of your choosing. I had this wonderful pack of DSP, Morning Mocha by Stampin UP and hadn't broken into it yet, so this challenge was the perfect opportunity. This black piece is gorgeous with a flocked design. I added my "splash" of color by making a red flower using the Floral Fusion die. I used the little leaves die and made my white leaves. I added some large pearls and black satin ribbon. I think this card would be great for a wedding or anniversary card but since I am not in the need for one of those, I choose to make it a "thank you". The sentiment on here is from the "Thank You Kindly" stamp set. Be sure to check the Our Creative Corner Blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with for this fun challenge. I hope you can find some time to play along and if you do, don't forget to link it up over on the Our Creative Corner Blog so we can all see it! Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!! Nice to see you back! I have always loved slimline cards since I first learned about making them about 10 years ago. It is wonderful to see that they are all the rage in card design now. So I was thrilled to design an entire card kit with all slimline cards. This post is just showing you the cards that will be in the kit. I believe that they are all spoken for ecept for one kit! And Carol just received them on Friday (3 days ago)! One thing though, I forgot to take my photos of all the cards like I usually do. I do, however, have the teaser photos I took, and have done the best I could with editing them. SOLD within a day after posting This is a large Kit! It has 9 Slimeline cards! Kit cost is $45. If you wish to grab the last remaining kit, contact Scrapbook Parade here. These are the nine cards in order as they will appear on the printed instructions. So these are the cards for the Maja Design "Vintage Autumn Basics" Slimline card kit. See you next time for a post with more detailed photos to accompany the instructions for this kit. Remember, there is only one left! Happy creating!

Happy Thursday, everyone! What a gorgeous day we had yesterday! I am afraid we are having our September in August……and we might have our August in September, yikes! Anyway, August 17 is rolling around…and that is Cassidy’s third birthday! So when I saw Rita’s lovely sketch for the Freshly Made Sketches this week, I knew I would use it to make my wee DGD’s card! First, here’s the sketch: Ah, she had me when I saw the three circles! I used images from A Fitting Occasion, and since they are small, I made my card notecard sized: Cassidy will be the first one to tell you that her favorite color is GREEN! So Grammy made sure there was some green in here, along with some other yummy colors: I think cutting out those three candles is the tiniest fussy-cutting I’ve ever done! And then the inside: Oh my, how can she be three already?! Here are some pictures of her eating a mini cupcake from a week or so ago….not her birthday cupcakes, but another batch I made. Needless to say, eating a cupcake to Cassidy means just eating the frosting….a girl after my own heart! Enjoy your day!
