Hello and Welcome to another wonderful Colour INKspiration challenge!! Check out the colours this time!! Our inspiration comes from some gorgeous images from Pinterest which then are the source for the colours of the challenge. And the Inspiration Picture this time is so sparkly!! I've used one of the new offerings from our 2nd Release Sale-a-bration freebies called Tags In Bloom. It's a great set that coordinates with our new Label Me Lovely and Label Me Fancy punches in the new Mini Catalogue. The colouring of the flowers was done with the Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. The Label Me Lovely punch creates a fabulous window in this lovely image!! When the card was finished I spritzed it with alcohol and the Champagne Shimmer Mist to give it lots of sparkle and shine!! I love the extra splatters too - I think that's a lovely artistic touch!! We'd love you to join in the fun with us - add your project using these colours to our facebook challenge page - and you'll also see the album with the whole design team and their gorgeous projects!! If you want to see more detail about any of these projects, please head to my website by clicking on one of the images!! Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!) And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in the Stampin' Up! The Cricut is really a personal die-cut machine. In typical scrapbooking-addict fashion, I quickly collected several more cartridges... and learned that not all cartridges are the same. I also purchased two of Cricut's newest additions: Design Studio and Jukebox. Here's my review.

Spring is finally here! Maybe it's been spring for awhile where you are, but I live in Canada, so it takes a little bit longer to warm up where I am. And my oh my, have I ever missed the flowers and the leaves! I love walking my 6 year old daughter to school each morning and seeing the magnolias just ready to bloom, the buds on the trees just ready to burst and the bright yellow forsythia flowers highlighting our backyard. I love this time of year! And since I've been in such a wonderful spring mood, I decided to make

It’s Mix It Up Monday and a bank holiday no less – hope you have a relaxing day off! In case you missed last Monday’s post, I’ve just started working my way through a new set of In Color charts, featuring 50 colour combinations using the 2015-17 In Colors. And what a winning combination this one is! I have surprised myself by doing a complete U-turn about Sweet Sugarplum. What do you mean “that’s not a surprise”? I never do U-turns about craft supplies. I thought it was a sickly colour but I’m happy to report that it’s quite “dirty” and not that sweet after all. It goes perfectly with Rich Razzleberry and the addition of Old Olive and Crumb Cake are just genius, if I do say so myself. I’m quite chuffed with the card, too. I love this new stamp set - Love You Lots. It’s a hostess set in the upcoming catalogue, which means you can only get it if you host a qualifying party or place an order of £150 or more. The animals are so cute and, as I’ve shown here, you don’t always have to colour them in the traditional way. Here I’ve painted swathes of colour across some watercolour paper. I used the ink pad lids of Old Olive, Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry. When it was dry (I sped things up with the heat tool), I sprinkled some clean water over the top, left it for a few seconds then dabbed it with a tissue. I stamped the image on top - and love how it gives the impression that the elephant is blowing bubbles. I continued the “bubbles” theme by adding some clear and white sequins, and by embossing the Old Olive cardstock with Softly Falling. There’s a thank you sentiment with this set but I liked “A little thanks” as a nod towards the tiny mouse. Overthinking, me? Never! Hi friends! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch! As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires and enter as many creations as you like. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on June 28 2020. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs. My card started with these beautiful papers from the By the Sea collection. I picked a few papers and cut into various scraps and laid them out until I was happy with the layout. I then cut out a white circle for my focal panel and stamped with sentiments from the Thoughtful Words set. Below that I used one of the stamps from the Texture Tiles 3 set for the water, stamped in navy and then lightly blended with the same color of ink. The rope image is from the Peace Be Still set and I colored with copics and hand trimmed, adding some crystal clear lacquer pen accents to add a little dimension to it. The anchor is a wood veneer piece from my stash, I lightly brushed a ground espresso oxide pad over it then embossed with clear embossing powder for a little more texture. Everything is glued together on an A2 size card base. Alrighty, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch! Thanks so much for stopping by! Please join me for Mojo Monday!
