Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for dropping in. Today we have the 18th instalment in my Card Making for Beginners series and we are going to be making some really quick and easy cards using some DSP (patterned paper) and stamped vellum. Once again I have used the fabulous Feels Like Frost papers. As you can see I have made my cards into sympathy cards (needed to make a few for my stash) but this design could suit many different occasions - winter birthdays, Christmas, thank you etc. The vellum is secured behind the panel and on this one I have disguised a couple of glue dots with some Frosted Epoxy Droplets - I added them after recording the video! That paper is so lovely - and it is great the way it coordinates with so many colours of card stock in the Stampin' Up! range. The sentiment I have used is from the Peaceful Moments set which is so versatile with greetings for so many different occasions. If you'd like to see how I made these cards, so that you can recreate them, you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. Thanks for joining me today. Back soon with more crafty inspiration. All the products I have used to make this project are available from my online shop. Hello and Welcome! I’m so glad you stopped by. It is time for our monthly blog hop and I’ve got a great encouragement card for you. I love the Feels like Frost paper and think that if you just use it a little differently then you can get a whole new look from what I call “winter themed” paper. I added some of our gorgeous pretty peacock ink and the Tropical Chic stamp set and matching dies along with a little Smoky slate and made it a tropical themed card. Isn’t that awesome how just adding color changes the whole feel of the paper?! I made this card to send with another one that I made a week ago. I keep meaning to send them out and time just gets away from me lol. Anyone else have this problem? Hopefully the recipients will like them. Thanks so much for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the other awesome demonstrators playing along in this blog hop. Have a great day everyone! Robin
