Raise your hand if you are completely in awe of Kristie Marcotte and her ability to power through entire 6x6 paper pads...yeah me too! For my SumMore Fun blog post today I decided to embrace that challenge for myself! It wasn't easy and took me three days off and on to finish the paper pad, but I ended up with these 32 cards. I used the My Mind's Eye My Favorite Things 6x6 paper pad. I have had it floating around in my craft room for quite some time. I picked it because it had both masculine and feminine papers in it. I will say that I should have been more selective because some of the papers were geared more towards scrapbooking and that left me with only side of paper to use with those sheets. However, it didn't stop me :) In true Kristie style, I started with some card sketches. This first set of cards were made with Reverse Confetti sketch #32. I used the following supplies on these cards: Raisin Boat Talking in Circles stamp set (only $3.99 right now!) Scrapbook.com Pine hybrid ink Scrapbook.com Pink Lemonade hybrid ink Cottage Cutz stitched circle dies brads brown and coral Recollections cardstock flower The second set of cards were made with Reverse Confetti sketch #53. I used the following supplies on these cards: Raisin Boat Night Owl stamp set Raisin Boat All In Toile stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink Scrapbook.com Succulent hybrid ink Scrapbook.com Camel hybrid ink (inking around the edge of the owl) colored pencils Brother Scan N Cut (owl and party hat) Scrapbook.com Pink Lemonade hybrid ink Gray, tan, and black Recollections cardstock Twisted Lime Trendy Twine The third set of cards were made with Reverse Confetti sketch #34. I used the following supplies on these cards: Raisin Boat Talking In Circles stamp set Scrapbook.com Charcoal hybrid ink Cottage Cutz stitched square die black Recollections cardstock circle punch markers Glossy Accents (on bottom right circles and flower centers) These baby cards were created with OWH Sketch #154. I used the following supplies on these cards: Raisin Boat Talking In Circles stamp set Scrapbook.com Daffodil hybrid ink Cottage Cutz scalloped stitched circle die Cottage Cutz stitched circle die black Recollections cardstock Totally Lemon Trendy Twine diaper pin brad The last cards made from a sketch used OWH sketch #142. I used the following supplies on these cards: Raisin Boat No Loss For Words stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink label die black Recollections cardstock Silver Pearl Pen The following cards were not made with any type of sketch. I was simply using up the papers I had left from the paper pad. These fish cards were created using the following additional supplies: Raisin Boat Time Flies stamp set Raisin Boat No Loss For Words stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink Scrapbook.com Caribbean hybrid ink (blended with brush) watercolored fish with Scrapbook.com Succulent, Pink Flamingo, and Sugar Cookie hybrid inks Cottage Cutz stitched rounded rectangle dies black Recollections cardstock white gel pen silver brads The next two cards each have a different layout, but are similar with their elements. Supplies used include: Raisin Boat Talking In Circles stamp set Scrapbook.com Succulent hybrid ink GMD double stitched in and out circle die Cottage Cutz scalloped stitched circle die black Recollections cardstock Totally Lemon Trendy Twine Scrapbook.com Charcoal hybrid ink Totally Black Trendy Twine White Pearl Pearl Pen Supplies for the two butterfly cards include: Raisin Boat No Loss For Words stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink Cottage Cutz Kayla Butterfly die Cottage Cutz scalloped stitched circle die label die black, gray, white Recollections cardstock Totally Lemon Trendy Twine These final four cards really were using up the last of the last scraps! The Happy Birthday cards supplies include: Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink gray, black and white Recollections cardstock GMD Citrus Twist enamel dots silver pearls The final card supplies include: Raisin Boat No Loss For Words stamp set Scrapbook.com Black hybrid ink label die gray Recollections cardstock GMD wonky stitched rectangle die Gray Licorice Trendy Twine Adhesives used on all cards include ATG, foam tape, and Scotch Tacky Glue. I used up every little bit of those patterned papers. The last couple scraps were used for embellishments and die cutting. Whew! Did you make it all the way through this post? If so, I hope you are inspired to try something new with your crafting...maybe even crafting your way through a whole paper pad like I did! I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day! Today's sketch was inspired by this fun coffee loving creation I made with the NEW Grab the Unicorn set from The Cat's Pajamas. I never knew I needed a coffee drinking unicorn stamp until I saw this one! 😀 It's a seriously cute set and I couldn't wait to stamp with it! I colored the little unicorn and her aqua coffee cup with Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush markers and then fussy cut her out. I then selected a few papers that coordinated with the colors I had used and set about creating the layout. I had a really hard time getting it to show in the photo, but her little backdrop is stenciled black on black with the new Twist Stencilz and some black glitter paste. It looks positively magical in real life. I added a couple strips of satin ribbon for my diagonal strips, but you could easily use paper layers. Then for even more sparkle I added rhinestones in between the two strips. I finished off with a sweet sentiment from the set. Alrighty, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch! I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs. Today's card is a rare no-stamping card for me. I can't remember the last time I made a card without at least some stamping. But this was an early morning creation where I was trying to be super quiet and not wake the boys, so I just pulled out a paper pad and the coordinating ephemera and got to layering. The Prima Pumpkin and Spice collection was a don't even think about it, just add to cart purchase for me. I love fall, I love Prima, and I love shabby chic. But since most of my design teams moved into Christmas in September, this poor paper pad has just been sitting on the shelf unused! Determined to use it, I picked a few papers, cut them to size, matted with white cardstock and then distressed the edges. I then chose some of the coordinating ephemera pieces to layer behind the focal panel, distressing the edges a bit as well and adding a few stickles accents. Then It was just a matter of gluing it all together, adding a seam binding bow and voila... a no stamping card is born. Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what you create! I am completely smitten with the new Coffee Talk stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I know, no surprise, since I've never met a coffee stamp I didn't like! {grin} For this card, I colored up a couple of the cup images, then fussy cut. The sentiment is stamepd on a circle die cut and I stamped one of the cup images randomly over the sentiment circle in ballerina ink. Coffee Talk happens to be the August Stamp of the Month. It's available to purchase for $15.95, OR you can receive it for free with a qualifying order. See the website for details. The rest was just a matter of picking some fun papers to go with the fun images. I recently cleaned out my scrap box, and so was able to manage flipping through the much smaller amount of scraps to find these fun patterns. Alrighty, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch! Thanks so much for stopping by! Please join me for Mojo Monday! Click here to enter

Once dry, I spattered some white craft paint for stars. Next I added a strip of Cement Gray card stock across the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base with the sentiment and two of the stamped city scape images, popped up on foam. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers and popped up on foam to complete the scene. And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Have you ever gotten a piece of large patterned paper that you just weren't sure what to do with? Here are a few things to try!
This pack of 4 cards is based on original cyanotype prints of ferns and leaves from my Hedgerow Flora Collection which were handmade by me in my garden. The print on the card is a copy of the original. The cards have been professionally printed to a high standard and on 300 gsm FSC certified card with a silk finish on the outside and matt finish inside. They would be an ideal gift for a nature lover or gardener. The cards are A6 size (10.5 x 14.7 cm) and are dispatched with white envelopes included and are ideal for a greetings card for any occasion. The cards will be dispatched by second class mail in a cello bag. If you prefer not to have a bag please add a note at checkout. My art practice is inspired by nature, I have been creating prints using wet cyanotype, a modified version of the 19th century photographic printing process, applying soap suds onto the treated paper before exposure. The chemical reaction produces interesting fluid patterns, textures and colours not normally present in a traditional cyanotype print.

Hello again! I'm popping in today to share a project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! It's a lovely sketch, and lends itself perfectly to my favorite kind of design - clean and simple, with a little bit of graphic thrown in for good measure! Here's this week's sketch: And here's my interpretation of the sketch: I used the Gift Tag Die-Namics to create the dome-shaped aperture from a 4" x 5.25" Smooth White panel. I adhered some rainbow-order strips (colors listed below) that I created using the Straight-Up Rainbow Die-Namics onto the card base so that they aligned towards the left side of the aperture. I die cut the Scripty Smile Die-Namics, three times from Smooth White and once from Black Licorice card stock, and I adhered the layers together with a glue pen. I die cut some of the flowers, stems and leaves from Smooth White using the Stitched Garden Die-Namics. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below. Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the fabulous projects that my fellow teammates have created for this week's Sketch Challenge. And while you're there, why not link up your own take on this week's Sketch Challenge for a chance to win $50 MFT Bucks to be used at the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, so everyone that plays has a chance to win! That'll do it for me today, folks! I'll be back very soon with more crafty stuff. Until then, thanks for stopping by and have a great day! MFT PRODUCTS USED:
