Mermaids frolick in the sea, 1910, Edna Cooke, book illustration, Seaside fairies. fantasy art, mermaids in art, canvas art prints, antique art, seaside art print, Ocean art print 11x14" canvas print. Colors will vary due to your monitor settings Free ship US You frame it! PLEASE note: This image was created as an illustration, and does not have very distinct lines. This is the way it was created and saved, and our computers print it exactly as shown on the listing. It is imperative that you open the picture to see the detail. It is impossible to know what to expect when you view on a phone or other small device. If you are looking for precise lines and details, this is not the print for you. NOTE: Our prints are taken from an antique/vintage paintings, greeting cards, post cards etc.. Much of the time, these were originally printed on a soft and porous paper, which softened the images. They didn't have the technology back then to photo-shop and fix these images. That is why I chose to reproduce only antique art in it's original content (no photo-shop). I love the old school art. These are also paintings and drawings, and so the styles vary. The papers we use today, have special coatings so that they attract the inks or dyes well, and stop much of the seeping of the inks. Our new technologies print exactly what is on the scan of the original image. If you purchase canvas, it is made of cotton, and even though it also has this special coating, it is textured, and softens the look of the final result. It is archival, and of the highest quality, but is best for paintings since they were mostly created on artist canvas. It is important to note that if you are buying on your phone or tablet, the images you see are only tiny thumbnails, and so you can't really see the detail in the scan on the listing. If you can look on a computer, you can then see the depth and detail of the image you want. Artwork is not created equal, and sometimes there are clear and distinct lines, and other times the style is less detailed. Lastly, Colors will vary slightly, due to the difference in your monitor settings. Please zoom in on the image to see the detail. This art print was taken from a vintage painting, print, postcard or digital source. It is in the public domain in the US because the copyrights (if any) have expired. All quoted shipping costs are USA only. I will ship to your country, via first class intl. USPS, but please contact me for a quote before you buy. All art prints are custom designed to fit into a standard, modern frame. The openings on these frames are smaller than the listed size. Your print will be slightly larger than the opening. You can carefully trim it to fit your frame, and pop it in, with or without a mat. Each print is made as it is ordered. Please convo me if you need a specific size. I use real cotton artist's canvas, and the newest technology to enlarge the images, pixel x pixel. There is no stretching or skewing, Cotton canvas is textured in tiny squares, and produces a soft finish like a painting. Since it is fabric, it grabs the color for an extraordinary presentation. I use archival canvas, and special dyes to print each image. They will last 100 years under normal circumstances. Your monitor settings will vary from mine, so colors may look different to you than they really are. Color match technology produces exact colors to the image file used. Satin canvas is also textured, but it not as dense. It has a semi-gloss light and moisture proof finish. It is great for posters, too. NO stretching or mounting is needed. No need for expensive, custom framing. I use special, secure packing materials, to insure that your item arrives safely. I have been collecting and selling art prints for many years. I may have just what you are searching for. Just ask, and I will create a special listing, just for you. Thank you for your interest. Carol@ just4allkids [!at] yahoo.com
One of the things I could not wait to get my hands on from the new 2021-2022 Stampin' Up Annual catalog were the Layering Diorama Dies! How cool are these? I thought they had so much potential and I am glad I finally got them out. This card was supposed to be for a Color Challenge for one of the many card challenges out there. But I just forgot about posting it! The color challenge was for Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya. I hadn't really thought of making my ocean 'pale Papaya before this challenge, which is the

''A Bouncy Day at Poole' The image on this greetings card is one of a series of drawings I have made that are inspired by swimming outside. I drove down to the south coast one day to swim with the lovely ladies (and two gentlemen) who swim at Poole. The weather came out to play too, and it was glorious, despite being late November, or perhaps because of it. The card is printed on a slightly textured, matt surface, not unlike the surface of a good watercolour paper, and comes with an attractively arty striped brown envelope. The size is A6 / about 4x6 inches / 10x15cm (folded size). It is blank inside. Larger Sizes: Most of my images are available as larger art prints. If you are interested in prices of larger prints, please send me a message. TGIF! I've waited almost a year to ink up this fabulous Tiny Townie Mermaid set from Stamping Bella. Why the heck did I wait so long you ask? Well she wasn't released until after my month of mermaids so by the time I got her I had moved on seasonally with my card making and I am just OCD like that. But I can tell you right now that she was worth the wait 'cause boy did I enjoy making this card. I wanted to use the Under the Sea backdrop stamp to give her a bit of a home but I also wanted the card to stand vertical and the backdrop stamp is designed with a horizontal card in mind. So I decided to stamp the mermaid behind the treasure chest, creating a nice break that I could then stamp one side of the backdrop on and then move the stamp to get the other side showing and conveniently hide the seem. This worked out quite well if you ask me and now I'm wondering if I can't make the same trick work for some of my other backdrop stamps in the future. Next I got to coloring and I decided to keep the color palette rather soft and light since it seemed to suit her dreamy, romantic look. I just think she is gorgeous with all that curly hair floating around her. Now I know it may be too much to ask but I would certainly love to see more Tiny Townie mermaids introduced this year because she deserves to have a whole school of mer friends to swim the seas with. I mean the last release had four fairies, why not four mermaids? Whose with me?! LOL Anywho, I am entering this card into the Bellarific monthly challenge since it is an easy "anything goes" theme. Wish me luck and have a wonderful long weekend everybody! I've continued my play with Lavinia Stamps making this quick card. I coated a 4' x 4" piece of card with pale blue "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink. I then lay the new Lavinia Stamps "Pods" stencil over the top and used "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil to create the background pattern. I decided to use a stamp I have had for a long time but not used for some time, the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Thistle", which I stamped in Versafine Clair Medieval Blue ink. I used a Lawn Fawn "Hello" sentiment and stamped it in the same ink. I coloured the Fairy Thistle pods using two shades of Distress Oxide Inks: Peackcock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I then gave them a little sparkle, using a silver glitter Signo Pen. Unfortunately the sparkle doesn't really show up in the photo, but it is there.

The Waffle Flower Sea Foam Stencil enables users to achieve the appearance of sunlight on rippling water. They suggest commencing with a light blue card stock, stenciling one layer of darker blue ink, and then rotating the stencil 180 degrees to apply another layer for a realistic effect. Dumpster collage postcard, made while channeling my inner Lenore Tawney....with boats and fish. Assorted ripped up old books found in the trash with really crappy paper quality, assorted blue washi papers, Sugene's step mother-in-laws German letters, Mandy's treasure package boat, and Ebay used postage stamp. I covered the back with boat and fish postage stamps, and Mandy says the post office didn't even mark them!
